eFootball (All Platforms)

nice teleporting of players, that's next-gen for you
The CB seemed to just put the brakes on . I re downloaded on ps5 and it's terrible . A sluggish ugly sister of pes 21 with no modes . And PES21 ended up terrible for me with the complete lack of midfield. Overall this is far worse

Shame we’re talking about Jimmy Bond and not about the game isn’t it?!

When the game turns up, maybe we’ll all get back into sharing our thoughts on this wonderful football sim game from that equally wonderful, finger on the pulse producer called Konami.

Juventus license just got back to EA
I saw this tweet earlier and had to laugh. This big-talking moron, this community-taunting "what could the colour of my trainers mean, big announcement guys" guy... I'd forgotten he existed.

Pretty sure he left the company, but he should NEVER work in PR again. Unless his employers are fine with him pissing off their fanbase. What a...

And this fact now makes me HATE the exclusive deals that Konami has, as I WILL get Fifa in October and am going to have the Serie A with about 4 big teams missing still (teams that I'd argue Konami are wasting tbh. How much was the license? And how well is that license being utilised, when NONE of those clubs will appear in Trial Match. Will a new Italian team replace Juve in trial match mode? Or will we go down to 8 teams only? So many questions, & I bet Konami doesn't even have the ability to answer a single one as of now)

This company is able to do something good? and not saying sorry all the time? is becoming embarrassing
Wtf? Unforseen circumstances? Those events were recently released by Coinami only for them to be suspended. This whole company is a giant lolcow, I swear. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Fucking amateurs.

And apparently, there's some scummy shitheads who are using and sharing cheating software for efootball on the efootball steam page in the forums section. Of course, these cheating programs, like most, if not all of them, are filled with malware and trojans that will harm your pc. You're better off spending your time having good wank over your favorite celebrity or instagammer instead of spending any amount of time playing this game.

I would go a step further and say this game should come with a health disclaimer. Efootball will give you deleterious mental health issues due to its predatory gambling mechanics and bad gameplay.

And that's my second level of disbelief.

If you ignore the part, about abondoning their loyal player/customer base , in order to milk the cash cow.

How will they keep this Live Service functional, since they have proved through time, about their incompetency?
(Due to being "amateurs", or underpowered, or lacking in investment power, or whatever...)

I'm sorry but EA are equally as bad if not worse, but both are ruining it for genuine football fans as well as proper competition in the footy video game space. We literally have two football games that on modern hardware should be the best we've ever played, yet they are worse than games that came out over the last 15 - 20 years.

Even EA with all the licensing still use player models and faces from 4-5 years ago. With the money they make every team should be full of accurately created players, but it's only the top teams plus a few random players that have that treatment. Let's not get started on generic goalie kits for some teams, getting less & less International teams etc etc.

Very true, and EA started the exclusivity thing I guess. But at least they use the license. EA's isn't a perfect game, but compared to eFootball, it's GTA III v Driv3r

All this potential and promise is ebbing away from the game now as us offline players have been disrespected and shafted.

I actually enjoyed my climb to Division 5, lots of good players out there and its competitive with only 4 losses out of 25 games because I'm being attacked by the government here so laying low and have little to do this week bar work from home, the fundamentals are there, but 'Dream Team' is the definition of what they call 'scripted'

Dream team is all about.

- The highest Team Playstyle Rating gets the advantage
- The highest player ratings get the advantage
- and finding 11 players with the right player traits so off the ball they make the right runs so you win.

Many times the better player is deliberately fucked over due to team player style ratings along with how absurdly overpowered every player is making it fantasy ball like. There are times you win because you have a better team playing style and the game basically scores for you. There is no development work needed on this P2W shit, its done, whatever, you made back some of the money you lost from the shambles on release last year konami, how about us offline players are shown any respect?

I cannot stand this passing anymore on Dream team even level 3. Its so shit in this iteration. This new update makes defending far too automated and easy, its too much but just having a better player and holding matchup for autotackle. There is no depth anymore in this setup, its just a cash cow P2W spinner for Konami. I'm bored of this crap. I miss offline and Konami really need to lay down their A game this coming month, the season starts in less than 2 weeks and some leagues have already started.

No excuses! Konami must deliver good offline content next month or this efootball plan will go down the drain. Absolutely nothing to do bar play online. The only way this can move forward is actual offline content, Leagues and Cups at a minimum and longer matches. Just try an offline 10 minute game and the gameplay is clearly ready for this now, the lack of information on offline content from Konami all year has been so poor and ultimately disrespectful.

It totally boggles the mind.

In terms of presentation, yes, without any doubt. PES was comparable only thanks to the community creating mods and option files over the years.
However in terms of gameplay PES was superior, to me. I still play PES21. Had a go at FIFA 21 and FIFA22 but they don't feel like football to me.
And other things I hate about FIFA: ridiculous amounts of national teams and lackluster League experience. Still 7 players on the bench with 3 substitutions and if you start a league season there are no European or domestic cups integrated...

As stated above, I tried Fifa 22 on FUMA (as I usual play PES and eFootball that way), and the result is positive. Empoli v Torino (me as Torino), a 2-1 win with possession fairly even. It doesn't compete with PES in terms of gameplay, obviously. That's down to the engine. But with a few tweaks of the sliders, it can get to something that is somewhat realistic I would say. I did turn GK up to 99 as well, so they are somewhat similar to PES GK's. If anyone is interested, I can post my slider numbers so you can give it a go yourself. Although I must state I'm on PS4, so not sure how the changes would affect next-gen gameplay

Yes, show you slider set please!

CPU sliders are the same, EXCEPT for Pass Error (70), Pass Speed (37), Pos: Line Height (35) & First Touch Comtrol Error (80). Unsure about Line Height, as trying to get the defence to be a bit deeper, but I guess only so much that sliders can do.

Edit: After posting this, I put Line Height on 5 for both sides, and it works better I think

well this game could be good, if your inputs didn't take so long for the game to respond. it's like the animations are over riding my inputs.
i like the look of the game though, stadiums and player models are better than before.

Just think the gameplay suffers and isn't exciting like old PES because you don't have the amount of control as you should.
#1 problem for me.

After more time i see the AI still doesn't defend, just space everywhere. you can pass around all day and run through the defense as they watch you go bye.

like the animations though.
