Close to uninstalling it. The chief motivating factor is: it's an online-only game, and everyone online is a cunt.

Had a not so extreme opponent myself. Chicharito anchor man new meta. He lost 5-0. Anyway There's a decent barebones game somewhere in there. I've been playing for a bit, with only R.Carlos as my legend and 300k starting GP, and can hold myself pretty well in div4 atm. Legends are a problem, and there's an OBVIOUS boost to their abilities, especially with CFs inside the penalty box. You can pretty much see if he's gonna score or not, and 9/10 times he will, either with Forlan Romario or Inzaghi.Just went up against a tactical genius

Really like this clip, and love some of the build-up play that leads to the goals (and the dribbling he's capable of doing, which I am absolutely not). Reminds me of why I keep trying the game again.
However, I'm also realising that the amount of goals going in per game is starting to climb fairly quickly, and the majority of shots on target are goals. Also, possession is always close to 50/50 in the games I've played and also in the games I've watched via Twitch etc., very rarely does a team dominate possession. I reckon that's due to the effectiveness of constant pressing.
I'd say 30% are c**ts
30% are just kids
Biggest fault of this game yet is the defensive workrate of Beckham and Nakata. Those players never ever tackled anyone IRL.
I'll be kind and say: a good number of the people on there play like cunts, rather than simply are outright cunts. A distinction without a difference when you're on there though.I'd say 30% are c**ts

and the rest are decent players who like us just want to sit down and chill.
If your half decent sadly you run into a lot of c**ts!

I remember when I first joined a 1v1 league (ProEvoNetwork), prompted by the sweaty win-at-all-costs myClub crap. I'd had enough. And then in my friendly games before getting a league spot, a couple things were being pointed out to me by league members about what I was doing on-pitch – things I just hadn't considered as problematic before, because I had evolved how I played in the myClub environment.
I was never as twattish as these knobs who bumrush you when you're taking a goal kick, who go a goal up and pass along the back line, who do kick off glitch goals, etc. But still, it goes to show that you can pick up bad habits from that lot even if you consciously aim not to be a prick. So yes, there are plenty of people on there who aren't childish morons, but who nonetheless have picked up some rather annoying ways of playing and unreflectively keep doing it.
I query your percentage of kids playing though; almost all are playing FIFA if they're playing any football game.
Ok it was me who after going 2-0 up just passed the ball around.
Also did this other nasty thing.
See I can associate with this. I used to very much enjoy rubbing it in, if I came across somebody being a scumbag and managed to get one over on them. But these days, I just think it's a really hollow victory. It just underscores how the whole enterprise lacks a sense of good sportsmanship. Leaves you wanting a shower. One other point, I'm ruthless when it comes to opponents being scumbags, i'm gonna pretty much go out of my way to be as assholish to them as possible, like running across the whole pitch when scoring and not skipping anything. The moment they start abusing kickoffs and stupid celebrations it's on. It's something of a therapy thing. It might be stupid but it's the best way you combat online gaming assholes. I always skip it and I'm not bothered if he genuinely wants to see the celebration, but you can just see when someones doing it on purpose.
I do it after every game, shake my own hands congratulating for the win.
- If you do do that sort of thing – faff around with the ball at the back exploiting the game mechanics that don't allow teams to properly recover the ball – have a word with yourself.
That sentence is exactly what i said when i left online. I wasn't loosing, but just can have a normal experience on a 10 minutes match.
I, we could relate tons of example.
>Like you won 3-0 at the 20'.
And the guy start to make own goals after own goals, and as it's the one who scored that choose who push the button to pass the "cutscene" : so the guy let the cutscene from the start to the end at every goal. So you have to wait, and wait and wait.
Sometimes it works for them, the real winner quit the game as the other just want to play or got a work and don't have that much time to enjoy a bit the game per day. Etc.
That's the purpose of it.
Less worst scenario, doing sombrero and not playing anymore after loosing 3 or 4 to 0. And scoring own goal, doing funny things etc.
But there's no purpose, just that he lost and want to have fun in another way. Just don't want to quit, that's all. Personally i was doing like him and sometimes we got funny things. But it's not what i call playing and it's a lower cunt level but cunt as well to me.
Edit: so friendly online match with people you know or nothing.
I ain't against an Evo-web league or Cup if you do one and there's a DLC's with Friendlies, Divisions and others leagues mode.
But DreamTeam vs unknown guys, it's a no.
You got it the more you're up in Division and won... Not the case on lower divisions. They just quit and that's all. Well, i didn't carried that much about it when i encountered an opponent far too weak and he quitted ASAP to be honest lolThankfully no such experience like that yet.

In June. Efootball Championship. Is there any info when next-update might come, and what it might include ??
I wouldn't be opposed to an online only game if there were strict rules and consequences for players who break the rules. Some games have a system where if you do any funny shit during online play, you lose points, attributes, currency or something important to that matters to you in the game.Close to uninstalling it. I have played against you, and it was fun. You are a pretty nice player with a lot of variety in playstyle. Nice to see that people like you are able to get to Division 1 without any exploits used. CongratzView attachment 157650View attachment 157654
Finally had the time to spend a full day playing. No kick-off glitches, no exploits used, no strange formations: Just 4-3-3 and playing like IRL football with crosses, dribbling and passes. Whatever made the most sense. Compared to PES21 where you are forced to play a very certain way in defense (press + block pass ways) and a clear meta offense (ping pong through balls) to reach black badge, this is fresh air.
Now I will just spend my time creating a <24 year old youngsters team!
eFootball future is bright. I can see Konami improving on this solid base and create the best simulation in the coming 1-3 years.
