eFootball (All Platforms)

Its a very different type of lag in this game. Its not necessarily that your button inputs are delayed but theres an extreme unawareness from your ai players and your own players walk and run way longer to some places causing you to overshoot easier.

Giving a false sense to the opponent that some passes are viable to do.

Yeah, had another game after that which ended 6-5 to the opponent because i couldn't defend, my players were just all over the place coliding with each other and taking slow motion touches while i had spammed the clearance button. Just not worth playing so i quit for today to avoid further frustration. All animations are in slow motion, it's like playing on -5 speed

When i see those numbers, who's the fault? They're multi-billions companies.
They could even be passionnate devs about football, the numbers are talking by themselves and their goal is to make you smile.
The amount is considerable, i can't even blame them for turning to FUT or MyDreamClubTeam.

Who makes those numbers? The players actually, probably from 20 to 30 years old.
Who's to blame? As long as they permit micro-transactions in the whole world, not only them...
Even with micro transactions or whatever else, if they sort out a good football game (one is a beta, the other is incomprehensible simply) that's all we got to matter.
No choice for us. On my side i decided to wait about Efootball next update, and if it doesn't follow a good path to me when the game will be "gameplay-ly" finished, i'll just playing sometimes retro, or often i don't know, but i will be bored and quit that shit for good.
There's tons of others good games i'm even embarrassed not playing and doing PC and PS2 retro stuffs instead.

And for a game to be played more than another, he should be at least good. I see Efootball got potential for a Beta, on the other side i see they listen a bit too much E-sports shitty advice and don't care : the game will sold as he's looking good and professional (won't talk about the gameplay).

But thats really f'ed up as i did not have lag.
If you didn't have lag, and @dannybaker rarely gets it (I'm guessing), isn't this an indicator that it's the gameplay adding lag for the purposes of representing a disparity in team strength? Was your team stronger by any chance?

I see issues like @The_Knight has documented many times, where the power bar displays before a player gets the ball, and should be hitting a first-time shot, but just... Doesn't. I put that down to gameplay, not lag (especially on my wired FTTP connection).

Two ways of looking at it. For me, it's unacceptable that the gameplay works like this in 2022, and stinks of "buy better players so you get a guaranteed advantage". That's not a football game.

But for the sake of balance, others such as Jose from the Footy United podcast (and who I respect massively despite a difference of opinion on this), say "it is what it is, it makes for a better game, if you don't like it then it's not the game for you":

Most likely not but i cant remember, maybe he can elaborate on it.

By the way if i draw against a stronger opponent i get deducted from my rank? Ok game.

Reached division1 rank 31 today. I am still the only one playing real football, keeping the defense structure in tact at all costs. All the quick counter meta sweaters are having a horrible time trying to crack down my defense - truth is most people only know how to score goals of counters. If you don't press them and just run everyone back first, they are clueless on what to do.

I faced only 1 guy who played a similar style to mine, but his execution was horrible.

Just feels absolutely gratifying winning with realistic football because it works best in this game versus all the sweat lords.
Every time I see a 3CB, 1LB formation with 3 strikers cramped into the center, I already know it will be a free win.
What formation do you play and what playstyle?

Well, I've now had privileged access to the inner workings of the German 5th division, and I can tell you that the reason it's so high quality is that the German footballing pyramid is inverted.

So, e.g., this is a team befitting the German 5th Division:

That's how they are so good at keeping clean sheets! (Oh and of course, their superior tactical acumen and commitment to defensive principles; that's the real reason...)

So yesterday I tried to log into to play efootball league and it was stuck with the loading symbol trying to get into the efootball league. I tried reinstalling the game from steam, verifying the files and nothing. I even downloaded the game from Microsoft Store to see if that would help and it did the same thing.Though I am able to play the AI events. It seems as though its stuck trying to load into the online screen.

I remove what i said about "no team unlicensed for NT". It was the case for 0.9 and 0.9.1, they weren't anywhere on the database, neither hidden or i don't know : only on Pes 21-22 Mobile.

Now on Efootball there's even a new NT for Asia, not licenced but with real players : India
https://www.pesmaster.com/national-teams-asia/efootball-2022/league/0/

Only 6 with real names on 16 teams, 2 under licence (Thailand/Japan). 6 with real names. Same as the old version for every continent.

https://www.pesmaster.com/national-teams-africa/efootball-2022/league/1/

For what purpose? As those players wheren't participating to Myclub, but ML or Cup/League mode only, so offline modes.
And it's okay that they still got every signle European nations with licences and real kits.
I hope that post isn't too positive please forgive me i'm only talking licence and offline :JAY:

No but seriously, what's the point if there's no way to edit those teams or play with it offline on tournament to kept them and even add one?
Edit will be sure on next update(s) but if it was only for playing exhibition matches... Plus they're updated.

Ah yes, imagine playing Call of Duty and you have to fire your weapon at nothing in particular because you have to guess an enemy is going to pop out of cover rather than actually reacting in real time when he does.

The whole point of video games being responsive, especially fast paced titles such as sports, fighting games and FPS is that their reactionary. The joy and excitement comes from using your co-ordination and your judgement to gain an advantage primarily.

If you have to improvise due to lag and latency that shouldn't even be there in a video game in 2022 in the first place, every damn match then it's not enjoyable, and you're not really participating.

There's some things I will defend about this game and there's other things I will cuss until the cows speak Spanish but the latency makes this unplayable for me, how can this be so sluggish online compared to it's literal predecessor?

I mean, again... How can you endorse the latency and act like it's part of some kind of daring game design that should be appreciated?

Sure you're doctor could get drunk and sluggishly perform life threatening brain surgery on the love of your life with lower reaction time, for the sake of a challenge - Would you say that isn't a problem then?

Is n't due to the new license with AFC? I see the new expanded format with 40 teams in AFC CL is present, at least in pesmaster, i don't have the game. From what i understand the deal goes also for the NT competitions, AFC Asian Cup (the respective EURO of Asia), and i assume that they will/would implement the ASIAN Cup in a KONAMI way, the same they did with UEFA EURO 2020(2021) license. Official final stage of the competition fully licensed , with scoreboards/addboards, and only the final stage of the competition, without qualifing stage.

Of course, if any offline mode, is meant to be delivered...someday...

That's not true. Where did you see that?
They did this routinely in myClub. They already use bonus players for events in eFootball. Don't think they're locked behind lootboxes yet but can certainly imagine they'll go in that direction since they've done it for years.

These ''bonus players'' that it asks for are any common players from PL,La Liga,Serie A and Ligue 1 and you can get them with GP, they're not locked behind anything. And it doesn't make a big difference even if you don't have them..you just play one more match and you get the points that are needed to complete the event.

Right but we're in the very early stages of how they're allocating the bonus qualification and what benefits it confers. I'm looking at their well established older practice on myClub and inferring as to how I think they'll use them in future.

Man, delayed controls are nightmare for me.

Someone should just reverse engineer and port PES 06 or 13 to some new engine with next gen graphics and call it a day. Despite its flaws for being old game, they are still fun to play.

all those weeks we heard rumors before the release of vs1 patch that what the patch will inclund and how better the vs 1 will be etc etc.
and after the release for many (not me ) the rumors became fact
now we have no news about offline modes simple cause we dont have any news? or because they has no plans for offline modes???????

Right but we're in the very early stages of how they're allocating the bonus qualification and what benefits it confers. I'm looking at their well established older practice on myClub and inferring as to how I think they'll use them in future.
The thing is that these bonuses don't offer any extreme benefits to the point where someone could say that i must use them at any cost or else i'm ruined..Even in myClub the only thing they did was that if you had three specific Featured players for example in your starting eleven who were only obtainable with coins you would get a small bonus of GP after the match..So instead of 1600 if you win you would get 2400 or something..And that was just for a specific event for 3-4 matches..It didn't occur in other normal ranked matches.

It's not a big deal and you would be just fine even without this bonus..Sometimes i remember having these Featured players that it asked for the bonus but i would not even use them because some other player would suit me better..ok i wouldn't get some 800 GP more but it was nothing big really..It's more of a ''ok you give us something..we're gonna give something back to you''..but it's not something super beneficial and you will be fine without it.There was also the Iconic Moments players kit bonus where you would get a +2 or 3 in his stats if you had that specific iconic legend like Vieira for example and you used Arsenal's kits but even that was just for some specific players and you couldn't use it for everyone at once because you would obviously have to change your kits for someone else to get the bonus etc.

And in eFootball the normal players that you get with GP can be even better that the Featured ones in some cases once you get them in high levels. For example the normal one could get to 20-30 level and be a 94 rated but the featured can only get to level 5-7 and be a 92.And with the normal one you can up his playstyle that suits you more comfortably because he has many levels but with the featured one who has much less levels you have to be more cautious with leveling up the playstyle because if you spend all the points on the playstyle then you won't have any to level up his stats. So if you can grind and get the normal ones then there is no real need to spend real money on coins and get the Featured ones.

Now if someone is opening packs like crazy and get all the legends they release every week then you can say that it's pay to win to a point but still that alone doesn't guarantee you the success. You also have to be good at the game. And the majority don't really spend like crazy and you can tell from their teams.Ok they can spend like 20-40 quid/euro through a year and that's it,i also spend around that amount but you can also have a good team without even spending.I've only spent 5 euro till now and i have already a good 2530 strength team. There are people who don't spend anything and don't have the craziest teams but they still doing great because they're good players. And there are others with great teams full of legends but they still struggle because they're not very good at the game.

So you could say that it's as pay to win as real life football..Real football is also pay to win..but that alone doesn't always guarantees you the success..Look at PSG and Man City..They're ''buying coins'' like crazy but they still bottle it in the Champions League lol.
