How there can be anyone with any shred of open-mindedness or positivity over what we've seen and more importantly what we haven't seen... Beyond me.
 
IF Master League happens - you just know it will be terrible. How many stadiums? Two? Every match at Old Trafford and the PES Arena or whatever it’s called?

Who honestly thinks Konami will spend time and money getting new stadia ready for a mode they couldn’t give a shit about anymore?

I don’t trust them at all. They honestly couldn’t care less about the single player gamer. They want kids playing against each other on their mobile phones, comparing the special edition Messi they’ve bought with dad’s credit card.

Anyone who is still looking forward to Master League in eGamble 2022 is going to be very, very disappointed. If you’ve got to play PES Master League, buy a good PC, install PES 2021 and a Virtua Red patch and you’ll have way more fun.

Or if a PC is not feasible for you, buy an old Xbox 360 or a PS3, pick up PES 2013 for a few quid and play that. Again, you’ll have far more fun than you ever will with eFootball. Unless Konami surprise us all. But who, hand on heart, can see that happening?

It would be ok for me playing ML on PES 2021 if it wasnt the same ML for, let me think, the last 3 or 4 years .

I've chosen to believe it will be a new and fresh Master League because this mode was "dead" on the last versions.

We need a completly new mode, with new objectives, more things to do, more immersive features, etc.

I cant stick with ML the way it is right now. It's not funny anymore :/

I think that people just said that this was not how it would look on new gen systems on official release day. This was clearly a beta for the new game. It doesn't really matter how the beta played or looked for a game that will hopefully be improved on over time. I feel confident in saying that beta will be considerably inferior to what we see in 2 week's time... For the PS5 at least anyway.

That's what i believe too. Aswell as they ported stuff from Fox to Unreal. The mode status btw, i can't tell but i suppose it will be pretty basic.
But i don't know if i'm authorised to say or think that. It's too "positive", sorry in advance.

How are you equating a "free-to-play" mobile game being sold on next-gen consoles (after a hiatus and the promise of something truly special), with "you can't take your next-gen console on the bus"?

You don't have to. You don't need a next-gen console to play it. That's the point.

There's "keeping an open mind" because this is the only PES we're getting (and possibly the last one we'll get) - which is fair enough - and there's bending over backwards to defend a company that have pretty much admitted they couldn't give a shit about long-time fans because we don't hand over myClub money (see Adam Bhatti's tweets).
 
I didn't saw that Myclub money reference, only the "new crowd" (even some of the "old" was spending money on Myclub)

(already explained my situation : Pesuniverse is linked with them, i'm not Pesuniverse anymore, and even when i was the last 2 years only the "guys above" were a bit linked with Konami, without really working for them i prefers to mention. I could say "Fuck Konami" on my account, they've got nothing to reproch to me as they NEEDED my exports)

They're all too confusing. I can't really hire at all conclusions about what they will / or not / do in the future. Mode = DLC = money.
That's a reason i believe there will be modes on DLC. It's not super hard to create or port from an old version and can be lucrative. But for the rest... Gameplay, cross-gen and potential future... All we know is that there's an CPU AI to play against, some here told "you really think there will be a CPU? It's online only". Well one Q/A answered, but too much Q remaining.

It's like even them aren't sure what to do in fact. Like they don't have real plans, just ideas

Knowing that they will release an half-made game, i don't thrust a word about "demo" and "real game" on mid-november from their point of view : that's excuses for buying packs (even if i still believe the game should got a big patch in some month after the release), well i should have preferred them to be HONEST and tells what really happens and release it later. Simply. But that's not in Japanese mentality, they've got their proud and i respect it.
Just that sometimes, you got to put your pride behind and tell the thruth.
We will knows what happened. But they're promoting the game now, they just can't tell the thruth in the same time, or they will lose thrust and also illusion effect > so they will loose money.
But later, they will have to tell what happened : if the game fails completely, or if the game got success and they will told (or someone who will left the office will told) the thruth, if the game don't have anything to add and will be complete.

And i'm sorry if on my preferences, i liked PES 2010 graphics more than any PES they released after, and it's looking like PES 2010 Lighting : so a bit better than the previous ones to me. Neither, i can't told 100% sure, gameplay only, that the game is above PES 2021. That's a matter of taste.
Aswell as i hate the UI with all my heart, i still don't believe they will keep it. But of course.... There will be theme on DLC.
And like i said before, if the DLC cost too much, i'll go to Kimura official account (edited) and ask him to dismiss. And ask the same to Konami official account. With a polite tone, but i can be really menacing if i want.

I saw more unpredictable stuffs like @The_Knight mentionned, but i can't be sure it's because there's missing stuffs in the game which makes the ball more free, or if it's really intentionnal. And controller in hands, i can't say how i will feel about everything / remember well, that's one reason i don't like Fifa, controller in hands i can't feel what i'm doing, Fifa don't got a sports logic but an EA sports logic : as it's the same on their others games, but much more pronounced in FIFA. UFC is another case.

Yeah, i remember the time to untuck shirt myself on PS2, i didn't know editors, and i don't remember if there was function about untuck all shirt (then you check the rare players with shirt in the short, Rivaldo for example)
Wasn't a version, that during the match, the shirt "untucked" naturally during the game? Hmmm if i remember, it was on PES 2008 or on that era, not sure if it was there before on PES 6. It was a feature i remember well, but didn't pay attention while playing.
Only the dirty shirt after a tackle, a fall etc., really good details, there was a lots of it to the immersion on the pitch.

Only for PES 5 at the time, i used a super good OF, Watson last version if i remember, we did leagues with it. Then another for Winter transfers.
At the time, no patch available for PES5, in fact you can check : there's very rare patch for PES so Euro version.

But a tons for Winning eleven on PS2 / first a language translation then a full kits/emblem/names patch, but i don't remember a single one for PES 5 at the time it was out : probably far later., i don't remember if it was Watson O.F. last version but i think,, he already did that work.

Have a look at his post history, it’s all super fanboy stuff. Plus, Alan always makes a Scottish team related username. At least be less obvious!

I don’t mind positivity, but blindly sticking up for a franchise or company regardless of quality of the product is just bizarre.

They all seem to come out this time of year when the next PES is about to launch.
