You know the answer already 😅Are all teams added in exhibition? Did they add option file and edit?
AFAIK: No, No and No.Are all teams added in exhibition? Did they add option file and edit?
I didn't, but given your reply, all my hope is shattered again. You know the answer already 😅
Konami said some edit functions will be available in Winter 2022.I didn't, but given your reply, all my hope is shattered again.
What is happening? Are they never going to add all teams, option files?
BTW i 100% agree with @vxcmplx regarding the on the ball sheilding which is so poorly done. It should not be manual, it should be automatically contextually to what opponents are around you. The L2 function on the ball is now wasted since i can't use it for manual passes, level 3 passing is annoying as there are so many situations it either goes to the wrong player or the passes are auto overhit or underhit directly t your opponent. Not sure when this survey is coming but this is a huge problem for me and i hope others speak about this to Konami.
It's depressing that any Football games that have appeared recently are geared for online play and the same audience as FUT. I guess unless it's a huge company, who would fund a single player game, when you try and monetise and make huge amounts of money from in-app purchases etc.How many years do you think until PES returns properly?
It's so strange how few sports games there are despite the obvious mainstream appeal. Licences is a barrier to entry, but there's enough people dissatisfied with FIFA a semi decent game should be able to attract enough players regardless.
I'd love a lesser known developer to have a stab at a simulation. Like Big Ant who does the cricket games. Even if it was janky in places and lacked polish, a new approach would be a breath of fresh air.
In a way the late 00s FIFA games felt a bit like that after years of being atrocious for so long. Actually thought up to until the engine change in 2017 they replicated the fundamentals really well other than passing.
The Pes we knew is never coming back. Even if the current model would be somehow defeated I see them scratching it all and abandon the thing rather than ever present again something complete. We must hope, as you said yourself, that sooner or later some new kid in the block will realize there is also a market for a different kind of game rather than the FUT clone we'll be flooded in a couple of years and put an effort build it. In the current situation I wouldn't hold my breath for it tho.How many years do you think until PES returns properly?
ot: I bet you have another online account with the nickname “1234567a”! …or it’s your real name!Gave this another go.
I lasted about 2 mins. It is serious gash. I was on WC, got the ball on the edge of my own box and just ran past everyone. Keeper saved the shot, it fell to their defender, he passed straight to my attacker, who tapped it in.
Konami can fuck off, bunch of idiots.
Licenses are a barrier to entry but for me the trick a newcomer would need to do is create immersion for the player. I really believe you can do this without licenses. Non sports games do it all the time and we immerse ourselves in fake fantasy worlds so why not football. A virtual footballing world where you can lose yourself. You could have a completely fake player database, teams, stadia, kits etc. I'm talking each team with it's own songs from the terraces, stadium music, a depth more like in FM (obviously not to that extreme) where you get the press reports, goal of the season, player interactions, supporters clubs, training facilities etc. You could even develop fake sports brandings for the kits and ad boards. An active modding community to be encouraged and supported but stay away from using official licenses for legalities. It would take time to grow and the investment of course, but if you had the basics right of a very playable footie sim and grow the fake footballing world you would never be bound by licenses and in my opinion would get a following. You'd never get the casual market and I get that licensed teams are part of the immersion. But with enough depth to the footballing world, good realistic gameplay and a healthy community I think with time you could grow it. Commerciality is already ruining football for the real fans and I am seeing a growing number of people supporting local teams and turning their backs on the big ones as they become more disenchanted with the professional footballing world. In other words I don't think it's just esports that true fans are growing tired of. Just think, a true gamers game of football where the pitch is really ours would be the vision. You get past the licensing issue and the only limits are the talent of the development team and their creativity. The realism is in the game and game world you can create, not the licenses. Suppose I can dream! How many years do you think until PES returns properly?

What is this all about?
Same here I to check this thread every few days to see if this steaming pile of turd of a game has improved in some way as I refuse to waste 10 mins playing it but it doesn’t seem like much has changed. I know its a terrible game but I can’t not look at this thread!I only come in here now and then to witness the slow decay of this steaming pile of turd game until its inevitable death
Isn't it 10 min now?Yeah offline feels more grounded and responsive. Its still basic, 5 min, only one ball, transfers out of whack etc but its an enjoyable play. If they release league modes and I'd like to see more tactics and stuff added then I would definitely purchase those.
This was the trial match mode btw, I haven't played dream team offline or the online modes so can't speak for them.
Just checked and your right, it is. Been that long since I opened the game.Isn't it 10 min now?
