That's a good one! :lmao:

I can't wait for Madrid, last night has reignited a faint glimmer of hope for me. If they defend like that we could be in for a great night. Mind you, they did rest Woody, who's been good and Cicinho, who's been outstanding.

I think it really comes down to who defends worse on the night. If we have Kolo and A$hley back by then there's no reason we shouldn't be up to near full strength. Losing Ralf is a blow because say what you like about him, he's solid, provides muscle on the right flank behind weedy Fred and has bags of experience. Still, Gilbert has been faultless so far so perhaps he deserves it. Campbell's got some of working out to do to get back to fitness, but I'd have no real qualms about a Kolo & Big Phil partnership in central defence.

Cesc and Reyes know just how big a game against Madrid will be. Fab, as a former Barca lad will be firing to do one over the old enemy, plus JAR was instrumental in Sevilla's 5-1 spanking a couple of seasons ago. The impact of those two will be fundamental IMO.

You can pretty much guarantee Henry will put in a show stopper, but will Van P be up to it? I think he's got more than enough skills, but he's easily wound up. If things don't go to plan you could imagine him getting riled by continental defenders who know how to piss off hot headed youngsters. Still, his performances warrant a first team place in my book. Adebayor might get a look in if we're lacking a bit of height.

I would like to think Lauren as muscular, but the way Joe Cole robbed him of the ball at Highbury makes me shudder. Lauren went down like Joe Cole! hahaha!

Campbell will be up for this. I mean, who wouldn't! If he isn't, then maybe he should just retire from footy!! (sorry Sol!)

Cesc will get booed from the 1st minute... lets hope he keeps his temper in check. Reyes... he blew me away when Sevilla played Real 2 years ago. I still remember the 'Double Ole' on Zidane... or was it Figo?.. hmmm... Just hope he doesn't over do it and fall over like he has been the last couple of games!!! He was immense in that 4-1 drubbing!

for fuck sake....sol's out for 2/3 weeks and will most probably miss the first leg. this could give an oppotunity for last years sendoros to show up though.

3-2 against real would be perfect with Sol and Cole hopefully back for the second leg. I can't wait till we can play for the first time in our season A back four of Lauren, Toure, Campbell, Cole besides Lauren of course we have some well capable right backs thankfully and Clichy isn't far off at least as backup for Ash rather than use Cygan..

"What happened to us? We used to be good!"

you have Blackburn and we have Bolton the "B" will haunt us...( no excuses, but we`re using reserves in the backlines,if they get hurt we will use fans that live nearby)

1 Chelsea 26 36 66
2 Man Utd 25 23 51
3 Liverpool 25 14 48
4 Tottenham 25 13 44
5 Arsenal 25 19 41
6 Bolton 24 7 39

You guys should just admit arsenal are clearly past it now. Arsene child raper relys to much on young talent and transfer gambles. The young lads coming through havnt the muscle or grit to grind out results. I guess thats Arsenes way; he likes them young and tender

we're passed it? we have one bad season, thats all. you haven't played well for about three now. you say you're improving but i don't see it. arsene is building a team for the future which he has done before to great effect. henry was young and a bit of a gamble was he not? hmm...yeah wenger's a nutcase:roll:

I don't think Arsenal are past it. I have said all season, they are going through a transitional period. People like to jump on the 'Arsenal are crap' bandwagon around here, just like United get all of the time just because we lose a few games or have a bad patch.

Alucard, you are again demonstrating what a muppet you really are.

Your cheap shots at Wenger really show up your lack of intelligence. Yesterdays game was exactly the kind of game where we did use grit and we ground out a draw when it seemed we were going to lose (we almost won it as well!). In case you haven't noticed we have 8 defenders missing at the moment.

Unless you have something relevant to say then I suggest you fuck off.

Calm down boy, i was only having a laugh no need to get excited. You seem so passionate when i talk of arsene wenger. Yesterday though arsenal big players fought to the end to get a draw. But really should arsenal be desperate for a draw at home?

Your sense of humour is fucked up if you think it's funny to call someone a child raper!

I'll take a draw against Bolton home or away at the moment as our confidence agaianst them has been shot to pieces!

All of this talk about Arsenal walking all over Real Madrid is making me laugh! Real are on a superb run at the moment and the Gooners look very average. I think Arsenal will win it home but get battered away.
