Too Black, Too Strong

Wenger obviously knows something we don't.
At least he's changed the tactical setup to something more suitable.

yea he knows how to stay in a top team without winning a single trophy for 5 years. i dont think even united have that much patience.
The thing is wenger is obsess about getting a player that scored 13 goal last term in ligue 1 and that have not prove anything yet, to me hes chamakh is a kid with talent but I doubt will develop into a zlatan style striker, I mean Arsenal and sunderland are interested in him, thats means alot about his quality... oh well
well ,I`m judging by past behavior and spending doesn`t always equal ( = ) success. I wont compare us to other clubs ,but players like flamini,Hleb,Reyes, and Ade are the ones I`m speaking about it goes both ways I guess paddy,Pires,Ljungberg..etc. went out the door so loyalty was a poor word to used![]()
players will try and leave rather then sort out their career beyond 30. Wenger puts a fear on players at 28 whose contract is ending and rightly so, but it`s interesting to see gallas might extend his year by year.Pires and ljungberg wanted a 2yr contract and Silva if memory serves me right he wanted AW to show some loyalty ,but Wenger is cut-throat even Titi felt his neck being sized upI don't know exactly what you meant, but Paddy, Pires and Ljungberg were all dropped by AW. That's the problem with his policy, no space for a legend ending his career at Arsenal anymore. The last was Bergkamp. But the others are always dropped in their early 30's. So when players don't stay loyal to Arsenal, we must remember that.
Well between Subotic and Hangeland, I'd rather the Norwegian. He's had a great season at Fulham and their defense managed some clean sheets that really impressed me. Hats off to Hodgson as well.
But regarding Hangeland, the thing is, he's very well adjusted to the Prem style and pace, whereas the other lad could struggle in the beginning. Besides, the price tag of 12M suggested by the article is a lot of money for a 20 yr old CB!
You can't even think about Subotic, believe me that he will
not leave Dortmund for the next 2 years![]()
A 4-3-3 is the logical formation to play, I'm sure someone like Song would do good in that formation, guarding the back four, if Wenger doesn't bring in a DM, as he'll have Fabregas and Denilson/Diaby alongside him to help try and win a midfield battle, so he wouldn't be as stretched as he would be in a 4-4-2.Yeah, he's too young and deserves 1st team football at Dortmund! It would be a shame if he left there to become a substitute.
BTW, I've just read an interesting article on BBC about The Professor
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/a/arsenal/8192417.stm
But it also says Wenger intends to change his formation to a 4-3-3
Don't we already look thin at the back?
