Efootball 2022 Survey
I wrote this in the comments section:

"We need more offline content such as Leagues, Cups and custom tournaments even if Master League isnt ready yet.

We need friend lobbies and custom online Leagues & Tournaments and manual passing filters for online play.

We need edit mode back!

We need Manual Passing back mapped to the L2 button. Passes on levels 1, 2, & 3 are simply too automatic and make the gameplay predictable after a number of matches.

We need more feints.

Lastly we need Fluid Formation back along with tactics sliders so we can create out own unique tactics rather than be lumped with just 5 all in one styles."

I already filled the Japanese survey. I didn't understand it, but then I clicked at answers completely at random & then said it's already perfect & they shouldn't ruin it with patches.

I've pointed out in their "survey" that Torrent (the horse) from Elden Ring emulates way better balls physics than their entire Research Institute... I'm pretty sure they'll not dive deep to investigate the matter...

Joking aside, eFootball's dumbass survey will be always like...

Efootball 2022 Survey
Last time, I was intrigued with the survey and filled it out. That was months ago. This time, I couldn't give two shits. There is no point filling out this stupid survey because it's pointless.

So they don't have play testers who can help them out with the game? What happened to using the windsor guys from the beta test back in July 2021 who were responded positively about how the game felt at the time?

Look, I understand the importance of sending out these gaming surveys and how it helps with new modes, features, and additional gameplay elements that can be added in the future of a game, but we're talking about simple gameplay mechanics like player responsiveness, our satisfaction with passing the ball and AI. They need our input for that? Imagine Rockstar taking surveys on what we think the responsiveness of the shooting is or how well the driving mechanics are in their game. This is basic stuff that you, as a dev, are suppose to know. You are suppose to have play testers to tell you whether or not this or that works in the game. Do they not play their own fucking game to know all the answers to these survey questions?

This just further reaffirms what some of us have been saying since April, and that is this team of devs, including Coinami lack a vision for this game. It's like they are just going through the motions until something hits gold while keeping their mobile version intact.

I took a look at their survey today and the first page is long as fuck. Even if I had all the time in the world to fill out the survey, I just can't be bothered to do it.

They talk all this shit about community and they couldn't give a flying fuck what the community says.

I hate to bring this up, but EA got the message from their player base after Fifa players criticized the lack of single player and career mode features in fifa 21. They did put some effort into it for Fifa 22. While it's an improvement from 21, it's still ain't best football game, and I wouldn't waste my time with it, but I'll give them credit for listening to what players wanted. We'll see what happens with Fifa 23.

Instead of a survey, they can send their PR person to come here to get a sense of what being talked about. For instance, they can do something about those cheaters and other miscreants who continue to ruin the player enjoyment with their cheating and unsportsmanlike conduct during matches. Voiders, laggers, etc.

How about a limit on how many legends you can have on your squad in certain competitions to make some of these matches more competitive and skill based? I know that will never happen since they let horse out the barn with their obsession over legends packs.

Perhaps adding some offline mods would help improve your standing with players? Just saying ... 😒

How about adding some fucking dynamic weather system and an injury system to the game? I'm tired of looking at the same damn pitch. At least with having dynamic weather, there is something to look forward to in each match. Weather effects like rain, wind, heat and snow can add a lot of variability to these matches, and we can see the rain effects on the player models, their kits, and on the pitch. Also, the possibility of player injuries can spice up some of these matches. Add a fatigue tiredness system, mental sharpness, or something. As much as I dislike the dream team concept, it can work if they could be a little more creative with this mode.

I did not roast the game in the survey.
Because for the first time I feel that I play football, I control athletes with the best implementation of inertia and momentum, with down-to-earth tempo and feel.
I can't think of a football game that is better overall (gameplay wise).
For a free game I get decent offline matches with good AI and online experience is decent.
The overall feel is surely a positive one for me.
Dream Team is an Okay experience with rewards, trainings, experience, contracts etc. Not that deep, but simple and enjoyable.
I didn't pay a cent and already all my players have 92-98 rating.
There is a ton of room for imrovement for sure but I am happy up to now.

I made a survey from them for the first time in a long of time, I just clicked all option to 1 (very bad) and finishing my commentaries with just one word "trash" I did not even read the questions :BYE:

I agree flokiman.
The game was an absolute dumpster fire when it launched last year but even though its still far from what we were promised, I personally like how offline feels and I haven't had this much fun playing against the ai since pes 2018.
I can sympathise with a lot of the criticism efootball is getting but I'm currently happy with it probably because I had my expectations extremely low from the start.

Of course you don't, coz it's an aggressive waste of time, roasting it or not...

You can't think of a better football game coz such game that you say didn't existed or exists at all with inertia and momentum down to earth tempo feel from the heaven itself directly from god. That is pure bias and what you're saying will be a real game straight from TV, nobody tried to reach that level yet in a football game (eventually will see one some decades later in UE5). It's weird when people are defending eFootball with such words, but they are forgetting to mention the other even more important half of the glass filled with air that should complete that non existing gap: the physical duels between players to reach and win the ball utilizing same recycled unfinished broken animations from the start of the fox engine via same lazy assets from previous games (it's laughable), stamina bar that's completely broken (it's just a pointless bar that depletes, doesn't affect you while sprinting or doing actions during the game to see an actual impact that could force you to do subs or to change formations), keepers that are still anticipating your actions before you shoot jumping towards the ball like using a trampoline, the AI in defense that are unaware where they are or what to do (people like @janguv pointing out with vids) especially the CBs and the DMFs/CMFs positions, there isn't much duel on the midfield where the ball is going flawlessly directly from one half to another, the referee that isn't a referee he is shy to give often strict faults or penalties (obviously because of those recycled and broken unfinished animations from 1v1 duels) etc, etc, etc. Or in your book those aspects doesn't count? The experience itself in eFootball is way behind than controlling actual athletes...

By decent offline matches do you mean that lazy friendly demo-like mode (5-10 minutes) matches with 8 or 9 teams? What's decent in that content wise, comparing with previous PES games? In other hand Dream Team could be ok to you, but you know well what's the real reason behind its existence, and by that I'm not referring about virtual GP that you're grinding or given by Koinami as presents because "they are being nice"...

Me neither, but there are many that are falling to that addiction to pay and get everything for a better chance, equally like other addictions like gambling for example to win all the money (but that's another fat topic)... I agree that's a ton of room for improvement, and by that I mean: obliterate eFootball from its existence to create an authentic PES in UE5 :TU:, and starting again from where they left off "PES 2022 teaser" that in the end was a marketing scam.
Koinameh beeing the iluminati of the entire live service copy/pasta industry, riddle me that...

I still pop in from now and then, the new English league is at least a bit of fun and I got the following nice end out of the game, when the video starts it's 1-1 and I have switched my Liverpool to 3-5-2 and all attack to try to win.

The biggest problem I have with the game, apart from being a demo like experience, is that on FUMA the AI just has a rotten time figuring out who I am passing to. Almost half the time it switches to a player worse suited to receive the ball, even if my pass wass pretty much directly to someone else.

My biggest issue is I always feel like I am battling the game and controls rather than my opponent. Football live and not on tv is very quick which was always one of the big pulls for PES. Because unlike FIFA where you would press pass and then wait for a 2 second animation before the pass was executed PES actually felt like football on the pitch. You could react through the controller. They have completely destroyed this element to the point that FIFA is the more responsive of the 2 titles. If you play real football the lag between you deciding to pass, your brain processing kicking the ball and you kicking it is instant and that's how it should feel (and used to feel) through the controller.

You're being kind. I wrote "We want Pro Evolution Soccer back". I think that says it all.

Last month or so is the first time in about a decade I enjoyed playing online.

The latest patch has destroyed all the fun I've been having. An anti-football patch imo.

From the heart brother.

I see it as now or never, next month we either get some respect as offline players or offline football is history!
We can only hope my friend - without hope, what is left?

I just hope that someone, somewhere at Konami is considering big changes. The backlash they get on Twitter every time they send a tweet sums up how the fanbase feels. They’ve got to do something, surely?!

Sorry i have almost gave up on this game i tried it yesterday and dont even understand the layout. Wheres exhibition master league etc.

Most realistic apology simulator.

If this was a relationship it should be ended after the 3rd apology for the same offence. But maybe inertia is too strong in this game.

I find their endless apologies quite distasteful, given they are clearly a pretence that they’re being caring about their customers, giving them chunks of free credits in a deliberate attempt to lure them more deeply into the game, hoping to get them addicted, so they start spending real money.

Long may their point giveaways continue, I am only 20k points shy of getting Alexander Arnold.

I play something like 3-5 matches a week now and I usually have fun with it. Maybe it's even the best way to enjoy it, just having a bit of a nibble now and then. A more prolonged exposure through something like a Master League (Let's just accept now that they will never actually make that for eFootball) might induce boredom faster.
