Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

I just read an interview with Ganso, saying that he will play at Milan next year.... I don't know much about this guy.

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Paulo Henrique 'Ganso' is THE new Brazilian genius. I guess you're tired of seeing Neymar getting all the headlines and the spotlight. Neymar is a showman. Ganso is a 'Maestro', not the same type of 'Maestro' you used to see at San Siro with the #10 shirt but with such an outstanding ability and confidence.

Technically he is amazing, the passing ability is tremendous and tactically he is perfect (great positioning I must say). The main weakness (and he has to train it a lot if he wants to play in Europe at the big stage) is the tempo, I mean, he’s very slow when making the last pass. He goes into the attack and “stops” (let’s say, decreases the rhythm) to see who’s available to put the ball. In Brazil, the pace is very slow so he has no problems but in Europe is another story.

A Portuguese football expert calls Paulo Henrique as the "new Riquelme". I my opinion he can turn in a much better player than the Argentinian.

I believe he will fit very well in your team. AC Milan needs a truly 'Trequartista', how I miss Rui Costa old times.

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

How good is Lucas da Silva?
Page 13 mate.

And beautiful goal by Liedson, just like Ronaldo last year against the same Santos. Looks like Ronaldo retirement and RC leave made some real good for Corinthians, after all their replacements scored last match.

So Rentboy how does it feel to have both Arsenal and Fluminense completely "garfados" in the same weekend? :CONFUSE:
http://espn.estadao.com.br/carioca/...OGO+ACABA+COM+INVENCIBILIDADE+DO+FLU+E+LIDERA

Sorry, I only saw this now! Well, it was a dismal weekend, that one.
Arsenal picked themselves up, but I'm afraid Fluminense is going downhill :(
After losing to Boavista(!) we've just had our 2nd consecutive draw at home in the Libertadores.

I already had bad feelings towards Libertadores this year, and it is being confirmed... I'm not holding my breath. An elimination still in the group stages is quite a real possibility now...

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Wow! TV Globo for free until 14th March! I'm going to watch some Brazilian footie :BOP: (finally after years of absence in our television). Tonight Corinthians vs Ponte Preta my chance to see our beloved Liedson (yes, he played for Sporting but it's sad to see great players gone no matter if plays in your rival).

Off-topic: Globe Esporte is a damn show. Those Mexicans signing the Libertadores theme

Cristiane Dias is freaking hot btw. :DD

Globo esporte was better with Glenda Kozlowski imo

Btw, Liédson has the second higher goal per game ratio in the first six matches of Corinthians' history. Did you miss Ronaldo now TSO? :P

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Definitely not amigo lukas. I'm one of those who thought Ronaldo's best days were over. It was sad to see such a legend creeping over the field. He made the smartest decision by announcing his retirement.

Liedson is an amazing striker. Sporting fans are still wondering why their board has decided to release him for only 2M€, which is a real bargain when you look at his numbers. He's the type of a striker I love. Fast (even at the 33), smart, brave, a killer which never gives up, playing whole the game with such an energy and commitment. This is what Corinthians should be looking for: commitment. We don't want any more baladeiros like Adriano. For God sake I hope he goes to Flamengo or somewhere else.

I heard Diego Tardelli was sold to Russia. Shame. I thought Atlético MG had finally a team to play for titles. Frankly I don't understand this kind of moves. A year later Benfica and Porto were supposedly interested in him. Kalil asked both clubs a fee of around 15M€. Now they've sold him for 5M€. Our Cruzeiro friends must be happy.

Oh, and definitely my vote is to Cristiane but I reckon Glenda is such a interesting woman. :P

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

I don't like Diego Tardelli at all! Always thought he was over-rated. Bad attitude too. Not consistent either.

I agree with you about Ronaldo. It was the best decision (a bit too late tbh)

Even being a São Paulo fan, i hope the best for Liedson, i like him too.

OT: You know very well the brazilian culture, aswell the "gírias". All this just by watching soap operas? :P

I don't like Diego Tardelli at all! Always thought he was over-rated. Bad attitude too. Not consistent either.

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Thats Atletico Special One, they talk too much as usual, and I'm not saying that with Blue glasses.
If I was their fan, can't believe I'm considering this :P, but I'd be mad, wasn't this year supposed to be different, wasn't they suppose to have money, then they sell their big star for a value way below it was being speculated. Tho I think 5 million are for 60%
They are just a normal broke brazilian club like all of us, did you know they lost Diego Souza to Vasco too, one year ago that transfer was the #1 of our country, according to Kalil anyway, he even wore the #1 jersey.
If they were serious I'd take them serious.

Is Cristiane the short blondie? I barely watch globo esporte.

Oh and Isis is hawt! She was smoking in an old novela I can't remember the name, she was a girl that was looking for fame, I think it was 'Celebridade' but I think she lost her hotness a bit these days, maybe are her lately 'serious' characters.

I can't believe I'm the only one here who likes Diego Tardelli! When fit he's a tremendous striker. Unfortunately, like Sina said, the guy is too inconsistent and that's why he has never reached his potential.

Yeah sauce, I knew they have released Diego Souza to Vasco. What I didn’t know was that Bernardo also went to Vasco! I thought he was going to be a star in Cruzeiro. Honestly, I’ve never seen this guy before but I had him in a successful campaign with Santos in FM lol. He played very well against Duque de Caxias.

Talking about Santos, have you seen Neymar goals against Portuguesa? I don’t like his behavior but his talent is enormous. What a player! Surely better than Robinho at his age.

This one reminds Edmundo against Fla in 1995

Long off-topic:

@ Lukas-rod, Soap operas and friends lukas. When I attend the High School I met several Brazilians and made a few friends. One of them were a Corinthians member and we used to talk about football, that’s probably the reason I’m a corintiano (Tevez and co. were also important in my decision :D) So, this guy had a sister. The girl was fine, not being hot but fine and I’m the type of guy who likes to joke around (you have already noticed that) so I used to say: “Hey bro, you’re sister is filé (for non-Portuguese speakers it means hot or something like that). The guy got mad all the time wanting to punch me! Good old times. :))

@ sauce, Isis Valverde is a truly beauty. I guess you're talking about his role in "Beleza Pura" where she played Rakelli, a periguete looking for fame. Now, I'm watching her in "Ti-ti-ti" (a crappy soap opera imo) with a totally different role, more serious and responsible (well, not that much, she got pregnant in the first episodes ).

I'm currently re-watching "Alma Gémea", one of my favourite all-time soap operas. I love Flávia Alessandra! She's a hell of an actress! The role she plays on is fantastic. That Cristina, oh man, I love her so bad!

Ok, you can call me noveleiro.

Oh, and yes, Cristine is the short blondie. :P

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Bernardo scored a hat trick on this weekend, and gave an assist too but I'm not sure about the assist.
On his first matches here he was very good I believe the only reason he left was the coach we had back there, the famous Adilsinho :P
Though Bernardo was very inconsistent at that time, but heck he was very young, and Cruzeiro had some good options in that position.
Last season he was very good at Goiás already and seems like he is feeling home in Vasco, so I don't think he will want a comeback here unfortunately, depending on how the rest of the season goes of course, cause Brasileirão is lot tougher than Carioca also if he keeps doing great Europe is most likely his destiny later.

About Neymar, yea he is slightly better than Robinho was at that age, cause that were probably Robinho's best years.
Yep Neymar attitude is 'moleque' but I think eventualy he will cool down and his talent will explode, he gots Robinho as an example of 'what not to do' ffs, he can't be that childish.

Oh and very on-topic now (Novelas and Babes are never off-topic here)
Ti-ti-ti is ridiculous indeed but I like Jaques Leclair and some silly characters, but I think thats the novela Isis lost her mojo with me, shes just so boring there.

Hahaaa :D Oh crap I think I'm a noveleiro too, but truly I only watch some random scenes when I'm usually having a snack that time.
Next novela das 7 looks even more ridiculous than Ti-ti-ti by the way, I think I'm cutting that snack-novela time :P

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Oh sorry about the slang Sina,

Its something like childish, but some people use it in a good way, like Ahhh moleque!

Could be smart-kid or immature-kid.

Oh and I meant immature.

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Busy times at Brazilian football lately. Too many things happened in a short period of time. Atlético Mineiro brought Guilherme, former Cruzeiro killer and "torcida" idol but then Cruzeiro bounced back signing Brandão from Marseille. Corinthians signed Adriano (a shame but ok it's just my opinion) and saw Bruno César left to Lisbon to play for Benfica. Luciano Huck aka Rogério Ceni scored his 100th goal against... Corinthians! :( Besides, after 4 years São Paulo finally beat Corinthians in the so called "Derby Majestoso". Back to Belo Horizonte, an unsettled Jobson wants to move out of Atlético Mineiro (really, this club seems a damn big circus, a shame because I actually sympathize with them). What happened in Rio? Oh, almost forgot, Vasco won a title, a World title... in Beach Soccer! But is still a title!

I've been told that Cruzeiro offered Wellington Paulista to Benfica. Actually, I don't know to much of this guy but I assume if he plays at Cruzeiro he should be a good player, maybe like the one you sold us 2 years ago.

Off-topic (there's always an off-topic talk in here): I found the reason why sauce apparently don't like Isis Valverde. The fact is, Isis is atleticana (Atlético MG fan). After a brief search I realise that hot girls are Atlético fans: Daniela Cicarelli, Isis Valverde, Natália Guimarães and Priscila Fantin are few examples. In that department, my friend: Atlético > Cruzeiro.

I fell in love with Milena Toscano. I saw this girl in a novela a few years ago and then I had no more sign of her. Last week, "Araguaia" has premiered in Portugal and the chick immediately held my attention. Her eyes, oh man, her eyes! Love it!

By the way, what the hell is Dentinho doing in that semi-porn movie starred by Deborah Secco? Roger mermão, tu perdeu preiboy!

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

because I actually sympathize with them
Oh my goodness! For real amigo? You have quite some bad taste sometimes huh? Real Madrid, Corinthians, Atlético MG and the New York Knicks! :P Ok the Knicks were kinda of cool back in the day but still, you know your girls but when it come to sports  :P

Atlético Mineiro brought Guilherme, former Cruzeiro killer and "torcida" idol
That would be a 'killer' buy if he was not another former Cruzeiro guy, I don't know why they insist on these buys, since almost none of them succeeded.
I think it makes them look like amateurs who have no idea what they are doing so they do like their opponent does.
If this happened once in a while wouldn't have that problem specially on a good player like Guilherme, it would be just a steal like they whish all these guys were.
But going over and over again putting serious pressure on these player, make them diss our side in the press is just amateur.

I've been told that Cruzeiro offered Wellington Paulista to Benfica. Actually, I don't know to much of this guy but I assume if he plays at Cruzeiro he should be a good player, maybe like the one you sold us 2 years ago.
You see the fame we got! 'If he plays for us he should be a good player' Maybe you're sympathizing with the wrong side :P
We got that from being professionals and independent over the last years, even if we have some amateur decisions lately, like insisting Wellington Paulista is good enough to be our #9, yes I would not recommend that guy, he got good fighting spirit and thats it, he got more negatives than positives, the biggest negative being dive, he got to be 'the diver' of Brazilian football nowadays. And he tries too much to become an idol, with doubtious behaviour off the field, you know always 'forçando a barra' declaring love to the fans no matter what.

Well they got to have something bad to compensate their good looks right? :P

I fell in love with Milena Toscano. Last week, "Araguaia" has premiered in Portugal and the chick immediately held my attention. Her eyes, oh man, her eyes! Love it!
 I love when I get home early enough to catch Araguaia, that city got some serious babes! From the cowgirl to the indian to the 3 sisters to the other sister to the police captain

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Are you guys following Paulo Henrique Ganso soap opera? I believe our Interisti and Milanisti amici around here would be very interested in these recent news. So, according to several Brazilian sources, Ganso and Santos have broken negotiations regarding the contract renew. Paulo Henrique current contract ends in 2015 and his release clause is something about 50M€, a fee too high for eventual suitors. Just like Neymar, who renewed his contract 2 or 3 months ago increasing his salary, Ganso were offered a new contract recently. Even though the new contract would make Ganso a richer man, the player and his agents didn’t sign the deal because of the release clause value. Ganso wants to diminish the fee to the 30M€ in order to catch the fancy of European big sharks. Therefore the negotiation went down. However, and according to recent news, Paulo Henrique’s agents offered his rights to several Brazilian clubs. The explanation is pretty simple: the release clause fee for Brazilian clubs is lower – it’s said to be worth 26M€. So the media are speculating this scenario: a European club deposits the money in a Brazilian club, let’s say Corinthians for instance, Ganso stays at Timão during 3 months and then “Bye bye Brazil. Hello Italy!”. I don’t know if you lot are getting what I’ve been trying to explain but this kind of moves are a bit complicated to explain, I’m still trying to catch all the info to be honest.
The players are becoming too greedy for my standards. I thought home-growth players were less greedy and more committed. I'm a big big fan of his talents but his character and his recent behaviour are nothing more than shameful.

In other news, Corinthians want Seedorf. Nice! According to Ronaldo, his agency group is negotiating with Clarence Seedorf a possible move to Brazil. The Dutch player already expressed his desire to play in Brazil any day. Furthermore, his wife is Brazilian thus the sign appears to be imminent.

Oh my goodness! For real amigo? You have quite some bad taste sometimes huh? Real Madrid, Corinthians, Atlético MG and the New York Knicks! :P Ok the Knicks were kinda of cool back in the day but still, you know your girls but when it come to sports  :P

Just to clarify, I don’t like Atlético Mineiro as I like Corinthians my friend because I’m a citizen of República Popular do Corinthians, one of the biggest Nations in the World. :D Perhaps you can call me an Atlético “follower” as I used to check their results, stats and so on. Well, I sympathize with then mainly because of their coach. Dorival Júnior managed to build a fantastic Santos side back in 2010. In my opinion, that team played the most attractive football I’ve seen in Brazilian football these days. I wouldn’t mind to have this guy at Parque São Jorge. Besides there are many Atlético players I like a lot, such as Réver or Diego Tardelli. Ups, Tardelli is no longer at BH!

According to your analysis of Wellington Paulista I must say I’m glad he went to Palmeiras! If he’s that bad Benfica is better off without him!

Let’s go to the off-topic talk hehe:
I love when I get home early enough to catch Araguaia, that city got some serious babes! From the cowgirl to the indian to the 3 sisters to the other sister to the police captain

The police captain, actually I can’t remember any police woman in Araguaia! Maybe I’m looking too much at Milena instead of searching some other babes around! There’s a scene I watch in promos where she’s lying in a tree with a waterfall behind her, man, that scene is something like me – Special :LMAO: - egocentric moment à la Patrick Jane.
Unfortunately I can’t find the vid of that scene. :(

that was a sad display by Corinthians, on sunday, in the semifinal against Palmeiras. with a man advantage, yet seemingly playing for a draw & penalties. still hope they win the Paulistão though :P

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

Santos is too strong for Timão IMO, especially after Muricy signing, the best Brazilian manager so far. I haven't seen any of games but according to last streaks of both teams Santos are the favs. 0-2 at Morumbi is an impressive result.

Oh btw, ridiculous injury by Valdivia hahaha is what you take to play in that horrible green shirt. :D (I'm just kidding right, I don't wish any kind of injury to anyone)

On a side note, as I earlier said (you don't need to be an expert to realise that), Adriano signing was a disaster for Corinthians.

And congrats to Flamengo fans, win both Taça Rio and Taça Guanabara isn't an easy task.

After a brief search I realise that hot girls are Atlético fans: Daniela Cicarelli, Isis Valverde, Natália Guimarães and Priscila Fantin are few examples. The reason for that is pretty simple, most of those girls came from the richiest neiborhoods here in Belo Horizonte(specially Cicarelli and Fantin), and despite what the mith and the national media says, Atletico is the elite's team here in our city, their club is located in the richiest area of the city (South) and only in this specific region they have more supporters than Cruzeiro(id say barely though, i live in the South region too).

They started calling Atletico the peoples club here in the 80's but that has changed drastically in the past 2 decades as proven in various researches.

Re: Brasileirão 2011 | State Championships

So you are saying that you are elite :P I'm Zona Leste :(

But yes there are rich families in Atletico side, and they are crazy enough to invest in football.

By the way, what a sad day for Brazilian clubs. I'm out of words.

What happened?

Cruzeiro , Inter , Fluminense , Gremio all got knocked out yesterday night in Libertadores...

Catastrophe!
