eFootball (All Platforms)

The most important thing is the result of the tricks triggered.. control being easy is fine and why not as long as stats still matters and timing required to make the tricks successful.
I don't agree. Simply because one stick is not enough, even with modifiers, to trigger that kind of dribbling in that moment, more even when the modifying button is shared with dashing.

If game features RS dribblings, I might give it a chance. If not, a big nope.

Yes, we're talking about double pressing. Normal pressing is still there (hopefully)
But if you decided to choose Pirlo and press all the match with him : it remains the same, my example was about player you don't have direct control.

You can always found a contradiction a + and a - in every choice. Sometimes more + than - sometimes the opposite.

What was, in PES 2020 demo (only demo?), the solution for not spamming the double/triple pressing? I don't remember at all.

Well on PES 2021 i don't found pressing as much effective as it was before on higher difficulty, i got to tackle more (standing, but also sliding). And double pressing is a bit less effective than before. So they downgraded pressing effectiveness, but tacles are. Well i got many fault and when i play agressive the other team play the same way... So weirdly, i don't have that "no fault" issue. But bad referee decision still.

Personnally about efootball, i will follow (even if it was already decided in fact lol) one member purposed : not playing it at launch. But later, when it will be "restored" or finished if you want. I don't think it will before 2022. I'll be playing retro and less retro (Pes 21 to PES 3 lol, i already replayed too much PES 1 and WE5FE some year ago; as it was both my favorite in terms of challenge even with the restriction. Also the one i probably played the most, so very good memories cames back)
I'll probably be playing modded PES 2021 and might give a shot to PES 2014 since I heard it was the most ambitious in terms of realism. Might look for some mods and give it a shot.

Erm, we waited over a month....... for that !!!?!

WTF?!!? the turf looked hard and flat like a school desk, the lighting was way way off, the Ui horrendous, and the music in that video .... did they just choose a free clip from the youtube free sounds library?

And did I see the ability to 'kick the ball hard' is coming as a later, probably paid for, update?!!!? seriously!?!?!?!

Not a single mention of Master League.....

I'm done.
First of all, The turf looks awesome in next-gen consoles (maybe). I am saying this, because a glimpse of turf look in next-gen was shown in that trailer for like 2 seconds and it's in 3D. Speaking of lighting, lighting is way better than old titles. But yeah, UI is horrendous and pain in the eye. Master League and Other Game Modes are planned to reveal on September. Stay tuned. No huge expectations from them, but let's see.

One thing I don’t understand about this f2p thing. How are they gonna get players keep playing the game ( ie spending money) one or two years from now when all the teams are full with Ronaldos, Mbappes, Neymars etc?? Are they gonna reboot peoples teams every year like they do with every new version of FIFA or PES?
'Seasons'

I would really wish for Konami to admit the awful state of the game, apologize and delay it for 6 more months or whatever. It’s just not ready. I fear it’s going to be even worse than 2014 release.

Ah thanks.

It follows that there are lots of people that are prepared to spend real money, accept a seasonal reboot, and start over again!

I find that difficult to understand, but I suppose that's already been happening with traditional yearly releases.

I actually enjoy starting out and building with a weak team each year(mainly in ML), but the problem with Myclub for me, is that it's too easy to get a team of superstars quickly (and that's without spending real cash).

Well, no one knows what will be Konami's approach with €Football.

EA had no problems being shameless in erasing your yearly efforts, whether you were f2p or p2p.

Mobile PES had different aporoach in its first years (2017 to 2018, if i'm not mistaken) - you got to keep everyone, bar the players or managers that were physically gone from the database.
They just kept releasing "Season 2" cards ... did they also nerf S1 cards along the way, i couldn't tell. Barely played some matches.

The game is clearly not ready. And although the game is not ready, the big problem is that the base that they are using to create the game is a holly shit. The whole problem started when a genius decided to make the console game compatible with the mobile game. Thats all, thats the end, there is no way, you could have next gen mechanics or physics if it has to be compatible with mobiles. Im not talking about graphics, which could be improved over the time. But in order to do the game compatible with mobiles, the mechanics have to be the same, if not it wont work.

So That, it is what it is , a totally shit game, sory "Mobile Game" that is playable on consoles with upgraded graphics.

Still no release date announced? Surely this game is due out in the next 30 days!?

They clearly haven't got anywhere near a finished product & are making things up as they go. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if that God awful trailer yesterday was still being worked on the day before it was released.

eFootball has been thrown together at the last minute & is in complete disarray, I guarantee it. Maybe it'll be half decent a year from now but everything I've seen & heard so far reeks of panic mode & appalling management.

They needed to put something out game wise & are drip feeding us until the last minute. An absolute disaster waiting to happen.

It's the same 😅

Perform a Sharp Kick*

An option to charge a “sharp kick”, complete with new animations, will make the game even more technical and exciting. Players will be able to perform special kicks, such as sharp crosses, fast lofted passes and rising shots. These new actions take more time to execute, so players will need to choose the right opportunities during a match.

*This feature will be added in an update after launch. Please wait for further information.

I see a lot of people going back and forth here.

So lets summarise. Pure facts, nothing else. eFootball means:

- No offline modes till at least 2022
- no edit mode till later
- simplified tactics
- simplified controls
- simplified gameplay
- some kicks and even ball trapping not available at launch

Then you have trailer, probably made by the same guy who did the intro to Star Wars in 70's, players who look like a stickers on Football Album and obvious bugs like ref with a flag running across the pitch and player faces that look like they are trying not to shit themselves.

If you still think that there is a magic version of Pes, hidden in a closet, that will blow us out of the water - you are in denial.

If you still think that solution to all your problems will be to switch Cross Platform button Off and you will magically get proper next gen version this way - you are in denial.

Max (and I do mean absolute Max) that you will get this way is better graphics.
Do any of you really think that you will get more indepth gameplay, more controls and more tactics on next gen when you turn filter off? Do you really think Konami wouldnt mention it at any stage, trying to save their faces here?

Its up to you if you choose to hold on to false hope, but thats all that is - false hope. Every single statement, announcement and info we got clearly states that this is cheap, simple and shallow F2P game, aimed for mobile users. There is nothing next gen about it. There isnt even much old gen about it.

Sad but true....specially the bold parts.
Isn´t that strange?

When they switched to Fox Engine with PES 2014, they had a lot more in the pocket....MASS, Heart (whether it was good or not), right stick body shifting....animations, ball physics.....they came up with new stuff and introduced that a lot better (except for ML and some other modes).
But the game was too much for current gen.

Now we have another generation of next gen and they cut the game down to the bottom.
What an irony.....

Of course I´ll give it a go, but I don´t believe that this game will be on the same level as PES 2021. I highly doubt that.

It´s just sad.....potential was always there and they keep shooting themselves in their leg. Reminds me a bit of Star Wars 7 - 9, when you destroy something great just like that.

Ironically - Heart is a key word here. Not only in Pes14, but in developers. They used to be passionate, making the game out of love.
This is gone now. No one, who has any love for the series, would agree to take the direction they did and change it into cross platform mobile game.
Id go as far as to say - even tho most of us didnt like where the series was going recently - if it turned out to be a complete failure and Pes (eFootball, whatever) vanished - we would be more sad than Konami themselves.
They dont give two fucks about it.

It most probably has already been said but the thing about "sharp" kicks. To be implemented in a future update?? It begs the question on two levels
1. if a basic function of the game mechanics isn't available on release, then what will this "free" version have?

2. what has gone wrong with the grammar? surely powered/drilled passing would have been better understood than sharp kicks.

At this rate, expect online belly surfing like showed in @Emroth 's video post last month. Players will be corrected though with a "centre of gravity" dlc/update. :FAIL:

I can't stand PES 2019. Just can't. Most scripted PES ever.

It can't be more scripted than PES20/21. In PES20/21 you must take correct timing and place for successful dribling. If you don't - defenders always "guess" your direction. While in PES19 you can go through defence using inertia or dash. It's way more realistic.

Oh, and a little hint - don't play it at top difficulty. Play it on professional and you'll get the best PES ever created

Messi out of Barcelona, Ronaldo out of Juventus.. Konami wasted two years with minimal good improvements and much more bad decisions!
EA .. you lucky bastard !
