0 pts after 4 games on the cards?

worst ever start to a CL campaign , EVER!!!! :JAY: W4nger misplaced his f`'n mind. Cech is not injured...calf injury my arse!!!

Ospina royally fucked up ..who backs down on a air ball? No one ya tip it over ffs!

Sanchez again played above normal today! immense ,none could match his magic tonight.

He has a chance. CFC are on a tightrope from now on and we're a sucker for complacency. Toss up between who's better out of Utd and Arsenal

Far bigger chance than the CL tho. The notion that he can beat one of the elite 3 over 2 legs is basically preposterous

Think he wants the PL so he can retire on a high next year. He knows he's not gonna win the CL.

I think the title is still on ground zero. When MCity is losing silly points and Chels hasn't left to the races. Its very comfortable. I think MCity can lose more ground w/o panicking . I wonder though how English clubs are looking at Europe like.... Don't want to give the other clubs a leg up . This might be the lowest point spread for the title, maybe historic .

He's not going to win the league with this current side either.

Last season we were in the title for 2wks , gk plunders, but last weekend beating Leicester away was very convincing ... No? They were unbeaten . I know consistency is key but who is atm? More games played , more risk of injury . No club has a good enough replaceable squad MCity are weaker w/o player of the year 'Silva'.

I hope Liverpool gets 4th and Chels 6th .. I luv it!! Won't happen .

Defences normally win leagues, yours is probably the least convincing out of the potential contenders

really!? that`s strange,I guess allowed goals says otherwise. Chelsea allowed 14 goals after (7) matches:SHOCK: . Let`s see how Mutd fares after Arsenal(A),Everton(A) & MCity(H).I could be wrong -_- ..The table shows no side is much weaker or stronger and tbh its way too early (although I wasn`t comparing neither sides, you did.).If, defense is Key I think we're better w/ Cech then what we had before...That Leicester match was lightening fast and the saves were critically immense.Per is smart but slow and was coming in a game w/o match sharpness.

Yeah Chelsea aren't contenders at this point, its between both Manchester clubs and Arsenal.

Your right though its early days, but if im honest I genuinely think were the wild card, I dont know how good we are or if we can mantain a title push.

Its City's to lose.

I think man Utd is the team with the least strenghts, but also the one with the least weaknesses. And they have the league's best GK.

This makes them favourites for me.

Arsenal have the best squad depth (City the least) and they have the best individual player (Sanchez). But they lack consistency.

With Aguëro - Silva - De Bruyne and (much less, he's overrated, has only one foot) Sterling, City have the most potent attacking force and on top of that they have Yaya Touré. But they have defensive frailties. Hart seems to have improved enormously, Kompany is much better than last year but he is injury prone. I'm not sure about the other central defenders and City's DMF's are not top class either...

Above all, City has to perform in the CL, for Arsenal it could already be over and for Man Utd it's the cherry on the cake...but not that important.

And now something outrageous: i don't think Spurs are a worse team than Arsenal. At the moment Spurs have the best defense in the league and they already played against two of the 4 big clubs. They were unlucky to loose against United and Lucky to win against City, but imo the difference between them and both those clubs isn't that big...

And then there is Chelsea, don't write them off. If Chelsea sack Mourinho soon enough, they can still become champions... Same goes for Liverpool and Rodgers....i wonder which of both those clubs will end up with Jurgen Klopp...my bet is on Chelsea.

I'm lost ? Since ,we don't read thoughts, care to write the logic? Mutd are ? Why? I'm baffled , 7 games this can't be validated . MCity finishes on top by the weekend does everything get tossed.

I agree with Gerd, I think, about United. Almost going down the later good Mourinho Chelsea teams - won't necessarily create much but give away a really low number of chances each match, which statistically means we shouldn't drop many points. The whole model is built upon limiting risk, and hoping your quality players can sneak a goal.

But, that approach has pretty much never won the premier league. And more importantly, the quality of opposition across the league is MUCH higher than in any other league in Europe right now - there are incredibly few 'easy' matches. (sunderland aside)

I just think over the whole season, City are going to win a lot more matches with their attack. I still think they'll comfortably win the title, unless Arsenal can pull their finger out.

I don't get what it is wrong with Arsenal. The squad is settled, they should know each other and come on, how can you not create chances with Sanchez, Ozil, Carzola all on the pitch? So good. I really thought this might be the year Wenger gets it right too...

Well can you name me an Obvious weakness in Man Utd squad?

A very bad defense? Don't think so.
Rubbish midfield? With Mata, Carrick, Herrera and others? Seems pretty good to me.
Upfront? Martial, Memphis, Rooney (he may come good) and let's not forget the target holding midfielder centre forward Fellaini.

They don't have the blingbling players like Sanchez and Özil, but they have a solid squad that will not loose lots of matches.

I also don't know what is wrong with Arsenal, but with this squad and this manager they will never ever be contenders...never.

City will have problems because their squad is not strongenough, Saturday Spurs had a stronger bench than City...Spurs! Come on, surely not Spurs ? Yes, just take a look...

To point the wrong at this stage mean absolutely nothing... Gerd used the word never! with that certainty no need to discuss anything. The only certainty I can say w/ Arsenal is that Wenger will leave when he wants. I think the story at the back is obviously there for even the blind to see. The first choice fullbacks are behind the 2nd choice fullbacks. I'll go further and say the first Choice is actually in the reserve team.

Gibbs/Debuchy
Monreal/Chambers
?/Bellerin

The problem is Per was gone for nearly a month . He established a good partnership with Kosc . What I don't understand is Theo, he is not a (ST) A pig is a pig regardless what you dress it as. should of given RM £60m for Benzema. The weakness is there , but must be sad for Gibbs/Debuchy they dropped so behind not even flies hover over their shit.

It's just a question of how many goals Lewandowski will get on the first game, before an already qualified Bayern loses concentration in the 2nd match where we could win. It's happened before on knockout stages. From there on, Arsenal would have to win all matches.
In the end, it wouldn't change much for us, we're already used to qualifying always 2nd and getting out at the last 16.
But if we end up going to Europa League, there's a tournament we would have a shot at winning. Heh

Seriously though: how on earth we spend 12m on Cech, only to play Ospina in the tournament we work our arses off to be in yearly?

That goal from the Olympiakos corner... that was Fabianski material right there. We cannot afford these brain farts and if the Champions League is over for us because of that, I say well done. A lesson to be learned there, a real eye opener.

An obvious weakness for Utd is CB if Smalling gets injured. They might be able to grind out resullts still if Martial gets injured but who can take over from Smalling? Rojo? Carrick?

As things stand tho, I think Utd will lose less games than Arsenal but Arsenal might get more wins.

Our squad is strong enough. We've been unlucky with injuries so far. By my count we've had 21 injuries. Any team would have problems with that

Hart, Zabaleta (yet to play), Kompany (x2), Mangala, Clichy (yet to play), Fernando, Delph (x2 yet to play), Toure, Silva (x2), Nasri (x3), Aguero, Bony (x3), Iheanacho (x2)

I suppose if Smalling picks up an injury Jones could replace him with Blind at CB and Valencia as right-back with Darmian on the left.

Title is a pipe-dream. Not a chance we'll win it. The team is potentially good enough to win it but tactically and psychologically they are not up for it, simple as that.

Arsenal will never win the title with Wenger. Never. If we want changes, we should wait Wenger's retire, because this man will never go out from the club by himself. After this disgraces like 2-8, 0-6 and so on...
