Just watched the game. I am so excited bout next season now! i never believed we would win the league this yr, but im not so sure anymore!

What do you Chelsea-fans think? Is Kezman there for more depth in the squad or will he be in the first eleven mostly?

What were his goals like against Celtic? I missed the match :(

Well Johnson released him into a one on one situation and he cooly slotted it in home for his second, his first one was also pretty good.

His goals were very well put away. The second was superb, he had two defenders on him yet he still received the ball, controlled it, then slotted it past Hedman in a great flowing move. The guy has talent.

It seems the coming season will be very exciting!!! We're way stronger than last season and I think we can be... CHAMPION!!! Kezman rulz in the last few games.

I'm sure he'll sort that out. Sullivan and Macho remained in London, continuing their training there. I'd like to see Sullivan and Ambrosio off the books. Jürgen Macho is a good keeper, some people might remember his performances at Sunderland, so he may be worth keeping, but he might not want to be 3rd choice. At least the young Belgian keeper, Yves Makaba Makalamby, has age on his side.

ricardo carvalho to chelsea for 30milion euros...
wat u guys think is he quality? i think he is as long as he adapts good to english football and to his team then i think u guys have a very good CB for many years

Yeah, he'll be wicked once he's learnt to stop passing the ball out from defence and go for hoofed long balls to the centre-forward instead.
;)

If I was William Gallas, I'd be pissed off right now.

This is the potential problem isn't it? I just don't think you can have a bench full of young International footballers and expect them not to be pissed off about it.

The only way to keep all the egos happy is to rotate the team, and then you end up the same problems as last year. You could feasibly have Smertin or Tiago or Parker or Mutu hardly playing a game in the League or CL or whatever, and that's just ridiculous.

i tell u now if a player starts complaining he doesnt play as much as he would like to and if he does that complaining in a "correct" way well mourinho will put him in line :) mourinho is very suportive of all his player but if someone starts thinking they are above the group then mourinho will "slap that biatche face" and put him on his place .. :)
but in the end i think mourino will give u ll chelsea fans many reasons of hapiness :)

I just got a sky sports alert sayin that chelsea have completed the transfer of cavarhlo. happy days!

Its all very well buying names, but whether they play FOR the blue shirt of Chelski is a different matter. I agree, I don`t know about some of Fergie`s signings, but most of them are special - Ronaldo, Heinze is class, Smith was a STEAL at that price, Howard is proving to be a great `keeper. Look at Chelsea`s mouth-watering signings last season. But they didn`t all perform, Crespo and Mutu both flopped. Its all about man-management, a good coaching staff and fresh, young talent that develops through the squad, instead of 26+ year old players who cost £25 million a time. Look at Real Madrid, there is no depth in that squad. Figo is getting on with his better playing days behind him, same with Raul, and what happens when they get injuries? They don`t have the quality substitutions. Its all very well opening your cheque book, but the clubs should be building from the foundations up. Mourinho is a great coach, and he even laughed at Chelsea`s training and youth facilties. It will be an interesting season . . . .

For christ sake what a great fan!

WTF! How much more money is Abramovich gonna spend? I bet he's just gonna buy a new XI every seasons until he wins some silverware.
So whats the whole list of Chelsea signings for this season then?
The only one that I think thats actually gonna shine is Robben.

Nah they've bought some very good players, much better than the majority of last years.

This year is gonna be very interesting....

Cech
P. Ferreira
R. Carvalho
Tiago
Robben
Kezman
Drogba

alomost a whole new team already, im really curious at how Chelski is gonna perform this season, they obviously bought quality players, but now its up to Mourinho to make a footballing machine out of them as he did at Porto...

Well for a manager he's too young to judge, but he's already surpassed expectations, and he seems ruthless enough, which is usually the difference between 1st and 2nd.

With the sqaud they've they've gotta be favourites for, well pretty much everything, its just up to everyone else to raise their game.

I dont know Mourinhos position on who will be starting in the centreback2 and rightback position, Bridge and Terry will have theirs starts and unless Paulo is going to the bench, Gallas will. I still dont know about that last signing.

I think he's right, Ferguson has lost his touch....with all the money that Man Utd have they could have bought far better players (and not necessarily stars).

Concerning Chelsea: last year everybody was patient, expectations weren't that high because everybody agreed that the team needed one season to gel...If they go on buying that amount of players they will never win anything because every other season will be a season where the team needs to gel...
So this season Chelsea has to deliver the goods (which i think they will).
This EPL will be a race between both London clubs: Arsenal and Chelsea. Possible outsider: Liverpool. Fourth: Newcastle Fifth: Aston Villa and maybe sixth: Man Utd.
