Yes, it's like there's two different games graphics in the trailer. The Addboard for example looks pretty "photorealistic" even if i don't give a f*** about add-boards.

Reminds me heavily PES 2016 for PC with flawed lights, on low settings.

I remember the time when I got excited by PES trailers.

This is just so amateurish. I can deal with the terrible broken English on the subtitles but the game just doesn't look next-gen (neither graphics or gameplay), I just see a stripped down PS3/PS4 game.

'Sharp Kick'. Who thought that sounded good? To call it a new feature is a bit embarrassing but to laud it as something to look forward to through a future update is just incredible.

Sad times.
 
To me a PS4 game, nothing like a Mobile or PS3 game sorry. And no reaction about shadows, people prefers to focus on the SFII shadows and just pass over my post.
Whatever, when you decided it's shit. Then you're right, it's shit. Pretty sure PS5 will be looking good, but with PS4 gameplay. So i'm not so much disappointed.
When i see the awfull Beta in the other side, i'm largely more confident that the game will be at least better than that, and probably above PES 2021 level (as i repeat, i like PES 2021. And ALL not Sony game aren't already next gen at the start of a new-gen : except some area like Demon's Souls graphics. But physics are PS3, like the original.

For that, i agree, the trailer is a melting pot. Shadows, no shadows, bad presentations, bad features names etc. it's not appealing.

With PS2 engine, it's easier to take the console "power" and put it only on graphics. But yes, even if it was pre-calculated in terms of lighting on faces and models, the colors were the best i never saw in a football game.

If you watch those "squad" or "tactics" or "done" buttons are designed like that to be switched with the finger by moving and sweeping the yellow button to the left or right. In the left part of the screen where those tactics are presented and the gameplan overall it's dumbed down because those are the mobile capabilities, designed to be intuitive with less options when touching the screen. It's like using FMs tactics on PC vs playing FM on mobile... so expect less complexity especially in the UI options & menus, because those will be designed and adjusted for moving/touching...

I saw shadows in my pictures.
3 Types of shadows : one normal, one without, and one 16 bits.
Super weird in fact. Shitty cross-plateform stuffs probably cause that.
 
I won't put a single penny on Fifa this year for sure. Perhaps i won't even play Efootball or an football game neither, let's see first if it's not like Durandil said : adaptative graphics for every plateforms... But if it's all correct in PS5 offline, and i hope PS4 for PS4 users then it's completely okay. I never buyed a PS5 for PES. PES 2015 PS3 was similar to PS4, until PES 2017 in fact.

There were others games where graphics are way more important. And physics a bit less but still
Like i repeat : Black Myth Wukong, or Elden Ring.
In BM-WK when he walks in the snow, i never saw a level of details so high in a game.

After seeing FIFA's beta in THAT video posted yesterday, I would not touch that with a barge poll.
I'm happy to stick with my ps4 and mess about with this free football game for a while.
Will look at ps5 again for next fifa and the new pga tour which releases next year.
