eFootball (All Platforms)

I have borrowed a PS5 from a friend.
efootball on PS5 looks and feels way better than on PC...
Graphics are better, photorealism is better, optimization as well.
I don't know why, but I have the feeling that the gameplay is smoother and more responsive (even if I connected the PS5 to a cheap 39'' monintor).
Compared to FIFA 22 on PS5, efootball feels like real football match. Fifa has better body collisions, awesome net physics, and its a complete game you can play offline. In gameplay terms, for me Efootball, especially on PS5, is the King...maybe of all time.

Just had a pic in mind, showing a little guy, on crutches, missing one leg and having one arm in a sling. Slowly he’s hobbling forward and it looks like he has lost his way. One of his eyes is blue and I see blood dripping from his left ear. Looking confused, the guy keeps on dragging himself forward and then I notice a teeny tiny crown shimmering on his head (a bit covered by the head bandage he’s wearing)!
And suddenly I realize… IT‘s DA KING!

You enjoy that software, floki, nothing personal, just a general comment from my side.
 
Offline time for more then a day on a live service game is crazy to me. Also the fact that season 2 starts that late in the game. The flow for us end users is massively disturbed

I mean I know it is Konami by now and yet im still suprised

This is the problem with efootball, the platform you play on all give a vastly different gameplay experience. I've played it on my PS4, Series S & PS5 & they are all different.

PS4 was shocking & to my surprise Series S isn't that great either & I deleted it immediately.

PS5 looks,moves & feels like a completely different game IMO, sure it's all based on the same code but the optimisation & fluitdy is much more polished. That's not to say the game looks great because I still think it's lacking graphically across the board. The subtle gameplay differences on each platform though are surely having an impact on people's perception of the game in general.

I honestly don't think I could play this for any length of time if it was on PS4 or Series S. Konami really need to polish those up.

Latest update is live & the game is even more of a shell than it was before. No online divisions now & it seems that'll be the case until the 14th of June. The same recycled J-League & American user events & a recycled Legend pack of Romario, Kahn & inzaghi along with those Nominating contract players which I'm sure have been extended another 10 days?

They built a little bit of momentum in the last month & have now completely sucked the life out of it in one fell swoop 🤣

Yes Konamis communication is never good. They write in their notes that they will add a lot of content players will like during that longer maintenance period. Wouldn't even surprise me if it is Offline modes and they just don't announce it, would fit their general communication.

"But it's free!" Except it isn't. They're making a fortune via the microtransactions, and now PES Mobile is about to become eFootball, which will give them another boost.

That said, interested to know if they manage to reduce any of the lag (I get that impression from the wording of their downtime announcement) and if they manage to fix quitters taking points off you.
 
From this I extract an interesting thing, I have seen on twitter (since I do not play) efootball league is over for a month maintenance to start season 2 so no more online division matches, this means and how I expected this from a 100% online game they have the full control over their modes and everything about efootball so I have some conclusions about this, there will not be modding since they are able to change game at the end of every seasons so most of the times if a mod is developped, this one would be useless at the end of a certain period time so there wont be long time mods (if there would be a modding efootball community) and they have full control of everything so they can put and put off modes and change gameplay everytime they want and as happened in fifa at the end gameplay will fit online players and dream team players destroying offline gameplay (something like happens in fifa with fut)
what is my conclusion? Konami is deseperate to copy fifa model, enpower efootball mobile community and enpower efootball as esports football official game. I am not susprised about all of this even if game were good they are still konami and we know how they are after a lot of years... so no hope a in a true next gen football game simulator and of course offline game modes will be completly ignored, just to see they will unlock "begginner difficulty" and "10 mins matches" instead of unlocking all difficult levels and time matches as great features. Konami has been always on that way they take out 15 modes and then they introduce one of them and they present us as a great feauture. Small company in terms of ideas and developping, as their name indicates in japanese language "konami" means small wave so they are "small company" too
