eFootball (All Platforms)

What is wrong with this card btw :

I got it and I never saw something like that , its normal card but it just shine... is it bug ?

I was just beating someone 3-0 at the 54 minutes and he disconnected the game and I LOST
Since 1.0 it's been like that. It happened to on several occasions. Back in April, I was playing the dream team league in a match against another player and all I needed was 3 points to qualify for division 6. I didn't have enough games left to make up for a loss so I needed those 3 points or I would face relegation. During the match, the game was tied 1-1 until I scored in the 77th minute. The score was 2-1 and my opponent was acting desperate. He decided to go all attack, made a poor passing error, and I countered with quick 1-2 passing and scored again so it's 3-1. Then, as soon it was his turn to kick off, he "disconnected" and I lost the match. He cost me 3 points and that's when I stopped playing this fucking game altogether because this was happening more frequently than I was expecting. Players quiting during matches and costing the other player to lose. WTF is that all about?

But don't worry though, because they told us...

"The final result was even more impressive than we had originally conceived". 🤡

player missing 200% big chance? never happened irl

What an asinine take !!

While i do want realism in my game (considering the positioning, weak foot, trajectory etc etc), videogame mechanics in general are supposed to be consistent. Its what make them a game, and not a real life scenario.

I have had way easier chances missed by my players, often, open nets even, and thats definitely not because this game is aiming for realism.

Taking one real life scenario (that seldom happens in real life) to match and justify broken mechanics in game ? Its laughable.

These clips popped up in my chat group today. c They are from PES 20 demo. Back then, when the PES20 full game came out, there was a lot of request asking Konami to bring back the demo version touch and shield, and defensive wrong footed weight planting. (there was even a petition)

That's 3 years ago, I can't say what we have now is better. In efootball, we now have a shield button but it barely even does anything useful. And the shield animation itself is so non contextual. It's a very isolated animation, with no hint of blending with the animation before and after, and to the context (it's basically just a twerk pose).

At least in the 20 demo video above @0:25 you can see the Boca player getting challenged from the side, and he uses both hands to push himself off the body contact, creating separation, so he can actually gain freedom to move a bit, rather than get locked into the tussel.

The shield button now, doesn't recognize any context, definitely not challenges coming in at an angle from the rear, it only does something when you can align the challenge directly in a straight line from the rear. And even then, the shield barely does anything useful

Can someone please reply, as I can’t find the words... but a bit sarcastic and along the lines... when a company is breaking the unwritten rules of customer care, they will be disqualified by the customer!

Just a thought...
have a good day y’all!!

Jesus Christ. I knew the game was bad but this is beyond my worst thoughts. They improved only faces, but everything else is ruined! The turf, the lighting, shadows... And the ball still has no shadow too! How did this shit get better ratings in Steam? And you still play it? Guys, you have no selfrespect at all.

i bought pes 2020 just because of the demo gameplay
my last original game was fifa07 that i got from mom and dad for christmas

that was the start of the end, the demo gameplay got ruined because it wasnt a manipulative gameplay
it had real skill gap, based on real football knowledge and game skills

Cheaters strike again. The Div1 guy could not defend or move or pass or anything on the field. But when its needed (twice) he scored two unstoppable goals.
But again if the account owner just handed over his controller to his toddler to play the game and thats why it felt so easy again still something is fishy. Either with the game itself or the account.

....couldn't he just win the game if he was able to score unstopped goals at will tho?

No. When you constantly stuck in your own box bc you cant make two consecutive reasonable passes for 88 minutes but when i score you get hand helded by someone, something and start scoring right after ...thats weird. So reported because its suspicious. If its just indeed hand holding by someone or just the game flawed with scripting or it is indeed cheating in a way, its up to Konami to decide either way.

I have not seen more incompetent company in my entire life like konami, your game is a shit and you only care about training kits in a teamwhich you have spent 45 millions in 6-7 years for being main sponsor and this has not any benefits to the game just publish your brand to more people around Italy and around the world but for what? If the game is trash, no one is gonna play it althought you get 600 premium platinum globals partners

The opponent is not cheating. It's simply the Fox Engine scripting getting out of control.

While i havent played the game in about 2 weeks due to new exciting work projects and family gathering, I dropped by to see Dream Team is still a total shitshow. I will come back again in August when the offline content actually starts properly for the new season. Since April, literally all Konami care about is microtransaction money to make up for the disaster and lost income from October 21' to March 22', this is clearly their primary source of income for this title.

Lots of the same negatives still present i see in these comments, my naviety and positive thinking can only hope that since April despite the issues they have 4 months of the gameplay base done so they have zero excuses not to deliver a proper game offline and help add depth to the game offline to help things for authentic games using real teams offline or online.

Dream Team no matter if the gameplay becomes the Muhammad, I'm hard Bruce Lee of football games will satisfy me r mamy people here. 95+ rated God like players will always give weird, fantasy like football rather than a simulation.

BTW i 100% agree with @vxcmplx regarding the on the ball sheilding which is so poorly done. It should not be manual, it should be automatically contextually to what opponents are around you. The L2 function on the ball is now wasted since i can't use it for manual passes, level 3 passing is annoying as there are so many situations it either goes to the wrong player or the passes are auto overhit or underhit directly t your opponent. Not sure when this survey is coming but this is a huge problem for me and i hope others speak about this to Konami.

Speaking of cheaters...

A guy who's leading in one of those efootball 22 championship open rankings has 276 goals in 15 games and zero goals conceded. Another dude from another rankings table is leading with 481 goals in 15 matches, conceded 1. How does one score that many goals in short amount of time in a PVP match without cheating?

While these problems continue to persist, the fine geniuses over at Coinami are busy tweeting out nonsense like how lovely their stupid training kits look on the Inter Milan squad because that's the most important thing in the minds of players right now. :LMAO: :LMAO:

For its CEO, Konami’s main platform will be mobile

The CEO of Konami, Hideki Hayakawa recently gave an interview to the Japanese site Nikkei Trendy in which he evokes the new strategy of his company. And the latter implicitly confirms the information that has recently leaked from the sequels of the "Kojimagate." For Konami, console games will clearly move to the second, see in the third plane.

The statements of Hideki Hayakawa will undoubtedly make the teeth of players attached to the "traditional" model of the video game market grind. Selected songs (translated by a member of the American NeoGAF forum):

We will be aggressively interested in mobile games.

Our main platform will be mobile. Based on the "pay as you play" model of titles like Power Pro and Winning Eleven (PES in the West) in which content is added after they are released, our games no longer have to sell things like "items" but selling things like "features."

These games have allowed us to see that even people who buy physical games want to buy additional content. The success of Power Pro has motivated us more than ever to transfer our popular series to mobile.

Video games have spread across many platforms. But in the end, the platform that is always closest to us is mobile. The future of video games is mobile.

We hope that our games sold abroad like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Winning Eleven will continue to sell well. But we are constantly looking for ways to carry our licenses on mobile in these countries as well.

Cross-platform games have shown that there is no point in dividing the market into categories. Mobiles will assume a new role, which is to connect the general public and the world of video games.

If Konami intends, at least in the short term, to continue to market console games in the West from the Metal Gear and PES licenses, we clearly should not expect a multiplication of console game releases. The ratio between the development costs of these AAA console games and what they earn is no longer interesting for a Konami who has seen the amounts reported by some mobile games.

And Konami is not the only Japanese publisher to look at things this way. To better understand the current state of the Japanese market, we invite you to listen to our Podcast dedicated to the new face of the Japanese video game available at this address.

But its not my job to differentiate, if something is shady i report the match. Konami has to decide.
