According to a report on planetfootball, mourinho is happy with his strikers at the moment. He said he is most impressed with gudjohnsen and second kezman. However, this week it will be decided if crespo stays at the bridge depending on family etc. If he does leave then mourinho will swoop for drogba. No word on mutu though :(

I'm still here, but managing a summer job and a new girlfriend can take up time my man.

On the news of Drogba, latest scoop tells me that Crespo will stay as he wants to prove that he was not a failure in the Premiership, after all 13 starts 10 goals, isnt bad, if im not mistaken. As for Drogba, he will come if Crespo goes , both ways, I wouldnt want to see Drogba come in, I dont want to be the next Inter where we change our team every season. All this new money is great for the club, but we have to use it wisely and i believe that Mourinho can do just that.

As for your ideas on the squad i agree, i wouldnt mind crespo leavin if drogba is definately comin in, but on the other hand i like crespo and dont want to see him leave, oh well, we'll find out over the next couple of days.
 
Injured in his second game in for Chelsea, then truobled by that knee injury for the rest of his career. Sad isnt it.
 
I thought he often brought a good wide attacking element to our game. But he was hardly consistent.
I see young Carlton Cole has been snapped up by Villa on a 1 year loan.

Juve defender Igor Tudor is set to join Chelsea this week in a reported £3.5m deal. The 26-year-old Croatian international has agreed personal terms and is seen as a replacement for the retired Marcel Desailly.
 
I havent heard anything about that prof, and considering its not appeared on planetfootball then i think its one of the many thousands of rumours around chelsea

and i dont like tudor, i think he is bloody fuckin rubbish
 
Agreed. He's not a classy player. He has made a mistake in the Euro 04.
 
Talkin of tudor did anyone see clips of him durin euro 2004 trainin jus b4 the england game? The only clip they showed was him running in and out of 5/6 cones and he knocked every single one over!! I definately dont want a player who can see further than his nose!!

And i jus saw an interview with mourinho on sky sports he says he only wants crespo if he is 100% commited to the club, not even 1% of doubt. So i think he secretly would rather have drogba. And he also said he is only lookin for a right sided midfielder and a centre back to complete his 23/24 squad.
 
Well they better raise the offer cos Crespo's off!!

Milan-Crespo: Deal Done

Hernan Crespo will play for AC Milan next season on loan from Chelsea for a year and the two clubs will split the striker's wages, according to this morning's Gazzetta dello Sport.
The deal seems to have been sealed yesterday evening, but the official statement will probably come later on today as the Chelsea staff has yet to ink the pen on paper.

The Blues are now looking for a replacement for the Argentine striker.

Didier Drogba appears to be the main candidate to be Crespo's successor at the Bridge, however Chelsea will need to table a bid of around 30 million Euros in order for the deal to go through.
 
Thought it was 40 million... but what the hey.. :)

Drogba is an amazing talent and if the deal goes through then i can see the Blues doing fantastically well in the CL.
 
Why is carton cole going villa? I thought he was supposed to stay at charton because it was part of a transfer deal when we signed scot parker.
 
Kezman scored on his debut and generally looked sharp, hit the bar and post and obviously scored, 1-1 final score
 
Smertin missed a chance he should have put away, I kinda feel unlucky, but hey it was just a friendly.
