SulphuricX said:Was that sarcastic? Because if we dont win anything again, everyone is going to be on our backs.
SulphuricX said:Haha, thats why this chelsea fan aint going to be cocky. Oh and by the way Butatista, dont you gooners hate Manure, if so, whats up with your sig.
SulphuricX said:Even when the thing in MY SIG happened, i wasnt cocky. It must have been hard to deal with. I just hate when a few fans of the club ruin the clubs image for everyone.
SulphuricX said:But their stadium is going to be the biggest in England, unless Fergie decides to expand. I bet Abromavich will not be able to live in a city where his club has the second biggest stadium.
Professor Nutmeg said:Gosh, well that's really put us in our place.
I'd say in recent years, at least, that we are a reasonably well acknowledged European side.
Professor Nutmeg said:Arsenal have to try and get a bit further in the European competitions, and get out of that poxy stadium (which they are working on) before they can stake a claim in the big Euro places.

I would say we are too. You get to one semi final and you get all big time.

If this is the case, then why is it we have qualified for it 7 years running and have been seeded for the past 3 years? 1 semi final does make you any more well known in Europe than us.

well, you havent got there.
Professor Nutmeg said:Well we got to the QFs before that in the CL, playing the likes of AC Milan and Barca. I wasn't just referring to last season's run. You are well known in Europe...generally for going out in the group stages
SulphuricX said:Well we actually could have got the final if it wasnt for Ranieri wanting to finish things off just because they wree down to 10 men. Then we would have been the first in London to get to the Finals too!
SulphuricX said:But anyway, getting to the last 4 is still something to remember, something us chelsea fans will
SulphuricX said:Yeh, its like what if another team goes unbeaten, 38 draws. Is that great? You have a record, but you got releageted. I dont see going unbeaten as something special, and "immortal" mr. arsene says, well thats just a whole loada crap. They werent looking immortal when bridge scored were they. And that was in England, bascially they were beaten in England, while using their first team (excluding the loss to Boro)
