eFootball (All Platforms)

Again I am not saying a maintenance so long is good. :D

You guys are really always on the edge, thinking someone is immediately defending while completely missing the point, which in the end just was: Fortnite is not a good example. if League never goes offline than that would be a good example as an argument, but not Fortnite. That's all it was.

Funny how immediately it sets things in motion like a snowball if you think someone is "defending" the game.

Ok but two days is not a month right? here you can see how much they respect to the players spending their money
Also look what they have uploaded to steam cloud

YEAAAAAAH BOY!

They do not care online modes, they do not care players, they do not care offline, they just care about money and coins!
This season 1 has been a collection money operation after all

Are you playing mind games with me? The Thursday Maintaince= 1 day maintance in any game= 1 month hiatus, just 1 month right after the game launched????

Please tellme you're just trolling around..
No. the argument was if you are not 24/365 you shouldn't have things for paying and Fortnite was used as an example. And I just said Fortnite is not a good example for this since they also had longer downtimes for a couple of days and most have downtimes. So technically nearly no service game is available 24 hours 365 days a year. You guys then went in crazy "he is defending Konami" mode, even though I wasn't defending anything. it wasn't meant as a pro or con, just that I don't think it was the best example.

Ok, here it is how it goes for me.. Fortnite, or LoL, or Pubg, name it whatever you like, is just the tree.

The forest is that, KONAMI has entered in a state, that they cannot support at all, as they have proven all those years.

A little example, it usually takes them 1~1,5 month to fully update winter transfers and 2~3 months to fix a bug with new Datapack.. How will they keep up with such a demanding project, with such a bad backstory.

That's my personal view, and i am sharing it since the begining.

Well this is then a different discussion and yes it will be interesting to see how they can keep up with the content, since content is king in a live service game. Since nearly every live service game has maintenance times and also longer times for updates, these usually must bring a great content update to keep the players engaged. Konami needs to prove they can do that with new content, interesting events and modes and so on. And like you said they need to improve in that part a lot given their history.

Because this is where the problem lies: it is not maintenance or offline times, the problem is the content and what they will deliver.

in greeks we have a word KONOMI which means the person you want to earn money with any cost (deception or any other ways) fast
so i refrase the KONAMI to KONOMI
it fits better

I reported a graphical bug from pes 21, they fixed in a update and then after final update (1.07.01 DP) bug is still there, I do not report anymore I know I will not be listen since their "focus" is on ef2022

Ironically, a version of eFootball in which the casino mode is disabled and 10-minute matches offline with real teams are enabled is, to me, a better version of the game

Can we campaign Konami to extend their maintenance period at all? Maybe a month or so. Might actually play it a bit then.

I have borrowed a PS5 from a friend.
efootball on PS5 looks and feels way better than on PC...
Graphics are better, photorealism is better, optimization as well.
I don't know why, but I have the feeling that the gameplay is smoother and more responsive (even if I connected the PS5 to a cheap 39'' monintor).
Compared to FIFA 22 on PS5, efootball feels like real football match. Fifa has better body collisions, awesome net physics, and its a complete game you can play offline. In gameplay terms, for me Efootball, especially on PS5, is the King...maybe of all time.
I play on PC on a with a GTX1070 and an i7 from 7 years ago and it runs a smooth 60fps, even in replays/cut-scenes, but you need to use the resolution scaler in the screen options in the main menu. I read on one of the modding sites that although you don't really see it, Unreal Engine 4 does use performance sapping AA, and of course the dev team likely haven't fully optimised. Even on hardware that you would think would brute force 4k apparently still requires using the scaler for best performance.

The scaler works really well though as a result. I have it at 85% of 1080p and image very clear with the res drop not that noticeable and everything looking and running smooth.

Coinami can eat a bag of salty rat dicks. These fuckers continue to piss off their fan base. Every. Single. Time. They even pissed off the ones who were praising this shitty mess of a game. Efootball subreddit feeling salty after Coinami pulled the rug from under them. lmao server maintenance with nothing but trial matches in beginner mode lmao :LMAO::LMAO::LMAO::LMAO:

is not free if a have to pay in order to have decent players if a want to be competitive.
so if a have pay even 1euro i have any right to be demanding
Yes it is free..And no you don't HAVE to do shit..No one is forcing you..
There are people in Division 1 who have put zero money in the game and they don't have the craziest teams but they're still doing good because they're good at the game..And there are people who put money and have better teams but they won't go to Division 1 because they're not good enough at the game..

« all i wanna say is that they don't really care about us »🕺

Seems clear they don't want to release anything until August for offline for the new 'Season 2'

Very disappointing. feel like I need to optimize my laptop to get rid of the framerate drops and explore the PC version.

I still cannot be fucked still to buy that failure of a console the PS5. Still no must have games worthy to buy this thing. Just optimized PS4 games

Where to begin with the rampant individualism here...

Games used to be refuge for people away from (among other things) gambling, away from problematic habits. Now many gamers barely have a choice and can no longer use this medium as a relatively exploitation-free form of recreation. If you're into sports games at all, along with FPS games and a host of other genres, you're funnelled into microtransaction-heavy, lootbox-laden modes. "jUsT cHoOsE tO dO sOmEtHiNg ElSe" is a line as bereft of compassion as it is sense.

People deserve better. As do children btw, introduced to these exploitative game mechanics and revenue models without having anything like an informed understanding of the risks. Because they're children.

As for your catastrophising examples: no, we shouldn't ban alcohol, but we should be careful about who we sell it to – e.g., not to children, and not in pubs and shops to very drunk people (note: these prohibitions already exist, crazy isn't it?). We shouldn't "ban movies or music", but we do have a ratings system to stop children seeing stuff that isn't appropriate for them (while we sell gambling to children through games).

The analogy is off though – the relevant idea here is not that of a theme or element in games which inspires bad behaviour (always a dubious claim in the case of film anyway); it's rather that the game itself is the mechanism of exploit: it directly facilitates the problematic behaviour and transacts it. Kind of like a film that only let you watch more of it if you committed violence against strangers. That would be a better comparison. And yeah, in which case: ban that.

I didn't say that they cared not at all for their product. The quality of their product often does take a nosedive or isn't top of the list of concerns for games that are raking in money through lootboxes and other predatory microtransactions though. The list is a long one of games that even pretty recently released buggy and shit, and the pressures to release early and crunch reflect problems in the industry that go beyond its predatory monetisation models. And yeah, some buck the trend in terms of the kind of game (Cyberpunk e.g.) here, but a substantial majority are GaaS: frontloaded with MTX before solid content, because they know they can generate revenue while fixing stuff on the fly, even rebranding their stability improvements, bugfixes, and completing missing parts as new milestones on the "roadmap".
It's not a game exclusively made for children..It's not Spongebob..They're football games and they are played by millions of adults all over the world even 50+ year olds..These people have the freedom of choice to do whatever they want with their money and no one has any business telling them what they should or shouldn't be doing..What if someone likes the game so much that for whatever reasons he wants to give something back and support the product/company/devs financially? It's a free to play game so he can't buy it..And he can't buy any skins or special kits or whatever like in other games because they're not in..The only way he can support financially is by coins..It's a choice and it's there if he wants to use it..but no one is putting a gun at his head..

Children can't buy coins since they don't own credit cards..Only their parents can do it for them and if they think that it's wrong then they shouldn't do it..And it's your responsibility as a parent to have a trusting relationship with your kid and parenting them well so they won't do any stupid shit like disobey you and stealing your credit card behind your back or something..Kids are exposed to everything these days..Porn,explicit lyrics and movies, social media, bullying at school etc..You can't make them live in a bubble and shelter them from everything because that will have even worse results..What you can do is teach them about how to handle all these things and earn their trust so if they have any issues they will share them with you..If you don't do your job and your relationship with your kid is all over the place..then you can't always put the blame on others if something happens..

Some years ago i was saying the same..''Coins are bad blah blah.." At that point i started playing online..Nowadays i don't really care..It wouldn't make a difference to me to how much time i spend at the game if there was coins in the game or not..But since they're in i don't mind it that i have the option to use them if i want from time to time..Also i don't see how using coins is closer to ''a film that only let you watch more of it if you committed violence against strangers''..Really..? That's fucked up lol..I guess i'm a criminal..

Anyway..i'm not here for any coins debates since i don't really care about them and if they're in or not..It wouldn't make a difference to me so i don't have any reason to support it or not..But since it's a free to play game..i guess the only option for them is to be in..Me replying in the first place was to tell you that these bonuses that you said is not a big enough reason for someone to spend..No one will spend just to get some more gp from a match..And it's not even in the game anyway until now at least..The bonuses that are now in are obtainable from any common players..I was looking at Reddit the other day and i've seen posts of people hitting Division 1 with normal squads who haven't spent anything..Buying coins and having super squads won't save you if you're not good at the game..

Not defending them, because I too disagree with a lot of their decisions, but the "game" is free and they are not obligated to offer you services for free. In addition to that you're not factoring major world issues during the last 2 years. In EVERY aspect of life, and these issues and challenges are still going on somehow.
It's like saying "that restaurant is cap they gave me free food and I accepted it and it was disgusting. I'll sue them" 😁
But my point is: Announcing they are offering the 2 aforementioned options as if they've gone about it with any labour when, those two options have been there all along as we know on the PC build and all really they're doing is flicking as switch to make those options visible to the public is what's hilarious and shameful at the same time.

Paid optional currency in a F2P game is normal and i don't hold it against Konami for doing it. It's just i feel that people spending money on a barebones game is counter productive, since it doesn't give them incentive to actually improve their game, since people are willing to spend their cash on a unfinished turd of a product. Not to mention their massive incompetency and general disconnect from their fan base, i wouldn't say they deserve a single cent from me. Just because something is free, it's not immune to criticism. If you're going to release a product, then do it right or just don't release it at all

A-fucking-men.

They must be laughing right now. All the delays, all the cock-ups, the dreadful communication. Yet - thanks to one pretty basic game mode - they're winning hearts and wallets.

The most disappointing is that they care only for the 50% of the clients . Put the correct percentage by your self . But they do not care for a paid offline dlc. And that is a fact..

I really think the main problem is there are not subdivisions of PES productions in europe, all important decisions and marketing choices are comming from JAPAN and konami as japanese company is really tight so everything is decided there and their mentality is too different to mentality here in europe and thats one of the reasons his marketing is so bad

Anyone can explain what the teamstyle ratings mean for the Manager? 87 possession vs 75 possessions? The higher one boosts the player stats more or what?

If this was literally a free game for the sake of a free game then, yeah - you can't complain, but once you start asking for or encouraging customers to spend money, than the domain becomes open to critique and criticism.

Conversely, this is why we keep getting unfinished games, because we've taught company's we will buy them on day 1 and we dignify them rushing them out.

I read earlier that the GTA Remastered Trilogy, also botched at launch has ‘significantly exceeded expectations’ with up to 10m sales. So yeah, People will buy it so publishers take it for granted. This is why we can't have finished games anymore.
