Arsenal Thread

excellent choice for me is a player that will walked into the team and make an impact. This guy is not fit and will need to adjust and by then the season will be over :) Im not against it < im not convinced either .

All I have to say about Mourinho in all fairness is that he's probably the biggest cunt ever seen in the Cunt Managers League.
A single irresponsible phrase out of that rotten mouth of his was responsible for the end of Anders Frisk's career and the death threats from the Chavs supporters that ensued.

Now Mourinho directs his bile toward Arsene Wenger and saying shit like "we all know how Wenger is, he is constantly moaning", only to moan himself about Arsenal being 'benefited by the FA' with the schedule! He actually said that Arsenal gets help with the schedule for being the only ones who play on Friday and can rest more until Tuesday. The fucking cunt! He should be sued by the FA and Arsenal for even suggesting that.
Did it ever occur to him that we played at the Etihad Stadium on a Saturday mid-day kickoff shortly after coming from Naples?
Who the hell he thinks he is to say who's benefited and who's not? And to say Wenger moans about everything when he does it himself straight after? The ultimate hypocrite, that bellend Mourinho.

Now maybe Wenger is, first of all, still bitter for not being able to have signed Mata - we all remember how Chelsea hijacked the deal with their dirty money from under Wenger's nose. Now it doesn't matter to Arsenal because we have Özil, thank you very much.
Secondly, Wenger has a point when he says the January transfer window can completely skew the league and the Premiership should do away with it.

What we have here is clearly the case of a club that blatantly throws money everywhere without much thought or effort, pretty much hit and miss stuff. But after a while they are controlling some important assets out of their club in a way that influences results in which Chelsea should have nothing to do with.
They can afford to keep Demba Ba in the freezer, paying his wages to keep him at home, loan a striker as Lukaku (who's probably more effective right now than Eto'o and Torres put together) to a strong up and coming Everton (who can obviously hurt Arsenal, City and Liverpool, but not Chelsea due to the loan contract terms) and sell Juan Mata to United, who has already played Chelsea twice and will still face all the other main competitors.

This Mata move now, call it whatever you want, but it's just another coup in a rather unfair strategy of manipulating and disrupting the balance of the league.
And please would someone remind me when the fuck is that FFP rubbish supposed to kick in?
Cause while they laugh on the face of UEFA, they'll keep doing their thing and in no time the sugar daddy clubs will have satellite clubs in the Premiership if things carry on like this.

 You guuuuys

This afternoon Wenger has responded to these acusations with facts, and unlike Mourinho, didn't resort to personal attacks, retaining his class as usual.

Here's the news clip from Arseblog: http://news.arseblog.com/2014/01/wenger-arsenal-get-less-rest-not-more/

And for me the highlight was Arseblog calling Mourinho the "eye-gouger of people with cancer"
He couldn't have said it better! Sums up the character in a nutshell!

bringing out 'fahcts' at a press conference isn't the best idea going forward if looking back on how that went a couple years back but we'll see who get's the last laugh in this scenario.

Well it seems a research was made by an independent company, therefore the findings are facts indeed, not 'facts' or opinions.

As for what happened a couple of years ago, what do you mean? Between Wenger and Mourinho?

There's a huge difference in listing a group of facts and stating' I'm going by facts not opinions' . Wenger is not concern by personal attacks it's water dripping off his back . Fixtures are a old argument the more games you have the more scheduling piling. Mou went on specific on Arsenal's last 4 seasons ... Mou wants to give the media what they want a war of words. Wenger is in a better surrounding n has more control of the club then Mou. Jealousy is ugly , no need to argue w/ it!

Young is comparing Rafa vs Fergie... Imo that doesn't come close Rafa was bother by Fergie influence . Wenger don't care lol

We are playing super shit, hopefully we can play 1million times better in the second half, this is dreadful.

We need all the points from this going into Feb and March

This is not cool. This is NOT cool at all. The fact that we might lose the lead to either City or Chel$ea pisses off my day.

On the other hand, my dear Wimbleddon beat Hartlepool 2-1! :D

Well, it could have been worse. We're still 2nd and only a point behind City. I can see the future: this weekend José will park the bus and City will painfully split the points with Chelski. That's where we take the opportunity to beat Palace at home and get back in front :D

Yesterday the team didn't play well at all from what I heard (I couldn't watch it), but at least they came out with a point. Southampton isn't such an easy fixture, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think neither City or Chelsea could manage a win there?

Anyway, our injury and suspension problems are piling up at a crucial part of the season. That's a worry. I hope Ramsey and Wilshere can make it back in time for the Champions League fixtures.

And Flamini was just plain ridiculous, he not only collected 5 yellows before January, now he gets a straight red and therefore is suspended for 4 matches! That is bloody ridiculous. He will miss Palace, Liverpool, United and Liverpool (FA Cup).
Arteta will be demanded a lot in this period, let's hope he can cope.

Let's keep the faith in the boys!

A GREAT number 5 who played at Super Lyon for 6 years :D
Also part of that Sweedish Golden Generation with Ljungberg, Larsson, Mellberg, Allback...
An experienced replacement for Wilshere and Ramsey

Källström has a superb left foot. He's a CM, I'm not sure how he would fare as a DMF and we're loaded with midfielders right now. Somehow doesn't ring true, but I wouldn't mind having this guy in the Arsenal shirt at all!

Wow it was true then!

Typical Wenger
When everyone wanted a CB he bought Arshavin.
Now everyone was claming for a CF, he goes for Källström.

Good stuff. He's a good player, I can see him helping us a lot. Wecome to the Gunners, Kim!

Agree with Rentboy, Källström isn't a bad signing at all. Lots of people complaining.

Also read that the board wanted to pay 38m for Draxler but Wenger rejected it himself because he thought it was above Draxlers value.

Just hoping we can get a striker, but it's not looking very likely.

Sky now reporting that Newcastle have rejected a loan bid from us for Papiss Cissé. >_> Really
