It takes time to get your code through the approval process of each platform (PlayStation, Xbox etc.). You submit it as soon as you feel comfortable with the state of it, so that when the release date comes around, it's already been approved (and if not, you've had time to fix it).What I don't understand is, if people tested a version of the game that is in a better state than the one we are currently playing then why doesn't Konami release it? It doesn't make any sense what ever way you look at it.
It didn't break any consoles, so it got the thumbs up from the platform owners (that's all they really care about).
On Konami's side, they only cared about hitting that release date, and getting something out there when people were buying FIFA, to give them an alternative.
As for the advanced build - either that will be the next released version (Oct 28th), or, if it's not, they've had to backtrack due to code issues introduced by some of the new features...
