First I've heard of it if they are. He's a good right-back, I've yet to see a faster player.

We we're in the summer, it was posted up on here somewhere, Fergie was interested but then he played a CL qualifying match and became cup-tied, then interest died down.

He's under contract for the next 2/3 years I think, so it'd take a fair bit of cash to shift him because MON loves him to bits.

He's guaranteed entry into the CL next year anyway, no qualifiers for SPL winners next season ;).

Paddy Power aren't, they've paid out on Celtic winning the league.

Well the last time that happened, Done (a manchester bookmakers) paid out early in the 97/98 season when we we're miles in front, and Arsenal won it..

I think the same happened last year with Arsenal and we won it...

Hhhmmm........

Lol we're talking about Rangers here not Arsenal. This is a team that signed an already injured Gavin Rae, then threw him into the OF game a couple of days later where he lasted half-an-hour-ish, and is now going to Germany for specialist treatment!

Rangers are a mess, the league's done, we've still got to pump them at least twice in the league as well :D.

Completely different league though, Man Utd could get turned over tonight as could Arsenal. Up in the SPL it's extremely rare for the big 2 to lose. I think Paddy Power are safe although they would lose a fortune if Rangers did win it cause surely no one bets on anyone else, well not big amounts. They would lose any money staked on the SPL winner, that would be funny!"!!!!

Fair enough.

You still on here T?????

You or anyone else going tonite??

Trabelsi used to be a winger, that's why he's fast, good at going forward, and not a great defender.

he was linked with united at the beginning of the season, obviously nuttin happened, but the chelski might wana get him. melchoit is a pretty decent right back imo, wonder if he'll go to another prem side?

Oh dear, Ranieri said if Chelsea were to lose 2 more games after Xmas then the Championship race would be over for them - 1 game to go, boys, after the Scousers beat ya . . .

Never mind no width, but they've got worse full-backs than Rangers, Johnson and Bridges, what an egg-yoke they both are. They'll be down to the standards of Kazhakstan and San Marino if they both get a game.

FD

p.s. CD ya diddy, they are talking about Man U after Trabelsi, not Agathe.

Ah, what would the day be without more gloating posts from Man Utd tossers. I admit we aren't going to win the title, we clearly never were this season, but still, i imagine we'll get a CL spot as per last year, above the scousers as well, naturally. ;) Perhaps they'll make the UEFA Cup again.

Well, Ranieri just got himself the sack. :D

Why is he the only guy in the country who doesn't realise teams won't come to the Bridge to attack? Why no width? We've beaten Liverpool everytime we've attacked them and lost everytime we haven't.

What were you thinking Ranieri?

Thoughts on next manager Prof? I'd take David Pleat at the minute! ;)

You say you needed width but the best player youve got who gives you that is Duff whos injured.Joe Cole is a good player but hes always gonna come inside and play narrow.

Why wasn't Gronkjaer on then? And if that's all the width you have, then Ranieri should take the blame because he could have bought anyone he wanted, and it's evident there's no cover on the wings at all.

We played a diamond, rather than with wingers. That was the problem.

Geremi could've played wide right, Jesper on the left. Both wide midfielders. Or Jesper on the right, Cole on the left. This one isn't ideal, but we've won lot's of games playing that way.

We gave oursleves no width and with the mickey mousers flooding the midfield, we just suffocated ourselves. The only time we got width was when the full backs came forward, and as they were completely unprotected, we got caught with a sucker punch goal.

Basic tactical mistakes.

What a goddamn, motherf*cking, asscrack-stinking pile of dung, boring, frustrating game that was! Arghhh, it's a hard time for a Chelski supporter right now. Nothing seems to be working. Our players seem to be uninspired, or unwilling. I don't know which, but it sucks all the same.

Well, no doubt the rumours will start again. What is it? 2 wins in 7? and no CL till February for Ranieri to change some minds. Hope you're joking about Pleat Terry  :l , because i wouldn't want him. My guess would be another foreign manager, if it was to happen, perhaps.......Italian ;) . However, it would be interesting to see an English manager at the Bridge again. What i want is a manager with an overwhelming mental influence, because that's where our biggest problem lies. When we're confident we're great, but as soon as the plot begins to get lost, the screws start coming out and disaster ensues. :l

Sounds like you was unfourtunate last nite and had lfc under the kosh for most of the match.

Reports that Roman is non-too pleased and you cant blame him after his investment, but IMO this season is already a big improvement on last year and if he's thinking money is gonna buy the league he's gonna be dissapointed, at the mo it seems like the Chelsea of old, but the attitude the club seemed to have towards the league wasnt gonna dissapear over nite and 3rd place is a good foundation to build off.

So on one hand its good to see you's humbled after lording up post Nov30th but on the other I dont want it to be just us and the goons challenging come march.
