A different scenario is that they release the base game on release date as the former LITE version, instead of later in the year, and then the "extras" like offline play become optional DLC or expansion packs. It's something I grimly recognise as consistent with their overall direction.2 years just for the servers? I don't think so mate. Maybe I'm the most pessimistic person here in this forum but even I don't think KONAMI will make the game F2P. They made a huge hype, changed the engine and said "taking PES to a whole new level", they couldn't have done all this to make the game F2P . Maybe PES 2022 Lite version will be there in future but I don't think they're gonna make the main game F2P.
But let's see; we're fumbling in the dark and following the way of rumour merchants so far.
