adebayor is exciting to watch,i don`t know why?i don`t like Lehman that much,the save was o.k.,but gerrard kick was weak ....come on Arsenal get in it..even SirFergie is there watching

Oh come on referee excuses already? Nobody on the pitch for arsenal besides ljunberg and adebayor looked bothered. The penalty was very harsh in the first half but justice was served. After that arsenal deserved to lose.

Thats the worst side i've seen you lot have for years - BUT you couldnt get the ball off us at times. Its such a shame our strikers couldnt hit a barn door with a spade or we would have picked up many more points recently than we have.

Lehmann is having a brilliant season, he's the best keeper in the prem at the moment on current form. I don't think you can say anything negative about his display last night!
 
Insepid, weak, gutless, shite, passionless, I could go on but whats the point?

Pires, Henry and Gilberto should be ashamed to pick up their inflated salaries this week, they were a disgrace. Henry looks like a confused man and its affecting the whole side. We need to buck our ideas up sharpish otherwise there will be NO european football at Ashburton next season which would be a tradegy. :sad:

Jens is now showing what a fantastic keeper he really is, he can be proud of how he played, he is the only one who can though mind.

Good to have Kolo back though...

Right, well for starters 4-5 players were absolutley crap on teh ball, Fabergas was made to look like a kid in a playground of adults, gilberto kept losing the ball needlessly, flamini seemed to make all the wrong runs or pass's, senderous was never convincing in his challenges or marking, ljunnberg couldnt do fuck all to Riise he got owned by him, Henry's touch was disgusting, all in all an absolute disgrace.

Where the hell was our passing game? pass and move? why all this knocking long ball to adebaydor? he was the only one doing decent knock offs but only then for our wide man to lose the ball with shite pass's.

That was the key, our wide man were fucking shite, why did we sell so many talented players we are missing them all now.

In contrast liverpools wide men gerrard and kewell got the better of thier men, had more composure and put some sublimnal balls into the box, one of gerrards left foot cross's was awesome, power and pace just requiring a decent striker to finish, i tell you if liverpool had a forward on form they would have trashed us 4 or 5-0.


And i want to blame Fabergas completely for the goal, watch the replays and you will see, the ball comes out fabergas is facing towards our own net behind him is ljundberg, if fab had left the ball ljundberg could have bought the ball down and kicked or ran it out of teh danger area, but what does fab do? he heads the ball with piss poor power straight into hammans path, all he does is put it into his path and blam hits a sweet shot which in most cases woul dhave been a goal had it not been for the keeper, the follow up was then converted.
 
If I was Wenger I would have Gilberto on that bench and Diaby in straight away. Gilberto is such a little pussy in the tackles that I hope he does get injured going in half heartedly as he has been.

Dropping players for the Madrid game could kick people into gear. I'd throw Walcott in on the right, switch Freddie to the left and stick Diaby in the middle with Cesc.

I thought Eboue had a pretty sound game last night, he got forward at every oppurtunity and dealt with Liverpools attacking threat well.
 
hey guys one of my theories is I dont think arsenal can deal with big wide pitchs, are the guys too used to playing at the smaller highbury? we lacked witdh so badly last night it was disgusting?

I wished Diaby played he could have at least gone toe to toe with sissoko in mids.
 
yes eboue is quality and one for the future, fuck why dont we go and buy YAYA toure too and the two brothers could be our two centeral defenders?

Fabergas is a pussy too mate, Gilberto just played shit last night.

Yep arsenal did struggle when they had wembly as their home ground in champions league one season. It be interesting to see how the cope at new stadium with such a big pitch which they are not use to.
I do not understand why arsenal consist of playing gilberto instead of diaby. Diaby has much better presence than gilberto, who doesnt even bother to look before he passes at times. At least your defense was stable last night. But Henry needs to be stripped of captaincy because the guy just doesnt work hard enough.

I totally agree with you mate but there is no way on earth that they will take the captaincy away whilst they are trying to get him to sign a new contract.

The problem with the pitch could be addressed on the training ground, they pitches there are the exact measuarements as the ones at Highbury. Now that is great to adjust yourself for home games but maybe marking out a larger pitch to train on leading up to away games would be more beneficial.

Harvy - Fabregas is lightweight but he goes fully into tackles and always tries to win the ball back. The only reason he isn't affective is because of his size, the reason Gilberto is unaffective is because he has no bollocks!
 
Ive got to say that was a pretty diabolical show by Arsenal last night. You seemed to lack everything that you normally have in big games, similar to when Chelsea came to Highbury and beat you 2-0 where has all your confidence gone? you went from 49 Games Unbeaten, A defeat to us at Old Trafford and then indifferent from then on? You won an FA Cup on Pens for which we dominated the game. What is going on?

Arsenal havnt turned up for any big games this season. Theyve either scraped a draw or lost convincly.
 
Fabregas was one of the better players last night, Gilberto drags him down. I agree that Diaby needs to play with Fabregas. Walcott should come in asap. Pires should be dropped forthwith.

We need players that are hungry to play for the club, the team and the fans. Diaby, Adebayor, Walcott would give us that. Like I said before, a few of those players should be ashamed to pick thier wages up this week.
 
Even if Diaby played instead of Gilberto, you still have to look how young, inexperienced the centre of midfield would look, I dont think it would be good enough week in week out. Are they both 19 ?
 
I had a shit valentines day.

ended up having an argument with my girlfriend over the football, all she was doing was pointing out how shit we were. I got the hump and an argument insued.

God damn you Arsenal for being so shit - it put me on a right downer...didn't even get sexual intercourse....on Feb 14th of all nights!

You will be glad to know we have made up now - but its too late- For the love of God Arsenal get your act together!

I have no excuses for last night we were Pap! (we did get bummed out of a clear chance on goal and we were very onside - but other than that!)
