eFootball (All Platforms)

Are patches really available for efootball 2024 mobile version ? Seeing many videos on YouTube. Is it really available or is it any kind of virus as they are providing a 2.4gb apk in description, some people complaining that they can't login to their Konami id. Please reply

Putting aside the bells ringing, the kerchings and such like that goes on in the landing screens etc., that are somewhat akin to being in a 1970’s amusement arcade on Blackpool pleasure beach - I’m finding lots of fun and decent games/gameplay on the Euros/American Cup.

There is a great game inside all of the F2P nonsense going on. I, like probably 95% of us in here, believe this gameplay and graphics (on PS5) are so far ahead of that other game and, if there was a serious off-line element and editing feature, I think I would be addicted and play it every day.

Sadly, now that I’ve had a go at both these tourney‘s, which I did really enjoy, I’m still in the ‘I can’t be bothered to load up and play tonight’ mindset. I should also state that I feel exactly the same with the other game too, and its beautiful, mode and content rich, authentic and almost fully licensed, but it proves that even having all of this, the lack of a decent game within, has the same result as the game with the decent football and no modes or full off-line plays.

Us football gamers seem to be stuck in a games ‘no man’s land’ these days.

When you think of the 1990’s thru to the mid 10’s the games we had and the number of seriously good ones we had in the bunch, it’s really sad imho to have all this tech, like latest consoles connected to 4K televisions with Dolby atmos and other types of surround sound systems, to have bare bones football and poor gameplay that ruins the whole thing as a pastime.

I wonder if this supposed 2K FIFA game will shake things up a bit and maybe we have reached rock bottom and that football games will rise up and become addictive, playable and worth spending and investing in good gaming kit once again, or will this just be another sad step further down the ladder leading to the basement?

The Guardian...

"PES 6 launched in April 2006, just a head of the World Cup in Germany"

Incorrect. WE10 launched in April 2006. PES 6 was launched October 2006 at the earliest. Clearly the "journalist" checking Wikipedia for a date, and not looking in-depth
I was a writer for hire at Future Publishing, basically hanging out at its office in Bath, working mostly on the Official PlayStation magazine.
Not necessarily checking Wikipedia, video games magazines used to get the Japanese versions for their previews before they got the final build of the Western version. The person may just be misremembering dates and confused PES with WE.

I dont blame KONAMI or EA for current situation in which football games are.

I blame idiots buying those cards with real money, they are real problem.

I love football, and I love football games ... but even I if was EA or KONAMI CEO would done the same, its just basic business and math.

There’s a lot of truth in what you said. The past 12 months has been pretty horrible in the industry, with so many closures of studios and people losing their jobs.

There’s a part of me that clings onto the idea that the constant flow of cash and profitability allows some refocus back into the actual game at some point, and not just caring about how to monetise and which cards to release. You can’t just keep serving the same game constantly, it needs innovation, even Fortnite gets that aplenty.

But overall honestly I’m sad. I get it’s about business, and maybe even staying alive, but I can’t get over how they turned their back on the fans who kept them alive for so long.

I think that eFootball 24 can get honestly-deserved achievment "Golden Raspberry" for creating of model most frustrating and awkward gameplay experience for both sides on the field.

maybe we will get ef25 at 13 sep and modes like old ML and Edit will not pass next january

... or, like always you'll get the same € logo, new cards, new coins, new ambassadors, new casino modes to grind again during 2025 those juicy packs...
till when ? even if they are getting fed from mobile there must be a schedule for mods now the level of the mod it must tell it worth or not the wait so maybe company will lost the solid fanbase side of it.

I've recently given EAFC24 a proper chance and honestly, the more I play it, the more I appreciate eFootball. eFootball is a far superior representation of football imo and also more consistent. The dribbling in EAFC is horrendous, so unnatural and the balls seems totally stuck to the players, with focus being on player movement rather than actual dribbling. The ball is almost an after thought or a consequence of player movement rather than being the focus.

That then leads to really weird ball physics and animations in certain scenarios which make the game feel and play awfully.

eFootball has the fundamentals really well implemented imo, keepers still look terrible and variation in ball physics need a lot of work but the way games play out feel so much more representative of a game of football.

I just don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for offline players, even after speaking to those close to the game who still maintain offline modes are in the works. I mentioned before I used to be a mod over at WENB so the info was well sourced but was also very vague and non-committal. Right now I hold very little hope we'll ever see a proper offline game from Konami which is a huge shame given the lack of alternatives for me and the best konami experience in years.

You are by PC or PS5?

Does it bother you that the game is painfully scripted? That no matter how you kick the ball, it falls at the feet of your player or CPU player? I'm writing about eFootball. It kills all the pleasure I have from interacting with this creature.

Do you mean the high accuracy of the pass?
Try to play by fuma.

PS5.

As I said, there needs to be more variation in ball physics but I see lots of heavy touches, especially when using the first touch skills but sometimes just when players are stretching and little things like that add a lot for me. However, there is far more in EAFC which kills my enjoyment, given every time i move with the ball it feels awful.

I truly believe if presentation/modes were equal (including GK animations) people's views would be vastly different on both games. That said, both of those things are ultimately part of the package and difficult to overlook so I understand.

This is fucking hilarious. FM 25 will have the PL on top of the other licenses that they currently have but Coinami, a bigger publisher, can't even hold on to the licenses that they currently have. 🤣

Its not a question they can not its just about interest and they have not interest in leagues because the model of their online Game focusing only on players and premium partners with teams

Konami don't care about league licenses, all they need are player cards. There is no need for leagues and real teams anymore. I'm baffled that there are still people who belive there will be a master league someday.
Oh, check out the little baby who can't wait until 2037 for Master League :BORED:
