Chelsea officials in Betis.

Definitely for the transfer of Joaqin. This is big news. Negotiating for a 26 Million offer. This would be great for us.

I really do feel sorry for Parker, Duff, Bridge, J Cole and the like.

I don't feel sorry for them.
They should have thought about that before they joined the club.
And if they would have played better and impressed then they would be in the XI.
And theyre getting paid loads for warming the bench.
 
What is the point of getting Roberto Carlos, hes damn 31, and we are blowing 21 Mil on him. Whoah, a chelsea fan concerned about money. :)
 
you got to feel for bridge whats he done wrong!? u can say robben coming in for duff is because of duffs injurys but carlos for bridge........
 
I do feel for bridge. The best left back in the prem. Fuck Carlos, he can stay in Real, hes damn 31. But with this news of Joaqin, bye bye Gronkjaer for sure.

I think Zenden is going to extend his loan at Boro. Isnt that what you want? Geremi is one of those backup Midfielders that can try to fill in any role. Like Veron, but it looks like hes off.
 
Lol yeah id love us to sign Zenden permenantly, and i wouldnt mind Geremi coming back here to play on the right so we can push Mendi infield. You think Geremi has a future at Chelsea though?
 
I don't feel sorry for Parker(especially him) or J.Cole but Bridge and Duff I see as important factors to Chelsea if only the "PLC" could see this instead of signing every good damn player under the sun before the manager situation is sorted.
 
For fucks sake.. the whole Chelski thing pisses me off. They're not concerned about teamwork just blowing cash on the best players in the world. They are a disgrace to football. :roll:

exactly mate, when Scott Parker moved to Chelsea i was laughing my back off. Stay at charlton and play regular or go to a team with around 7 midfielders competing for your your place (most of whom are better)
 
he's crying himself to the bank, he got a high profile transfer, lots of money and in a couple of years he'll be at a different club making a name for himself.

personally I think he's your typical english midfielder (average basically), so the lads done well, he'll probably be blaming Chelsea for his prolonged development as well ;)

Carlos needs to stay at Real Madrid, Chelsea are just going to rape him.
 
I think a lot of other fans would be liking it if was their club, although I see the downpoints i.e. favourite players getting bombed out and the main worrying point if Roman A decides to pack it in and leave them with very big earners where does that leave Chelsea? It's alright saying they'll flog the players that they can't afford to keep, however remember Winston Bogarde?

Don't know if Roberto Carlos would be a good signing...anyway there are loads of better defending players.
The Brittish Chelsea did very well this season (Duff, Bridge, Terry, Lampard). It would be a shame if Chelsea would become a second Real..
 
We don't need Carlos, Bridge is fantastic and deserves his place.

Noted. who is "they?" you surely mean one person, Abramovich.

FD, Chelsea would have no probs selling off top players. Bogarde is a lazy useless failure. He is however an exception, in that he is a low profile lumox. Veron on the other hand is a high profile failure, but his services would still be in demand elsewhere, despite not grasping the rudiments of Premiership football.

I want to see consolidation this summer. If we are going to buy, which we are, we have to sell players too. This is a must!!!
 
Prof, you give Roberto Carlos £120k per week for 4 years, Roman does a bunk and he starts to go downhill, do you think someone will want to pay a highly inflated price and wage to match for him. Look at Davids, his mind is on money. Sorry mate, but your deluded if you think players don't think of money now.

Ay, i think you got the wrong end of the stick there FD. I totally agree about players in it for the dosh. Look at Mr Alan "devoted to Leeds" Smith. I didn't mention anyhting to the contrary. This is why i don't think we need Roberto Carlos, because he'll come for the cash. Bridge would no doubt put in more effort and passion anyway imo. What i was saying is that we would easily be able to sell players like Mutu, Crespo, Gallas, Duff, J. Cole, Geremi, etc etc if we really had to. Sadly, Abram hasn't grasped the concept of wanting to play for the club rather than for a fat wage. You can't build a winning team if all the players' sole goals are to get as much cash as possible. Frank Lampard is a good example. He wants a new contract with a higher wage, on a par with the other top earners (who play less often and don't give as much). If anyone deserves it, than it's him.

Right now I understand what's his saying with Chelsea just signing players for the sake of it(Over the weekend it was reported that they were after Rothen why?).
 
Because Roman think's he's playin Champ. Manager or maybe even PES or WE, because everytime someone plays well against them, they're gonna try and buy him. :mrgreen:

if henry came out and said 'why sign for Man Utd when you can sign for Arsenal, its crazy' i dont think man utd fans would be too happy

higher in the league and further in the champions league, crazy eh?!

Because they have loads of money, so the papers will link them with everyone and anyone. Who believes the transfer gossips in the red tops anyway?
 
Chelsea are turning (aptly) turning into the reds, and popping up in everything & everywhere (even if in reality they really weren't involved)

Rothen is a good midfielder, but he's not the right stuff for a team with 100's of millions of pounds at their disposal.

Also I think Van Nistelrooy has a point, he just needs to exchange the team Manchester United with Real Madrid ;)
 
So..... Mourinho. Is he comin to us or not? He is definately coming to england, but who to? us or liverpool?i cant see him going to liverpool.
