it is easy for neur but cf keep running so picking gk manual is the best solution then do ball control or you keep running with CB too and that's will make gk step back and pass or long pass or hold the ball if he have some space. playing official competitions does not prevent you from making mistakes it is easy and if you want talk about scripting we can't you only speak about overall ratings there is forms too and potentials and many other things and it could be that there is no something called script so .....
 
When the game reach the maximum level of compatibility with UE some of many "bla bla" speakers will talk about efootball 2022 as a bad version just like pes 2014 (it is not that bad and you can't compare it to pes 2014) and they will classify themselves as critics when most of them are trash talkers and they don't even play the version that they talk about it badly .
It is easy you want the game to be better do a feedback or a suggestion you can have fun with memes too but at least do something like as i told you .
These was my words to all the toxic players that they think they are using their minds when they are speaking .

Except people have been making suggestions and giving feedback to Konami for years and had it fall on deaf ears. Hindsight may well indeed be 20/20 but that will not change the reality of what eFootball is. This is the game that Konami hyped up by saying it was better than expected. This is fact. This is also the game that, despite being better than they could imagine, was so broken on release Konami had to apologise and postpone plans they had for the game for months. This is also fact. No matter how much time passes, this will remain fact.

The truth is, at the end of the day, if Konami releases a quality polished product, with a variety of modes, and solid gameplay, people will play it and love it. But it will not change the fact that the introduction of eFootball was an absolute disaster. It will not change the fact that it is still missing features that players want. In the same way that NHL 15 on the PS4 and Xbox One will forever remain NHL 15.

The two most common complaints I've seen on here are in regards to gameplay and offline modes. Gameplay will never be perfect and frankly I have seen some bizarre clips of this game. My personal opinion is that it's not awful; it's an ok foundation. As for offline modes, a lot of people here, including me, play them exclusively and are very unhappy at both the lack of offering, the lack of communication in regards to said modes, and the overall lack of prioritization of said. To dismiss anyone as a trash talker for complaints that are entirely valid is disingenuous.

And to go as far as calling them cancerous.....it's been almost 18 months since I lost my mother to cancer. I wouldn't wish that on you or anyone else. And I wouldn't call refer to you or anyone else in that manner. Keep that word out of your mouth.

You like the game and you have faith in Konami to improve it. That's fine. But that doesn't give you the right to insult anyone else for thinking otherwise. If you have such an issue with dissenting point of views, there's much better things you can do with your time than coming on here.

I'm talking about the type of players that are created year by year sharing the same idea having the same bad habits and the same playstyles too.
And yes they are toxic it is a fact you find some here maybe and some in twitter too .
And about point of view maybe you see me that i have faith in konami i think you mean i have faith in game okay it is good at least i have faith in something that can be improved and changed by time .

Im sorry for that me too i lost my best friend 2019 , my other best friend 2014, my grand mother 2015, my grand father 2009,2010 my mother could die due heart attack 2018,2019 and i lost my lovely girlfriend 2019 we had 5 years relationship and this year i lost a friend too but thats life what should i say ? Dont talk about death or what ? But i will take consideration and i will change the word to toxic

Calling things "cancer" or "cancerous" is commonplace among try-hard esport dipshits, and well you just have to look at this guy's Twitter feed where he's retweeting official Konami posts about esports events :LMAO: . Some people care more about fuelling their ego than playing a quality video game. I mean who cares if the game is limited to a mid-range mobile phone and has less content than the average pre-alpha as long as it allows you to flex your e-peen online?

You do realize he is just a marketing guy and has nothing to do with the development of the game. So basically he didn't destroy the franchise, this was other people in Konami. As much as I find his antics annoying, he is the wrong person to adress regarding the franchises state.
 
The wording on the eFootball website is terrible. It's as though they try to fit 7 adjectives into every sentence and no word can be less than 10 characters.

New 'season' and still not even a basic offline friendly mode lol.

Sure the "Apology from Admin" train will rumble on.

Here is the real features :
1- Writers now can write better after reading dictionaries twice and learn how to implement adjectives in sentences or the game will crash
2- Because most of players can't defend they add a feature called "set back and take cup of tea" when your team out of ball your team will defend automatically something fans can called it ultra assisted controlling
3- Because most of players can't dribble replace current movements with old ones now you can dribble in 45 degree easily and the player will jump above the other player boot and you can zig zag as much as you want or xsquare until you reach goalkeeper
4- Improve graphics until 4GB GPU can't run the game
5- Make the ball bigger is the best thing that players tell our devs to do about physics
6- Add new difficulty when you can not win a match that's will make most of players crying so we can delete all the features above and start from 0 again .
 
I was at least hoping for a 2022/2023 calendar of planned release schedule for some substantial offline modes. I played one game yesterday (Dream team v ai) for the first time in ages and just found it so boring. There's no reward in playing these matches without some sort of league against ai teams in dream team mode. Also the game looks shocking when you have teams with generic kits. So gutted to see the game in such a bad state.
 
Honestly, I know it's cool to hate on the game. Some aspects are worth hating on, like the obscene lack of game modes, the lack of content, the disappointing graphics, the horribly unoptimized performance especially for a football game, and as usual the horrible menus/marketing/communication. But, the gameplay has seen many strides that rewards a "realistic" way of playing the game, EVEN ONLINE, even with full manual controls against ping pong players, and that's thanks to better passing physics, wavering match up against pass/shot fakes, and the improved off ball player movement and dribbling inertia coupled with a much slower build up and none of this was or ever will be seen in FIFA with its fancy content and graphics:




Rewind the above clip to the beginning: Because there's match up in EF (sorely missing when I went back to playing PES) my opposition player feels confident blocking Robbo's passing lanes while pressing match up, and because I know he's probably good enough to be doing that, I also know if I fake a pass on my strong foot, it will generate a strong blocking animation which I can use to get out of this tight spot, which I can because of the more nimble and fluid dribbling in EF. None of what I just mentioned is available in PES, not on the procedural level or the mental level. Then you have good off ball movement, and a slower, more realistic pace of the game that allows me to consider my passing options and gives me time to manually construct an attack. Finally, there's the need to properly time a stunning cross which-as in real life- might come off less than ideal if I mess up the R2 press. Then there's the way my striker's running momentum gets transferred into the header. When there's no lag, I have few qualms with gameplay. It's not perfect of course and I spent over an hour in my review talking about all those negatives, but it's good enough for a strictly offline player like myself to make the transition.

Took some time to read the comments.

From one POV, it is like someone has taken over the social media of KONAMI, and makes fun , pissing the player base, until he slowly kills any loyality in the so-called "franchise".

From another POV, it looks like KONAMI has studied very well the meta-modern marketing guidebook, as by comments like "bring back League Mode and KONAMi Cup!!!!!!", i feel like we have 1998 again, as the game content wise, is far behing even ISS pro 98....

Seriously , if anyone has a "time machine", just jump back in time, in any moment, let's say 2004, and tell to people from past, that in 2022, we will request-demand "KONANI cup", and tell me their reactions.... :shiver::THINK:

So for me, the important part of this comment starts underneath the video.
With all what I agree with… but I have the feeling, “just“ the match up feature isn’t enough. for me there are (only) 3 or 4 solid gameplay related aspects that shine. This stuff is what made me say I can see their vision here and I applaud it. But the rest feels stale, the rest of the gameplay. And to some degree, the games animations and variance that connect to that actual „gameplay“ are part of my enjoyment! It’s not really enough for me.

This is what the modern eFootball fan is reduced to; defend the indefensible for long enough and that's what happens, I suppose.
 
It's time we all realised Konami don't want the loyal fans. We mean nothing to them other than an inconvenience harping on about off-line modes that they have no real intention on delivering on. In their eyes all we do is post bad press on social media and give them bad reviews/publicity. The sooner they get rid of those disenchanted with the franchise who will never convert to pay to play the better for them. We are being strung along now to keep the numbers up for online play and they'll continue to string us along until we wise up. The control scheme, model, everything is geared towards mobile and pulling people away from the other game. They've even mapped the controls to be more like it. The bottom line is loyal fans don't matter to them anymore, there's a far bigger pond for them to fish in.

I always loved your videos and appreciate the time and effort you put in each one, but at this point it is starting to feel more like wishful thinking than actual reality. Besides dribbling I can’t see how eFootball is superior or more realistic than PES 21.

Let me put it into bullet points:

- Match up: Players in PES will routinely ignore balls moving past them, even if you deliberately move your player into the passing lane. In EF, engaging match up makes your player actively attempt to intercept these balls.
- Physical Defending: Defending in PES is simply too automated. The 2-step tackles in EF rewards proper timing and positioning when tackling.
- Stunning shot/cross: Explosive shots were contextual in PES. They happen out of your control. In EF, you decide when you think you have the time and space to put a little extra care into your shot/cross. It's not guaranteed either and requires good timing of both button presses which adds a realisitc element of variability to the outcomes here. Every player IRL wants to pull off a perfect cross or shot, but it doesn't come out as expected everytime, does it?
- Tactical movement: Tactics in PES are a mess, where you can combine possession style with a counterattacking player and a long ball build up. Wut? And even if you set a combination that makes sense (e.g. Possession style and short passing + Tiki Taka), off ball movement is simply dumber than in EF, where players attack empty corridors in a way that makes sense, even if they don't have instructions that tell them to do it. Same goes for defense, where player will cover others if it makes sense to.
- Legend AI: Extremely frustrating to play against in PES. It seems more like Superstar with biased odds of scoring a goal and enhanced accuracy. Rubberbanding sucks with Legend AI. This is why offline gameplay is way more fun in EF, if only they had the actual modes needed to make the most out of this gameplay.
- Better passing physics with better ball friction with the ground, although shooting physics and ball physics in general are better in PES.
- Overall slower pace which allows for more deliberate and rewarding build up

And as you said, dribbling and maneuvering in tight spaces.

So yeah, sorry but there is plenty that is objectively better in EF, and that's coming from a manual player who also never played online football in the past 30 years.

I would agree if the lack of top spin physics was fixed. In PES, shooting a dropping ball led to a beautiful top spin shot that dips back down. We had this for almost a decade in PES and it's gone in EF. Here it is in PES 2016:



But in EF, there's no top spin when shooting a dropping ball compared to the other PES clips:

convincing people by something will happen by time is better than convincing them by a theory or something will not happen .
it is just about time if anyone can't wait it means he is not a game fan for real, we wait from pes 2006 to 2010 to get a good game and we wait from pes 2014 to 2017 to get a good game you can see that i said no one can compare it to pes 2014 because it is more completed than pes 2014 it means progression will be faster the only difference that old versions have game modes ready but this time game modes are reworked if there is an option to sacrifice some time to get better modes with good features why not ? the other part depends on the player if you want to play or no, wait buy some items or no etc
