the real winner in the chelsea v moanco match was football u should not be able to buy sucess u could say im jelous but that is not the case just because chelsea have a lot of money real madrid have a lot of money but im not jelous of them fair enough for teams like man u and real madrid buying players for 20/30 mil ect cause they have earned that right in recent years and have 5 * pedagrie in europe chelsea have not they need to earn sucess not buy it.
 
People never give up on this 'buying success' bullshit.

So if your team got endless amounts of money you would say "oh no, we cant spend that money, we dont deserve to". Fuck off, there is no way any other team would have done differently. We were just luckly enough abramovich chose us.

No one is saying they would be upset if that was their team, but he is right I think, it would be bad for football if Chelsea had won it this season.
 
well I certainly aint jealous, but the thing that really kills it??? the best chelsea players are amazingly the english players who were already thier pre-chelski.
 
There are so many rumors of players that Roman is buying, some of them a concrete offers. The incoming coach would have a nightmare trying to field 11 of Roman's 100 new galacticos. I don't envy Jose. :)
 
Real have bought there team so why cant chelsea? they spent 111million this season, madrid spend 50 every summer usually

i would have loved to see an English team win it, next year we are gonna have Arsenal, manyoo and chelsea all much stronger
 
I don't like Real either, I don't deny they are capable of great football at times but on the whole I enjoy watching them get beat for pretty much the same reasons people don't like Chelsea nowadays.
 
I think people misunderstood what i said. I didn't mean to convey that people were jealous of the club Chelsea. What i was highlighting, was the fact that some people couldn't bear to see Chelsea actually succeed. So their relief, and apparent delight, manifested as juvenile quips. Really, I suppose, one ought to take it as a compliment. :)

They remind me of manyoo for some reason, think they are bigger than everyone else and poaching players

i like chelsea, that may change after Ranieri goes however
 
According to Eurosportnews, Beckham is returning to the premiership due to personal reasons(Posh ;) ).

Well doubt he would go back to manyoo if Ferguson is still there and i cant see a move to Arsenal being likely

Real buy lots of expensive players but only one a year. The main frame stays in place.
 
Chelsea is offering 70 million euros for José Mourinho+Deco+Costinha+Paulo Ferreira.they are also interested in Maniche but this one Porto refuses to sell. Also the president of FCP said that Paulo Ferreira is inegotiable... is there any news about this in england?

i think this year around 6 or 7 players will come in, what with around 6 or 7 moving out it isnt going to be like last year imo
 
if Im the club manager, I'll sell Joe cole, Huth(sp?) Mutu or Crespo(one of them, hard to choose), gallas, sully & veron.
 
I've heard the Mourinho/Deco. How long till the name Drogba gets mentioned? :l What Chelsea needs is a summer to consolodate. Out with the likes of Bogarde, Veron etc.
 
Deco is what we need, he can holding the ball and make some good pass.
 
Veron can make good passes aswell and in the end it was Lampard in his place (and did superbly, the best English player by far this season).
Chelsea need team players,n if they really want to buy a player from Chelsea it is Paulo Ferreira because Chelsea need a good right back (how much i like Melchiot). Deco would play where Lampard plays now, if i'm not mistaken Costinbha is a DMF and IMHO Chelsea have the best DMF in the world (Makelele) and Geremi did very well in this position against Monaco...
 
Yes, but could you see Deco and Lampard in the same team? They're both central players. At a push Lampard could play deeper, but he's no great tackler and he loves to come forward. You'd need some alternative formation to incorporate them and a DMF like Makelele. I do hope Veron leaves this summer though.
 
Chelsea need a right-winger and that's about it, bringing in more players who will demand a first-team start most weeks is idiotic. Sign a good right-winger (don't mean someone from the stand) and make the rest of the team settle down together.
 
Deco, in Mourinho's tactic has no fixed position (i can't remember anything like that with other player). Costinha is a DMF but more defensive that Makelele and is the best "aereal" player of FCP. we score a lot of goals in corners. Paulo Ferreira is an amazing defender. very fast and his stamina is really impressive. he works very well too on the attack
 
Gun.......why not just say it. Chelsea should sign the whole Porto team. Think it's obvious they need a right winger and possibly a right-back. Another centre half and possibly a new striker and lose Crespo or Mutu.

Signing half the Porto team ain't gonna do much good, think they need to buy players and take into consideration their current team and how they play.

Deco is too weak IMO, he can't hold the ball very well. I think a central midfielder should be strong enough to take a couple of shoves before going down, Deco drops at the slightest touch.
 
But i still think his skills is better than most of the others...

Deco can play on the sides too. He's very versatile.
He usually playes on the left or right whenever he playes for Portugal.
