I think they may be drowning in their sorrows. It was so jubilant in this thread before the game, now its dead without a arsenal fan in sight.

Noone is being a asshole so shut up if you got nothing better to say. Yeah they may of progressed further than most teams but that counts for nothing if you end up trophyless.

i beat my chest wit confidence and tell you that this was a very successful campaign.... this arsenal team with a make shift defence recorded or set a new european record before been with in the finals... they can only get better... dont care what you think... a team that lost one of its most influential player and captain... defeated the likes of real madrid... juventus.. ..even villareal and lost just one game on its way to the finals....wit youngsters....

... i am no hater... but IMHO...arsenal would have given them a run for thier money on wednesday nite.. had the referee made a common sense decision on dat day..

When i think of the opening stages of that game and how we started i can only think of what a final we would have witness... all well and good ...

Back to the local front... this was our worst seasons in the last 8 -9 years... and we were still able to make into europe... the future looks so bright for arsenal..... young and battle tested players... emirates stadium... it doesnt get no better...

need i remind you that spurs had one thier best seasons in their history and we had one of worst seasons and yet they couldnt even better our record... wat that means ... they nothing but domestic underachievers..

dont need to mention it.... because i believe u already know... that they was no foul play in the hotel.........so you go figure......

You contradict yourself, first you tell me you beat your chest with confidence cuz you think it was a very successful campaign, your words not mine. Then you say its one of your worst seasons in the last 8-9years, make up your mind.

If you mean "you" as in Liverpool then I don't think so, Liverpool played 63 games this season won 2 cups was robbed of a third, last 16 of CL and still finished 15 points more than the gonads. Tell me Milan what have you achieved in the last two years other than a great friendship with the scum from west London. ;)

Hard luck for you goons nevertheless.I was rooting for you lot actually cos I believe the underdogs would play the better game.Remember the assistant referee case a few days before the final,where he was seen and picture wearing the Barca shirt? I think its a smoke-screen.The actual fan is actually Terje Hauge!! Better Luck next season lads.

For all Arsenal fans, congratulations for the great campaign. You did well, Barcelona is a great team, the best of the world in my opinion. And you did a great game, but soccer is like that...

at least henry is staying u dumbo. arsenal will come bk stronger next year. ur worst nightmare is finaly a reality :)

Well I really enjoyed by 24 hours in Paris!

To be present at the Champions League Final watching possibly the best club side in the world take on our beloved club in the biggest club game in world was something to behold.

The atmosphere during the whole day was fantastic, the majority of the Barca fans were great, they wanted pictures with us, to swap shirts. It was a party atmosphere.

Pre-match, I saw some guy try to scale the perimeter fence and get over it, another fan then followed. Then a thrid guy had a go but got himself impaled on one of the spikes. It was horrendous, he had one leg either side of the fence. I don't even want to think about where the spike went. Paramedics were called and apparently it took them nearly an hour to lift him off. :-&

You've all seen the game. The ref was bad for both sides, although he did seem quick to book our players and then be more lenient to Barca. The best team won on the night but we can be proud of the our performance. We were 14 minutes away from another shut out and the glory that would have come with it but at the end it wasn't to be.

I feel that we have finally come of age in Europe this season and Wenger has found a formula that works. We will be back next year, no question. There is plenty more to come from this team.

Met some Rangers fans in bar after and got chatting. They could see we were down and their jovial humour lifted our spirits. They then left and 5 mins later the waiter brings over a bottle champagne that they had ordered (and paid for!) for us. Top gesture!! :applause:

Also during the match I sat in fornt of Ainsley Harriott, all I can is: what a miserable git!

Im glad Henry is staying in the premeirship. Never did i say i wanted him to leave your club. He is one of the few players in the arsenal squad i like. He is passionate,honest says what is on his mind and has class on and off the pitch. Sure he would of been better off with class players around him at Barcelona, but arsenal is his home and kinda made him the player he is today. As i said before most top players that leave arsenal either end up as flops or the new team doesnt have the success they desired. PLus he would have just been another player at Barce where at Arsenal he is the star man.

Arsenal officially will be saved cuz i dont think they would have done any justice next season without Henry.

I have never had so much love for one man than the love I have for Titi :D Our inspriation, our talisman, our flair, our pride, our best player ever (surely) and our captain.

Paddy was the general, a great player and a legend who will never be forgotten, but Henry is something else, a level above. His captaincy is one of cool-headed composure and leading by example. He has matured twice over this year. The captain's band has grown on him immeasurably, and in my opinion at least, made him the finished article. Henry IS Arsenal. Ask any football fan to say the first image that comes in to their head when they think of the team and I promise 99% will say:

He's the king of Highbury, soon to be the king of Ashburton Grove. He's become the one player we have that even fans of other clubs can stomach out of sheer respect for a great player and a great man. He's a testament to old school respect and loyalty, faith in the people who made you what you are and overall humility in the face of seemingly neverending superlatives and praise.

We love you Titi, statues will be built!

Yeah congrats on keeping henry, wouldn't have been the same league without him! (And more than likely the gunners, still dont' know how they would have sans thierry!)

Its like arsenal have signed a new player. Im sure thats the feeling amongst the fans today. they are even having a press conference at 2pm.

As i said im glad he is staying for you guys. The last player to have such a legendary impact on the premiership was probably Eric Cantona. We all knowthe premership felt less exciting when he retired.

I think you can kiss the Henry as* because says no too all biggest clubs in Europe for alot of money, only for the Arsenal love.
