Arsenal Thread

I have to say we were definately the better side after the first thirty minutes, it did turn out to be long balls to Adebayor in the end.

Score a nice goal, had a wonderful chance with Adebayor to finish the game off and played some OK football.. Tell me what did Liverpool do in the 1st 30 mins? At Fortress Anfield? go a goal down and play like a team that doesnt know how to play football!

As I said, we were terrible in the first 30, and got ripped apart. But we dominated the 2nd half. They scored a nice goal, admitted, Adebayor had one chance that he fluffed, but they had very little possession. We were pressuring them right back, and they resorted to long balls to Adebayor, which were dealt comfortably by Skrtel.

You must be embarrased to go through luckily :) 1st its the Chelsea goal that never went over the line. Then a penalty Arsenal Should have got but didnt get and then you lads get one of the softest penalties ive ever seen... and you lot go on about United getting everything their own way!!

Nice post mate...:DD

It was proven the ball did go over the line. Why are people still talking about that? Should I talk about the lucky decisions United got years ago?

Umm who said it went over the line? A bloke with double vision? It didnt go over.... You usually do rack on about us getting decisions our way all the time so why not ;) Face it lads over the course of the 2 legs Arsenal were the better team. @ Dags I can accept things have gone our way and how fortunate we have been (Boro on Sunday was an example of that, we should have got beat they were the better side). But you dont win 9 Premier League titles all based on Luck.

Are you Mourinho, still complaining about that? I bet Riise's goal against Barcelona was illegal too, because Riise is just not supposed to score with his right peg

And Kuyt's goal is illegal, because he is just not supposed to score.

You sound so bitter.

And Arsenal the better team over 2 legs? We beat them 5-3. They had FOUR opportunities to beat us, and they didn't.

Multiple football shows did 3D replays and they all show it went over the line. Hard to accept it eh? Facts show it did, and you can't admit it. It's not as if it was scored against United, the hatred from United fans is amazing

The first match against Arsenal, at the Emirates, I defy ANY team in the world to TRY and play attacking football against Arsenal and actually achieve it. We set our stall out to defend and we did it. The second game we were the better team BAR the first thirty minutes. So no, Arsenal weren't the better team over two legs.

Anyway, that's it. It's history now, time to look forward :)

Mr Shek, im not bitter, im sick of your Liverpool fans not even for once admitting things went your way and you were fortunate... now can you see why Plan M likes to wind you lot up?

Speaking to the United fan on dinner, he says the reason everyone hates us is because we're so lucky in the Champions League. We're always getting battered by the opposition and score a lucky goal in the last ten minutes and it pisses people off

Translates into:

your defence is so brilliant, and then you just have the determination and tenacity to soak it up and hit the cunts on the counter with pace :D

You really are embarrasing yourself here people.

The only embarrasing thing I have read from all the comments on here is your list of 'Facts' - Now that was very embarrasing - but it did make me laugh

And Dags saying that Liverpool were the better team over the two legs is also laughable

Precisely what I said early Bobby, Now I know im usually ultra critical of Arsenal but last night I felt sorry for you lot.

Chill guys, let the talking be done on the pitch. Liverpool are on their way to a SECOND season without winning feck all after spending a billion quid on average players whilst teams like Arsenal & United are building for the future and playing sexy football, entertaining their supporters at the same time! L'pool will be fighting for 4th spot this time next year YET AGAIN coming up with the same tired old excuses to why they can't win the title (refs, weather, having to play at 12pm every week etc). The only supporters in England who think Liverpool are brilliant are the blinkered LIVERPOOL ones. Our teams get praised left, right & centre by all sorts of supporters on a weekly basis because of our fantastic displays on the pitch. The only person who praises L'pool on a weekly basis is Phil "Liverpool were great in the 80s" Thompson. ;)

Yep, we were lucky. Just like we've been lucky when we got to the semi-finals twice before ...

Give it a break eh? Oh, United are NEVER lucky? United NEVER get given dodgy penalties? United NEVER have clear penalties not given against them? YAAAAWN! ;))

On our way? If we'd have lost last night, then sure. On our way when we've just got into the semi finals? As far as I was last aware, qualifying for the next stage of a cup is progressing forward and not to winning nothing? A VERY odd comment mate.

Especially considering Arsenal haven't won anything since 2005. So if anything, Arsenal are on their way to another season within winning feck all

The furthest you'll get is the final in my opinion and then lose. Just my opinion of course - you won't have the Kop to buy you decisions in Moscow. ;)

OK.. we have been lucky for sure and I know it. We were lucky against Boro on Sunday. They could and SHOULD have murdered us! We have had Dodgy Penalties in the past yep. United have had Clear Penalties against them.. it has happened a fair few times and even times when we should have one in the same game that WASNT give.. Dags its all swings and round-abouts mate but the difference is most United fans (Real Ones) can accept when we have been lucky and not played well. You lot play shite in 1 leg, dodgy in the 2nd leg where as Arsenal made a good showing in both and you lot reckon you deserved to win??

DJ they are never going to agree mate - I'd give up on the whole matter.

Anyway, United v the Goons on Sunday! Now THAT is going to be some game!
