eFootball (All Platforms)

Where are the official update for all the club and national teams?

We are hungry and angry now  Give teams asap.
There was a guy here who refused to play the game because it was limited to 30 fps during cutscenes... Was it you?
If it was you (I know you're deeply into the graphic side of the game so it might indeed be you), have you changed your mind and are you willing to give this another try when (or, well, if ever) the "full team list" update gets released?

No.

Unless they fix both the cutscenes, lods and full teams.

And yes, 30 fps? Uninstalled righter after I figured that out.

I share this sentiment, both me and my dad have a hard time playing eFootball, even though we've tried to force ourselves to like it, afterall, this is PES now, but it's just not happening. I'd be able to be more forgiving of it, and maybe even enjoy it somewhat, if I could play as the club I support, which still hasn't been added, which is ridiculous because Brazil is one of their main markets and there are less than a dozen Brazilian clubs at the moment, when are they going to drop this update? I shouldn't even bother really, even if it does drop I still won't be able to do anything with the club I support other than play friendlies, and even if they release the offline modes it'll be paid DLC, which I would be willing to pay for in a finished product, but not here, no chance at all.

Update to include all the teams should have been their no. 1 priority and should have been in the game within the first month.

This shit is still a fucking demo at this point.

I play PES games every year since ISS PRO 98. I have played about 200 online matches of eFootball 2022 on PS4 PRO, a lot of them during the last weeks, you can see the stats attached. It's been really difficult but I finally have learned the new controls, the key to enjoy the game is the combination of the left stick and the ball touch control. It's important to learn to play the game and don't play it like PES games. I like the physical defending and I'm looking forward to see the future "sharp kick".

I play without passing assistance. In offline games I play on the hardest difficulty level. I think the gameplay it's great and the level of freedom with the new controls is amazing. Once you get used to the new controls you can enjoy the game much more than PES games. It's s big step towards realism in football games.

I agree. The amount of freedom you have is excellent. The only thing it's missing is that AI defenders should react to opponents right next to them even when you don't control them. It looks silly when the opponent just walks past them and they watch. This would make all these "easy" goals in the box harder. And also bring back Physical Defending (without the glitches) from 0.9.0. There is also AI press when you play Quick Counter. CMFs and DMFs will actively attack the player from behind when he is between defenders and midfield. This should be the standard on all tactics. Sharp kicks are interesting but I'd rather have Advanced Shooting. Nothing beats the amount of control you have with it. I miss just beating the ball with 150km/h into the net.

Yes, the weak shoots made me to quit EFootball 2022

I agree i have started to really enjoy this game after my first bad impression. and I often play many more games than intended.
But i also curse the ai defenders. Most of my goals i let in is because of slow switching or no reacting from ai.
But otherwise i have had lots of exciting and close games that just wants me to play one mor 🙂

The ai defenders are very passive inside the box like practice cones. You have to select the player and close down the attacker manually. With the one on one thing, we are getting little help from the ai

Fortunately I have so many good games left on my pile of shame, I do not miss this crap of a football game. I bought fifa22 in the meantime for 20€ and after a week I even did not play it anymore as well.
Storydriven games are much more satisfying for me currently.
Before I ever touch eFootball again, I will try to reach maximum soullevel in demon's souls remake... 😂

Some of those scenes look pretty decent....with a LOT of tweaks maybe this game could end up playable after all.

Waiting for the big patch and will try the game again after that. Last time I played the graphics and controls were so bad I turned off and uninstalled the game after 10 minutes :CONF:
Yes the graphics and controls are bad. I only get the hang of the controls after 90+ hours on the game. Momentum and inertia are big factors to control the players and you have to predict the movement of the opponent too or you will get skinned.
Also the shooting is abysmal its almost impossible to score a long range goal. Interception is unnatural like the ball is magnetized to the player's leg who intercept the pass. Defenders dont track/mark the opponent inside danger area.
With that being said, there are still good things about the game. I like the shape of the teams with less spaces which can make the match cagey and less end to end. The AI also is quite good and they do dribble.

Playing this game feels exactly like playing those online matches with 200+ ms ping on previous games. The amount of delay in movements.

i will not play the game even with all teams etc. the weak shoots are killing the fun. No screamer goals with "wow" effect but i think this will never change
We already know there will be sharp kicks, which will be their version of screamer depending on if your player has the rising shots or dipping shots skill. I sitll hope Advanced shooting will make a comeback though.

Also sometimes it works:

How was physical defending in 0.9.0? I didn't try the game until November.

Been playing for a month on this in full manual, online. I too am starting to like it quite a bit. Games I had issues with were against the high assistance level (ping ponging), and maybe games against opponents that didn't have good connection.

From a gameplay perspective, there's way more of a midfield game than previous years, tbh. And liking a lot the momentum stuff, as someone a few post above mine has mentioned.

Player identity is a bit bland so far. Animations sometimes don't blend well. And other cosmetic issues. Shouldn't be difficult to improve on it, hopefully.

Physical Defending in 0.9.0 was like in real life when defenders use their hands and shoulders to slow down or tackle. A defender would pull at the attacker or outright tackle him to the side. Unfortunately the collisions weren't clean and they would clip inside each other. Also the attacker would never lose balance and fall down even when you use it way too much and it's a clear foul - this resulted in players skating around. If the attacker would just drop down and fall, it would've worked great.

Do u have a clip of these animations somewhere? So the shirt pull and tackle from the side are automated when holding L2..?

This description reminds me a bit of PES14, those animations went missing in every year after lol. There were physical defensive commands hidden in the R-stick back then:

- R-stick single flick (in direction of opponent ball carrier) = one elbow nudge
- R-stick double flick (in direction of opponent ball carrier) = one shoulder barge, using full body weight (likely foul).
- R-stick tilt and hold (in direction of opponent ball carrier) = continuous pressure, push, tug....(being a nuisance lol)

I hope they put all those defensive options back into the game, looks like they are trying to now with the L2, X, R2 commands. But I thought it was more manual on the R-stick
