eFootball (All Platforms)

I'm with @raul_ole now. Enough. Some jokes ok, but it's starting to become really embarrassing. Better to leave this thread, repetiting the same thing again became by far lesser funny.
Even if i understand disappointments , please don't "force" jokes too much.

This sums up Konami for me...

Look at the long ball counter screenshot. The linesman is running around in the centre circle.

They have not even watched their own video through. Where is the quality control?
HAHAHAHA, they're absolutely fucking brilliant aren't they? :LMAO::LMAO::LMAO::LMAO::LMAO::LMAO:

but for real, some "good" graphics were shown in the stadium, even the walkout with moving kits look "good"

what i can't understand is the complaining about mobile... if u have an NG Console and don't want to play against mobile turn it OFF in the filters.

what they show is a mix from various samples of some platforms... not more not less.

won't defend Konami for that shitshow but that some here think playing a mobile game on PS5 is just BS...

really hope that doesn't come from people praising PES 5&6 in heaven and now complain about shadows without touching a "final" version! :SNACK:

Sorry mate, but I can't translate what you are saying.
I'm just saying some technologies are added because they're "new and more complex, with promise of things more realistic". But the rendering isn't better than some old tricks used like on PES 2010.
Edit: where the technology was less advanced in technical terms, but the rendering was overally better. Whatever if it's older or newer. Only the result matter.
Sorry for my english, it was simple but words weren't pretty well choosen.

What proof do you have they are showing footage from different platforms and that turning off crossplay makes any difference? The differences are most likely explained by the fact they are using a combination of old and new clips (i.e. from different builds.) As I posted multiple times, they already confirmed the visuals are NOT downgraded against mobile users.

Although it's hard to pick something out of the dumpster fire that was the trailer, the worst thing for me was seeing that lame looking near post finesse shot and hapless goalkeeper dive, scoring will still have no satisfaction I'm betting.

4:53 The match looks more compact. I like the positioning of defenders which are quite high, close to the opponent strikers and they close down quickly. I also saw double pressing on the ball carrier. Overall its like a pes2021 with some tweaking. I just hope the a.i is good, the game feels less on rail, better shooting and more fouls as I badly need something to play. Need to see a full gameplay sample to judge more

So, knowing that the game will be Fox Engine based and Unreal being only renderer... That's QUITE A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT for me. Yet... There could be still some light into it.

Best of cases, we get some kind of PES 2021 like game with certain improvements on gameplay such as animations, AI, control and dribbling precision, and in general a wider array of possibilities on the one on one, getting a bit closer to the FIFA formula of dribbling being more meaningful but without loosing PES DNA of teamplay and realism. Also some graphic update.

Worst of cases, the game is not upgraded enough as to feel the difference with a mobile ripoff and we get a horrible gameplay with horrible controls and a one on one FIFA style.

Tbh, if you want my opinion... Game will be bad at launch. And I mean BAD. Not so bad as we can make jokes on it, but meaningless, a bad port of the mobile version. But as the game goes on and keeps updating, it will get better. Having in count mobile version is Fox based, I suppose it's just a simplified version of PES 2020 rendered with UE... Which is not so bad news.

You had my opinion, now my advice. Avoid this game at launch. As much as you can. Will leave into you a bad impression and you will refuse to play it later when maybe becomes an upgraded PES 2021. I will play it if community is able to mod it and make a decent offline experience as with PES2021, and in that moment I will buy ML if it is at least something similar to PES 2021 ML.

clearly to see the different stages of Versions in the level of LODs, lightning and resolution of textures. even the circle with the arrow is from mobile platform!

here I am in, that look too familiar with pes 2021 and had to fix!

Totally love the gameplay trailer :D
Especially when you realize that they fully ditched the "narration" and change it to multiline text at the beginning of the video because of the critic they received from the reveal trailer... and don't forget about that linesman

The circles were on NFG in next-gen builds so it doesn't mean it's from the mobile version, apparently they seem to like these circles because they are showing them all the time. I believe all footage is taken from PC and probably some of the clips are from latest build which has better lighting/shadows, some are older clips even from the previous trailer, it explains the difference. I thought the visuals were improved as we expected, but still far from what we had original hoped and certainly not "blown away" like one person was predicting.

PES 2010 graphics and art style was were great, the grass for example still looks better than some current-era games.

It was a shame the animations didn’t have the same quality.

Not one word about shooting being revamped is enough for me, free game or not. Like mentioned before the shooting looks exactly as soulless as PES 21.

Edit: revamped shooting may come in later update though!

and thats it? Thats all we got in terms of tactics? wtf

If that's genuinely all they offering for tactics, then it's another indicator of this being a simplistic mobile game. It beggar's belief that they have the audacity to highlight these settings in their trailer, as if it's the break-through in the tactical system that we've all been waiting for. I cannot remember a previous PES having more simplistic tactical settings than this.

There must surely be more to come......surely......

Don't worry, I wasn't upset lol.

I do agree about using new methods of rendering results in unpolished result.
But What I'm also trying to say is that certain design choices like tight kits, big buttocks, dumbed down cloth physics [Unreal Engine 4 can do decent cloth physics btw] and bad looking grass texture are something that isn't really a result of engine change.

It simply happened cause their high iq brains thought "yep this looks nice, me loves some fat buttocks" :LMAO:
