eFootball (All Platforms)

Positives:

* Continuous play looks nice

* Teams coming out before kickoff & after halftime looking good.

* CPU Ai showing some promising signs of using skill to beat a man

* Game Pace looks decent with weight & momentum to players

* Player models & kits look good

Negatives:

*Crowd looks awful

*Game looks a bit unresponsive (PES 14 vibes)

*Graphically poor although much better than NFG stability test

* Sound doesn't seem great

* Definitely not a next-gen looking football game

* Player awareness looks really bad

* Collisions look clunky

Looks better than I expect it, to be fair and I expect it to be really bad, not better than PES 2021, and don't look like next-gen , but is not that much worst. Animations are not great but ... it's way better than FIFA 22.

Well at least this footage takes me back to the old days of pre release, off screen footage we'd analyse of some guy who's clearly never played a football game before in his life.

No matter how bad you are expecting it to be you somehow still get the same thrill when you see that link to the first gameplay video. It's like my brain hasn't factored in the last 12 years of history and still triggers the same dopamine hit as it would have back in the day.

Having watched it I was happy to see some clear differences to 2021, despite the fact it's obviously still largely Fox Engine under the hood. Motion Matching is really rough around the edges, it almost feels like players aren't fully in control of their bodies. Limbs are randomly glitching out when players are standing still. There was one moment where Pogba ran to the ball and actually ran past it because he couldn't sort his direction out. But bugs and weird stuff happening is what I want to see because it implies change and new tech. Is it just me that gets a bit of a PES 2014 vibe from this footage? You can almost see the responsiveness issues without the pad in your hand, I have a feeling this is going to get absolute slaughtered by the MyClub crowd.

Visually it's an absolute dumpster fire. The shooting is still basic and overly familiar. I feel like a 0-0 is actually the best way to showcase this game because everything about goal scoring is inevitably going to be so lacklustre. I noticed too many of the same old AI issues, running the ball out of play, pointless first time/weak foot shots etc. I like the inertia and PES 2014 feel of the movement/weightiness, but I suspect the most promising aspects of this build will eventually be patched into oblivion leaving something akin to the deformed stepbrother of PES 2021.

At least you can't just go through the back of someone:

The leaked gameplay footage looks okay and better than what I expect. But the turf (color of the turf + not so 3D) looks horrible and color scheme of the game (blue and yellow) looks awful.

To be fair though the graphics where captured on a phone (most likely) and YouTube does automatically compress videos

Ok, i've seen the whole thing.

Animation is still clunky and not smooth, it's a bit remind me of PES 2015
I don't like the constant zoom-in

04:12 : EMS is wide open, he could've shot that from outside the box
07:12 : Did they bring back that stupid low cross ? god i hope not
10:36 : Look at Smith-Rowe, AI finally try to hold & dribble inside the box no more 1-2 second touch & pass.

Honestly, this game has potential but still incomplete. Idk what difficulty this guy play and i hope it's not superstar. Looks like this game is playing in PS4 rather than Next-Gen, crowd looks shite tho ?
Looks more interesting than i thought, ball seems much more free

Graphically really bad of course, Turf would be so important to get right, the Player Models look great

The ice skating is insane, that alone is such a big turn off. Also player awareness of the ball seems totally broken.
Two years developing this? By the look of it they need two years more to show something considered decent.
At present state I have a hard time calling calling it even a alpha version, this is not ready to be shown to the public.

The frame rate issues towards the end of that second video are unbelievably bad.

On a more positive note, their seems to be quite a bit of error to passing & shooting. I won't utter the iconic phrase but the ball does looks quite free 🤭

Another one. This shows clearly, that the game sure has responsiveness issues. It’s like you are playing online with a really bad connection. The guys playing don’t help too since they clearly don’t know what they are doing.
