we're getting stronger and stronger all the time, we've got CL champ manager, La Liga champ manager, some of europes top young talent, all this on top of the world class talent already here. The Prem feckin rules!!
 
Chelsea still need a centre-half to replace Desailly, unless Mourinho thinks Huth is up to it.

And where the hell is their right-winger!?! They've got two young top-class left wingers and no-one to adequately fill the same role on the other side. Unless they're going to stick Kezman out there, but that hardly seems fitting for a player that out-scored RvN at PSV.

Why would Roma want to sell him? Considering how unbelievably shit Zebina is (is he even still there?) and the fact that they've just flogged Samuel. I know they're skint, but surely not so skint that they need to flog Euro 2004's top performer for £3.5m?
 
Foxrocks, Mourinho has stated he is still after a CB and a midfielder, the latter of which i'm sure is a right winger.
Meanwhile, Dellas rarely featured for Roma, he was totally out of favour. The fact that clubs are now offering them money for a bit player probably makes sense to them. Zebina has indeed moved on.

Bu hasn't he stated on numerous occasions that he wants his squad finalised by Wednesday? They'll do well to cover both positions by then.
 
He has, but it's not looking very possible really. Thankfully it's only a few friendlies, in which he'll play some more of the reserve players, mixed in with the first XI. I'm sure we'll find a defender pretty soon.
 
This is great. Weve almost got a complete squad, im just worried if Gallas/Terry gets injured, huth has to fill in, or maybe even johnson.

Nobody's sure when, though, right? He could prove useful defensive cover for the next term - not that you can't fork out the cash and buy some more quality, which you inevitably will.
 
Yeh so Tiago jetted to America with the rest of the crew. Too bad he wont be there for the first few games as he will be playing for the Portugese olympic team.

Black???? AAAH beautifull...i remember the black away kits (with yellow lining) from Man Utd a couple of seasons ago...the best kits i ever saw...

Celtic 2 (Beattie x2) Chelsea 4 (Smertin, Kezman x2, Gudjohnsen)

Chelsea went ahead through Alexei Smertin's unstoppable left-foot drive but the impressive Craig Beattie hit back for Celtic before half-time.

However, Eidur Gudjohnsen converted Arjen Robben's cross before the striker turned provider as Kezman made it 3-1.

Beattie's header gave Celtic hope, but Kezman struck from close range to seal victory for Jose Mourinho's side.
 
Smertin, Geremi, Eidur and Kezman were all very impressive. Kezman looks like a brilliant striker and he's got the number 9 shirt also.

Smertin's goal was brilliant but celtic were very poor.
 
Nope, he had the day off. Along with Tiago. Kezman looked ace, and that wonder strike surprised everyone.
