well i think Pique and barca definetly did not fail..

And mourinho can imo kiss Guardiola foot, he is one arrogant person who will never win 6 trophys in a year.. he is good tacticaly..but as a person he is a twat..

i know that the results matters but i am no fool not knowing that the first match was whistled all but in favour to break the game and not only me seing that but whole world media was talking about it..

now i ask..where is the fairness?? in deep shit this days..

It dont matter to me who wins in final, but i realy hope Inter with this ways not.
 
I don't understand why you lot blame José. Do you know him in personal (yeah coz you are all saying he is arrogant)? I think some of you don't realise the meaning of the expression "mind games"...

Yea PIPA23 Inter players were stalling and diving, but Busquets was unfair too.
And the thing is that those unfair things happens, a lot, specially when theres a lot in stake.
You gotta know how to deal with it and separate from your game judgment for both sides.
Barca was not creative as they usually are, and Inter players were giving a lot.

I kinda of hate Mourinho fan boys, who think he is a tactical genius.
Because he is clearly not.
He deserves 5% maybe (for the 1st leg) of actual football knowledge.
Not that you need that to be a coach, he is the perfect example of that.

Mate, quite a lot of managers can win 6 trophies in a year if they were managing this Barca side, with that little number 10 in their team.

He did a fool out of him like he was in 2003 running around the Old Trafford, now he thinks he is god, but he is not better coach than Harry Redknapp to me..

just becouse he won with Porto and then he had fantastic power to spend with Chelsea and now with Inter does not make him great...

was he ever in final with chelsea..he had luck one time and that was Manchester, then in final he had who? Monaco...pff

In league he had best defence - ofence spending and buying who he wanted..

i dont argue, he has quality but...now i clearly see how media will make him tactical genius and bullshit..

even Avram Grant did more with Chelsea in CL than him..
 
At the end of the day, he guided Inter to victory, tactical mastermind or not (not IMO). Everyone knows Barca are the best side in the world. You wont beat them if you let them play their game. Jose and Inter did what he had to, they did great in the first leg to get 3 goals and they knew that for the second leg they could sit back and hit them on the break. When Busquets got Motta sent off, it was 11 vs 10 and Inter had to just soak the pressure up and couldn't really risk attacking. Obviously they wanted to go to the final, they were under no obligation to pour forward and give Barca more space, what kind of idiot would do that?!

If anything, I think Mourinho's best quality is his ability to get the team's cohesion and confidence up. Inter were so concentrated for both legs, almost flawless. Lucio celebrates everytime his GK gets the ball.... thats how much they care.

+1. And he is a winner, about that I think nobody can say something else. I don't like he, he is an arrogant, but there isn't a player that talk bad about him. I don't think is the best on coaching, but is great on motivate the team, player and give them confidence, these are better qualityes than tactics sometimes.

Exactly and thats why I love football, there are several ways of approaching results, tactical, motivator and even the glorious controversial luck.

And you don't even need all of them.

Mourinho should just be honest about his own approach.

There are many coaches around the world with better tactical skills than Mou but in the psicological aspect he is surely the number one.
Another point. He knows exactly what team needs. I think it's an absurd not giving credits to José and Porto in 2004 victory. Just because he beat Monaco? Is a lack of respect both to Mou and Didier Deschamps (Monaco's coach that time). It's an huge acheivement win a CL with players bought from Vitória Setúbal and Leira, small teams in Portugal and make them european champions (those who eventual led Portugal to the 2nd place in Euro 2004).
It's even more funny when people talk about lucky. I would prefer call it work. If you don't study, if you don't push yourself hard, you will never have sucess. Mou did the job properly. He made the right tactic for the the right type of Barça's game. Then the mental deal did the rest.

i only wanted Barca to win to prove the Madrid pathetic club that spending is not more than growing own players...

truly now it is only between Bayern and Inter..

in inter i would give it without a doubt to Zanetti, i realy admire this player..such great rolemodel..but then i dont like the ways of Mourinho and Materazzi for example.. just to name..

In Bayern i like the fact they are realy good team this year and best they have long time.. I like the fans of Bayern, very passionate but so are inter fans...

all in all it will be a huge final.. since long without English clubs..but that is only good for the game..

if Italian wins there would be saing Seria A is best in world, without Italians playing in Inter :D and if Bayern wins, then it wont be surprise, becouse they are typical germans :D
 
Here's some crazy stats for you guys that I picked up from another forum.
Barcelona had 86% possession tonight compared to Inter's 14%.
Over the two legs, Barca completed 1372 passes. Inter completed 373 (999 less).
Xavi alone made more passes than the entire Inter team.
