I like Sullivan and let's face it, he looks miles better than Ambrosio! If Ranieri wasn't arsed about that game, he should have stayed at home - wasted opportunity for silverware in my opinion. :(

Yeh, I did. They're in a file with the links to Zidane, Ronaldo, Henry, Vieira, Vieri and Nedved. It's called the fictional journalism file. ;)

Actually Terry, had a staff party at the end of last week, got uncharacteristically drunk :colours: and so the weekend felt a bit :shaking:. But, hooray for the 1-0 over the little brother.
 
Oh dear Prof, at least it's traditional I suppose! ;)

Nice to win after what feels like a month, although our bad streak did have the benefit of keeping plastics away for a while ;)

LOL the vast majority of chelsea fans are plastic so no wonder its so quiet down there ;)

Another 1-0 for chelsea, not seen any footy from saturday so im not sure how either team played, I beleive Duff go injured though, will Zenden be recalled from Boro do you reckon?
 
I think he will be after a centre back and a striker. The striker I am reliably informed is Defoe, the centre back is apparently Ayala. Whether he'll get them, I don't know.

I dont think Ayala is gonna leave Valencia he could've gone to a host of big clubs this season but turned them all down, maybe the argentina connection may persuade him but I cant see it. Defoe is ideal really cos if you get another big name striker its gonna be hard leaving either them or Crespo/Mutu out whereas young players like Defoe cant really complain, he wants first team play everygame football he should stay at west ham.
 
Terry, don't you feel Defoe is a bit of a "Red Card Wonder?" We might me better of with Willem Defoe, the actor :mrgreen: . Or perhaps he's just trying to get out of favour at West Ham in order to leave. :l
Shame about Duff, looks like Joe Cole will be getting more games now.
 
About a month, loz.

Defoe has an attitude problem, but the one place he can get that fixed (rather than increased by certain other managers ;) ) is at the Bridge. Ranieri's great with the young lads.

I'd like to see Forsell back too, but that doesn't look like happening.

I think it's due to the fact that Arsenal and Man Utd have been battling pretty much alone for the title for a good few years now, Chelsea fans don't really annoy us that much yet as cocky united
 
Oh, I'm still here. I just haven't found anything intelligent to contribute to this thread, hehe.

Turned the telly on jsut as Gudjohnsen put that header wide. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the score. 4 points from the top now, but it's funny to see journalist and commentators quickly taking the opportunity to say this is the end of Chelsea's title hopes. I'm not even a Chelsea fan, but that's certainly not true. Anywho, Arse and United fans must be chuffed. Hard luck for you guys.
