lol. You're talking about the cheating that they do. I dont admire the cheating. I meant how they are hungry for every victory and dont seem lazy and complacent at any time. Other teams arent like that as often which is why Chelsea are so consistent.

It five years to the day that Rocky died, doesn't time fly. Think I may make a small donation to the Rocastle foundation today in memory of the legend that was David Rocastle.
 
Rocky was my favourite player when he played for us. I was gutted when Georgie sold him to Leeds and bought John Jensen as his replacement.

The day he died was very sad. We played Spurs that day and it was very emotional. It seemed poignant that Robert Pires scored wearing the number 7 shirt that day, the number Rocky had worn with such distinction in his time with Arsenal.

RIP Rocky.
 
Indeed, what a legend. Just true grit and determination, that's all any fan would ask from a player. I was a bit young when they sold him in '92 (?) but my uncle always said he was his favorite player in the league winning side of '91.

We've got back to that stage of believing we'll win every game. I really is all about confidence. Beating united is so essential, in terms of points and confidence, if we win that one I'm sure we'll get 4th, and that could keep Henry. It's such an important game, but we can't lose focus from wednesday night, we just need to put in a solid performance and maybe grab a goal and we'll be fine.
 
I get the feeling that Henry is looking at the squad and actually believing they can do well.

One thing I noticed about the game is that the pitch was just filled with these athletic tall and technique gifted players - much like Henry. After seeing the goals Henry scored today, I'll love to see him stay...he is a blessing to the Premiership imo..
 
I just saw the goals and they were superb. Does anybody have the second from Henry and the goal by Van Persie?

Too right, the boy has amazing skills. He nearly scored a wonder goal against Spurs reserves the other night.

Just read his profile on some other site, sounds like a he was a good player during his time.

Never got to see him since i was really young at the time, only just found out about him on the Arsenal site.

I'm worried about OUR weakened side. Of course because we've been on such a good form, its easy to forget the holes we have in our squad.

It's also easy to forget we haven't had our first team left back since October, or any kind of left back since November.

It's gonna be a cracking game tomorrow. But I'm quite sure we'll get thorugh, because we're on a confidant run at the moment.
