I think Chelsea would be mad to make wholesale changes. In Cudicini, Gallas, Terry, Bridge. Makelele, Lampard, Duff and Gudjonson they've got the backbone of a very, very good side. Maybe they need to find another right back (although I think that Johnson is definitely one for the future), a right winger and another striker, but I honestly do not think that they are far away from having a great team. What they really need more than anything is some stability and the chance to get to know eachother!

If you added Beckham and Ronaldo/ Drogba to the current Chelsea team, they'd be real challengers for both the Premiership and the Champions League.
 
i agree with you stu-pid, but metal jason? what are you talkin about selling huth and gallas! Gallas and terry are the best defensive partnership in the premiership, and huth is definately and excellent back up, no way should we sell those two! We'd lose fo' sho'!

Id love to see ronaldo at chelsea, that would be my 2nd best dream. Ronaldinho being first.

Deco can play on the sides too. He's very versatile.
He usually playes on the left or right whenever he playes for Portugal.

he has no fixed position...but he never plays as a winger
personaly i think it's a bit of a shame to buy all these players from FCP and selling almost all the last year's team! chelsea needs to hold the horses ;)
if you buy mourinho he will build a great team....with a low budget he built a great team in 1-2 seasons...i wonder what team he will build with a BIG budget....
 
I honestly can't say that I'm an 'authority' on Deco, since I haven't seen him outside of the Champions' League. But the only time I've noticed him on the wings is when he gets mucled out of the center or when there are alot of players there, and even then his position is still a midfield-playmaker.

I cant see becks coming.
If only Duff could play on the right and we got Samuel.

Hey nothing from you boys about the lampard story that broke this morning! You have asked Juve to name the price for Trez and they turned around and said we will swap for Lampard! Which Chelsea refused!

Lampard is young and only going to get better, chelsea dont need to swap players when they have the cash to buy people

What would be great would be if he went on a rampage with a sledgehammer taking out players knees and screaming if I can't be part of chelsea you can't.

Spoilt Dom? Haha, im just saying, Trez is good, but that was a funny moment. Crespo has had his amazingness this season, so many amazing goals, eg. v Fulham, v Arsenal, v Villa.
 
Crespo is definately only going to get better. Look at Angel at villa. He's been given 2/3 seasons to settle in and now he is a real threat up front for them. Just because we have alot of money we are not giving our players enough chance to get used to the english game IMO. Next season crespo will start to show even more of his amazingness. (is that a word? it is now!)

Discipline is what Gallas needed. Otherwise, just sell him if Im the manager or keep him but wont let him play any games in all the season.
 
I just love the way Claudio Ranieri gives his aftermatch review!! He is honest,never too proud to praise the opposition or criticise his team.He's a good gaffer,4th in italy,3rd in spain and 2nd in england? He HAS to stay,i personally love his antics!

I had to work on Saturday (can you believe it 98% of this seasons home games and I miss the last one of the season, cheers boss!!) My mate was telling me that he got the sort of reception usually reserved for the Imperial One..

The guy is a class act!!
