Amazing run so far 6 wins out of 6 in europe now , Tough 1st half and totally dominated the 2nd half, onwards and upwards! 2nd leg at home, should be a stroll, after this round of european competitions there will only be one scouse club in europe...;)

Yeh, Everton have been brilliant in Europe no doubt. I expect them to make at least the semis.

Anyways, I think they have the 2nd best manager in the league.'

@gerd, they are very good teams, but let's not go over the top. We beat the Dutch champions with relative ease last year.

On FORM yes. We have been in the worst form Ive seen us in recent years, while Everton have been in their best. City were a better team than United at the start of the season, on FORM. But we know who's the better team now, don't we. Form is temporary, class is permanent, as has been said many times. Everton should have been many points ahead of us now, since we've been pathetic. But we are getting our confidence back, and we are at home in the derby.

Anyways, you're a United supporter, I am sure you're loving the situation... ;)

Those two are good enough to give any team in the world a run for their money. On current form, no, I doubt we would beat them.

Fact is Liverpool are in the last 16 of the champions league in what has been a dire season. That says something.

You really are a prick. You see Man Utd in my avatar and you get all defensive. Here is a fact for you. Liverpool are very poor this year and they still got into the last 16. That to me says the competition is pretty poor.
So you think the competition is good? How many teams can realistically expect to win the CL each year? Half a dozen?

The standard of competition is not all of a sudden "very poor" because we qualified, we were not poor at the time and had we been we would not have qualified don't make it sound like we've been shite right from the beginning of this season, the competition is very difficult to win and only cunts like you think otherwise or else you wouldn't have come out with a dickhead of a sentence and the '92 comment was a bit of tongue-in-cheek because I know your a middle aged scum supporter before the sky generation so calm down and take a deep breath ecchi cockroach.

You`ve just shown your self up there mate , zenit beat villareal the other night in the uefa cup , v/real are second to madrid in la liga, no-one gets it easy against nurenburg zenit or alkmarr , oh and larrisa knocked b/burn out remember, brann are norwegian champions, your a football novice clutching at straws and jealous of everton fc and our achievments this season, just say well done and be done with it. ffs munich couldny beat aberdeen the other night , theres no easy games anymore..

I think you lot just about deserve 4th place on performances & results so far this season. Liverpoo don't deserve it, their football has been drab and they can't buy a win at home but Villa have proved that they are the set-piece specialists and work really hard every game. I think Everton have that extra bit of determination which should see them get the coveted 4th spot but it's gonna be TOUGH.
