By the way, I don't like white, but that was an obvious one. I always thought white cars looked like washing machines.

As a minor thing, barcelona played awful yesterday, and even though Messi had 2 good chances and a hit to the post in a great play, the team didn't perform very well. In my oppinion, that's the way to stop barcelona, just what Osasuna did in the first 40 minutes: trying to have possession and attack us all the time, just what I fear Arsenal is able of.
 
Yes, but Guardiola failed blatantly. Putting Henry for Ibra killed our team, and mantaining a tired Busquets with Toure in the bench... How can we tie a game we should have won for 2 or more goals? It's the attittude problem we're having all the season. When we want, we play great, but then they decide it's enough and stop playing. Messi played a terrible 2nd half.

In my oppinion, the penalty was not more clear than the one to Messi in the first half, but referees are human and it's difficult to say in the stadium.

Good luck for the secondth leg, though I think we should go on as we proved to be better overall. Walcott surely will play from start in Barcelona, he changed the match and showed the way with his effort.

PS: Henry displayed a worrying attittude in 20 minutes. He did nothing, didn't run, didn't fight, was simply walking and watching things. A lot more is expected from a professional player.
 
Solid performance by barca...unlucky to concede the first goal and the penalty but thats how football goes when you miss that many chances...Im a Arsenal fan but im not worried about yall having a terrific game for the next match...we got outplayed and without cesc's will, this tie would have been over.

meh funny how views are looked at I mean Arsenal in the past has dominant team from beginning to end. I remember shot after shots only to score 1 goal or none with games drawing at the end. The critic then will say Arsenal plays and pass well but lack the finish product same old Arsenal.Here we just say Luck Lucky Arsenal to draw they should never have drawn...as much as we can agree Barca takes the blame for not finishing whether the 2nd leg maybe different. I think mentally we feel the chances are better ...playing knowing a 2 lead is gone throwing everything including the kitchen sink and come up drawing is a massive lift even w/o Fab ,because you lose 2 very strong backs. So, the advantage is still there for Barca ,but I`m hoping we do more countering which is not our game ,because no one can out pass Barca I see...good luck and I hope whoever wins btw they can go to the finals and win it!
 
:LOL: Brilliant game! :D that's why I love the game, in the first 45 you showed a lot of people who don't like the "Barcelona-Hype" that its duly deserved.

You should have been well clear though and instead Arsenal are still in it. Hopefully the 2nd leg can be as enjoyable as the first. :))
 
Messi is in his own class, in his own world atm. Not even Ronaldo is in there. He made all the moves fell easy as hell, yet he was playing Arsenal.

Just great performance by Messi. He didn't play so well at the Emirates, but today he did everything. Arsenal played very well and I didn't like at all our secondth half, playing conservative. In my oppinion, this team plays well only whe attacks for 90 minutes. Arsenal had too many chances in the 2nd half, and that's because they put a lot of effort and attittude.

An applause for Arsenal, they were great. Messi is just from another planet. I can't understand how people tries to put him at the same level of any other player. He's like the best Maradona every 15 days, and he's only 22.
 
You know, I used to love Barcelona.

I hate them now, and have the urge to snap Messi's legs, if I could anywhere near them...which isn't likely...
 
It's funny because his record against English clubs(scoring against) was pretty poor.

If Inter and Mourinho dont stop Messi FC then the European Cup is theirs IMO.
I dont think us, Bayern, Lyon or Bordeaux have it in them to stop Barca.
 
Inter V Barcelona will be interesting, won't be pretty but Inter have it in them to do a similar job to what Chelsea did last season.

That's what I'm picturing. So the rest of the teams better hope Inter do the job. Even if we make the final (which itself is a lot to ask for at the moment), Barca would probably batter us a lot worse than the 2-0 last year.

The inter we faced was very different than the team inter has turn into right now. They play a very solid formation, with big defending values and a lot of physical challenge. And they are extremely quick in front.

Just all the things that can hurt us. Obviously, it will be a very very difficult task winning them, it will be down to effort and the little details, as it always is. And pray Etoo doesn't rape us instead.
 
inter can definitely represent more of a challenge than arsenal and yes drekkard, they are very different from the team u faced earlier in the season. the funny thing is (although they definitely have an amazing defensive line), their offensive efforts are what really define them most right now. as a matter of fact inter is, along with barca, the team which displays the most offensive lineup in europe (3 forwards plus a trequastista).
of course that doesn't mean inter and barça are similar. infact they couldn't be more different. but not in the sense "offensive\defensive football"... it's the way they build their plays that is different. and this difference is what's gonna make this the most interesting matchup of the season (at least for me.... the average fan would probably be more entertained by an arsenal-barça matchup). i just hope both teams will be at full strenght.

drekkard, i gotta say i really envied u yesterday. the nou camp is always breathtaking (and i know that very well), but yesterday must have been even better than usual :))
