eFootball (All Platforms)

It is known for quite some time that form is dynamically adjusted during a match. Positively as well as negatively. You can now negate the negative momentum by having only players with form "unwavering". Fighting Spirit additionally creates positive momentum when behind in addition to less attribute reduction duo to no stamina.

In PVP, If you lose connection during a match, the match gets abandoned, but you lose that match by default. How the fuck is this even possible?

When it comes to fouls, the refs are so damn inconsistent in this game. You step on a toe, you get carded. You hit a player in the face with your hand, it gets ignored.

I know you're an avid believer in scripting and nothing I say will convince you otherwise. But perhaps it's worth being aware that not everyone believes in it (or would define it in a way that describes your experience as one of scripting). So it's not "clearly" the case haha. There's enough variance in our experience of games, opponents, connection qualities, and randomness on the pitch (God knows there's enough of that!) to explain your contrast of experiences between the two types of match.
what i call "scriting momentum whatever" its just the way difficulty its implemented in coinami games

its that feeling that some play its going to happen regardless of any user input one way or another

also pass assist can totally breaks the game and skill gap so...

but yeah it doesnt exist "haha"
edit: would love to see the haha explaining kickoff goals or end of half goals

All the severe lag I've had using the PS4 version was those i choose to play who had less than 5 bars. I can chop in and out but this game even in North America plays smoothly most of the time.
All my games are with 5 bars and all of them with very bad lag. Even offline is very bad on ps4. It seems like 15 fps

Weird i havent had issues with the connectivity so far. Either im searching for nearby area or late at night gradually increasing the search. I would say it is offline experience or any delay is incremental. Might be down to my location and the service in this region?

The feeling of inevitability is just you predicting something will happen; it's not evidence of something in the game itself but of a feeling within you. Unsurprisingly.

PA is bollocks, yes.

Unsure about your last comment. KO goals are a curse, but hardly evidence of scripting, just people being win-at-all-costs bums and bad defensive AI unable to deal with it.

Yes, there's the player emotions system that (among other things) influences the in-game stats of players, such as when they miss chances or do a bad foul – affecting their stats +1 or -1. But the "unwavering" stat I'm pretty sure just comes from the renaming of the form numeric system, previously 1-8. In this case, unwavering would be the equivalent of 8. (Or near equivalent: I don't know how many categories there are in the renamed system.) This only concerns the likelihood of a particular arrow for a whole match (not within a match) given the condition rating (A, B, C, D, etc.) they have.

Is any where some like map for dribbling in this version without have to see video . Just text something like instructions?

For foot accuracy and use are 4 for form and injury are 3 specially in form that is very curious (unwavering, standard, inconsistent) only

It take time to me why the new attributes system is up to 90 and not like previous at 99.
Cause dream team mode which via training you can train your player up to 99. Once more this game saw to us that is only for this mode. That and Kimura interview in which he didn’t know when will be a master league make me very skeptical about the future of this title .

I absolutely slated this game when it came out, and rightly so. re-donloaded it yesterday and im impressed, liking the new mode, being able to build my team without scouts, obviosly the game has a way to go yet, but im back on board.

Maybe a dumb question but are the dream team ai matches technically online? The reason I ask is because the input delay in those matches is very much like that experienced in a PVP match.

"What remains is still a hollow shell of a football game that lacks depth, modes, and any real reason to play it consistently"

4.0 BAD

4.0 Reviewed on PS5, he should try it on PC aswell, i wonder how many score he's given

I have tried playing again, and is unplayable for me bad graphics constant drops of FPS, pixelated, slow reactions in my PC, no offline modes, just unplayable
This game need you to have double the hardware power to run it fine. Very technically unoptimized but IMO the gameplay is good overall.

Why is it so difficult to defend immediately after scoring online?. I'm not talking about the kick off goals as such but more the amount of times I concede to the opposition just walking through my entire team within a few seconds of the restart?

It's like to they've been handicapped for small amount of time. Really frustrating

Its lacking content. What shocking news. Finally we are aware. :LMAO:
I think you miss the point of a review, in your salty eagerness to deflect criticism from eFootball these days. The purpose is to inform would-be players about the quality and experience of a particular game. Someone coming across that review thinking about trying out eFootball would be more informed about it now, finding out that it does indeed lack content.

Would be players? On this forum? Really? :LMAO:
You posted a review of one of the most basic gaming journalist site, just to have today's "how badly Janguv dislikes this game" post of yours.
Which is fine, but then also fine to make fun of it. Chin up if you go into the ring mate. You are taking disliking this game waaay too seriously, enough to look at the past 10 pages, biting into everyone who likes it even a bit.

It's rather you that is taking liking this game too seriously – literally liking any positive comment about the game and getting incredibly defensive about negative takes. It's exactly what the phrase "toxic positivity" was coined for. Obnoxious.

As for the review – I shared it here as a point of interest for people who follow this game franchise and are interested in its broader reception. That's a long tradition in these threads, as I'm sure you are aware. Reviews get posted, and often commented on – not to inform each other about the game, but to get a measure of the press about it.

I do think it's interesting that the reviewer chose the words and rating he did. E.g. I very much concur with this perspective:

No lies were told in that review.

I find interesting that IGN of all people are more honest with this game than some of those within the efootball/PES YouTube community.

It definitely tells you something. Incidentally, it got shared in /r/eFootball and some of the replies slated the guy as "clearly an offline player". Even though he was criticising, among other things, the paucity of content on Dream Team.

Only saying what I see.

And had it been a positive review that told us nothing new: hand on heart, would you have called out the person posting it, castigating them for telling us nothing we didn't already know? May you have even liked the content?

I think you know the answer.

Just noticed… the more I play, the more children get lost in the stadium! 😳
On that note: I wish you could turn off the stadium announcer, or change the language. I like the new stadium audio setting but the announcement stuff gets very repetitive quickly.

Only saying what I WANT TO see.

Fixed it for you.
