Still A Master Of Puppets
I think you've misinterpreted what the losslesscompression was saying, he was saying the chained skills are only really good for street football, dribbling is completely different than putting together 'chain skills'. Dribbling in PES 20 is more difficult than it was in PES 19, but once you get used to is it's fairly simple To use your example, Messi can dribble past most players in PES 20 if you know what you are doing, as can Salah, Ronaldo etc etc, you just need to practice at it until you can do it.Sure. That must be why Messi, Ronaldo and Salah are indistinguishable on the pitch from players like Busquets and Casemiro. Their tricks and skills are only good for "5-side matches or street football". In real football Messi can't beat his man any better than Pique can. Right!?...
I love how fans of "real football" always hate dribbling but have no problem with nonsense like rebounds ALWAYS landing toward ONE team or a small AI forward out-muscling multiple large defenders as if he's an adult professional playing against a local U-12!
According to these experts dribbling by world famous dribblers is "unrealistic", but the same players just turning their backs and holding off much bigger defenders as long as they want is perfectly normal!
Some people simply hate anything that makes the game exciting, creative and unpredictable, and they call this insanity "realism". As long as there are so many clueless fans out there I'm not optimistic about Konami getting its act together.
There is obviously a massive difference between every player in PES 20, from how they move in general to how they dribble.
No-one here is clueless, people just enjoy different things. I'm enjoying PES 20 more than any other football game I've ever played, it probably ranks higher than PES 6 and FIFA 12 after only a few days. I'm not clueless, I just like the game. If you don't, fine, find a different game to play, or just get better at this one. But there's no need to get personal at people who are enjoying something you're struggling with.
Also, warning to any DS4 PC users, make sure you haven't adjusted the deadzones on your active profile when playing PES, it makes a massive different to how players turn and react. It changes their movement from smooth turns, to sudden turns which message with everything from first touches, to controlling and dribbling the ball. Found this out accidentally last night after having a nightmare couple of matches. Not sure how I switched DS4 profile while playing, but I did.
