eFootball (All Platforms)

Music is great reminds me of pes of yesteryears. The grass look terrible as pinpointed by many here. Looking forward to it really.

They should still come out straight and tell us how far modding will be supported

Nothing has changed it terms of my "hype".

Looks like an ugly baby of Pes21.

Havent seen anything that would make me go - "oh, thats cool. I like it".
As bad as F22 seems to be - I have seen good few shots and animations there which made me think they have worked on it. Here - nothing.
No mention of shots, which was one of the worst parts of Pes, makes me think variety will definetely not improve this year.
Physicality looks awful. Havent seen a single player falling. Once again its a bumper car physics, where your player or AI will just be stuck in tripping over animation.
The outcry post first trailer was so loud that if they had some decent next gen version - they would have shown it. Yet once again - graphics looks like a mobile game. Oh wait... it is a mobile game...
I dont know how after all this people can still think it will be anything special.
As it stands - this new UFL football game picked my interest more than eFootball.

I had zero expectations and now I have... well... zero expectations... so I suppose it didnt get any worse.

Well if we start analysing everything like people working on a game you've made me laugh bro (no mockery at all) :LMAO:
Don't refers to appearence, there's smart young with good aknowledge and creativity and old guys with charisma you may think they're good devs, but stubborn and doing the same stuff each year. And the opposite. We don't care about the team, the results only matter.
It's just a simple game development studio you see there, nothing more or less, i see that kind of short vid/clips a thousand times.

We got so much announcement and so less real stuffs except one terrible beta...
Than we don't even know what to talk about or search hints about "how that game will be"
I agree with all of youz guys. I was Just joking aeound

Like everyone Else, havind a third football game alternative that might have better gameplay than the two traditional franchise is a dream for all of us and I am hopeful that this can be the time.

Looks like a PS3 game! That can't be the Next Gen game.. The player's shadows are awful, the kits and hair, have zero movements or physics, the grass looks like from PS1, the animations are Cringe ...... what is the next-gen exactly? Why did they put the awful-looking Pique again !? And why this awful video with an awful song has so many likes?
PES 13, 10 had better art style and overall graphics than this shit. And those were ps3 games.

I think it's depends a lot if you liked or not PES 2021 and accept a sequel, or wanted something completely different. To me it's okay as long as it's a bit better than PES 2021 which i really like. But for the others....
Well, i still believe than on PS5 in automn, we will get something correct, in 4k with all graphical stuffs. Like Durandil : i'm far less worried about physics and animations. But i fear the rest... If i get some pretty bad stuffs like adaptating graphics even offline, or online with cross-gen unchecked.

And yet this part doesn't look that bad

Really, really often, they think because a technology is more recent and advanced that the overall rendering will looks better. Wrong.
Just see in i don't remember which Fifa when they introduced a special lighting, players gotted very weird shadows in their faces and looked pretty ugly.

Sometimes, there's progress isn't always about doing thing super complicated. Take a look at Okami HD for example : it looks better than some PS4 with great technical features, but too much "pixarised" and with no soul.

Same goes for everything in fact. Well i wouldn't say PES 2013/let's say it's a matter of taste but presets are way better in current PES for example but at least 2010 to me. Even some presets faces can match with what we saw, and even PES 2015 to 2021

This photo isn't in the trailer, but in the screenshots posted on the officials social medias of Efootball
It's even worst hahhahaha
But not the same guys behind captures and trailers of course. Like i thinked without Weedens, a game who is almost done but with some flaws to correct on one or two plateform like PS4-PS5-X-PC (like they've said) he could have done something better and hidding those unfinished stuffs.

Edit: where's photorealism? 11 years before. On PES 2010. Didn't thrust a single word when a dev talk about photorealism, never saw it and in any game and every producer repeat that "feature" like a gimmick at each new game presentation. Never really happened in fact.

That was quite bizzare. It seems like such a 180 in terms of the quality for the 2020 & 2021 trailers and marketing, there's a lot of Engrish in that trailer but it was like it was produced by a novice, like it was an assignment to someone who's not very skilled at making videos.

The text crawl at the start was bar far the most offensive to my eyes though. Yellow text on a predominantly green background with all that footage going on? What the fuck? Does nobody give anybody any feedback before something is published over there?

Sorry mate, but I can't translate what you are saying.

Anyway, my point is that the game looks ugly, I don't like the look of this game. That's my personal opinion.

And I meant several things when I said art style:
- I don't like how right the kits look here.
- All the players seem to have swelled up arse/ buttocks, I hate that look.
- Lighting looks okay on some scenes but on other weather/ match times the lighting looks awful.
- Gameplay camera grass texture straight up looks awful.
- We are on Ps5 generation and the cloth physics still doesn't look bouncy. The thing is, back in PES 14 they at least tried. The clothes had decent bouncing to it. Looking at PES 17 [ps4/xbpme] and PES 18 [pc/ps4/xbone] even those had some nice bouncy cloth physics, not as good as PES 14 but it still looked promising.

Things I did like here:
- Sometimes the lighting looks okay.
- Compared to PES 21, the colors don't seem to look over saturated.
- Close up shots of 3d grass looks okay.
- Despite dumbed down cloth physics, the 3d model of the cloths do deform and wrinkle up, this is nice but they are stuck on the players body like magnets.

By the way, I absolutely hate tight kits for this. But even the current nike and addidas kits on real life are loose enough to bounce, so I'd like if we could see realistic cloth physics some day.

While engine change can cause some downgrades, the current game looks way too bad. This is the first time I'm seeing such downgrades. Back in the day with change to fox engine with pes 14, i was actually very impressed by the graphics. So the current downgrades doesnt meet my minimum expected standards.

This is just my complaint about the art style. But now comes the biggest concern of mine:

- This game will be an online game. I have suspicions about how much we can mod the game, if at all. Base game without real team names, player names, kits and faces look awful to me and all these years I've played heavily modded PES and FIFA games. And I like to play with classic players. If the game becomes completely online focused, it might end up in such a way that if we add more head models and change the ingame files, the game will not boot in order to prevent cheating in online matches.

- I don't mind multiplayer. But I have absolutely no interest in playing online. I usually just have fun with my friends and multiplayer with my friends locally in my house. Online focused gameplay might cause the AI to be not upto my expectations.

Other issues that made me not like PES in past few years:

- Player locomotion is sluggish. This is why I still stick with pes 13, 06, 08. I still do enjoy pes 14 to some extent since the locomotion still kinda feels more responsive in that game compared to pes 21.

Anyway, tldr; these are my opinion ofcourse. Others might like the graphics, gameplay and the decision to go full online, which is fine.
I just personally don't like all these changes. But I will still give the game a chance once it's released of course.
