I never mentioned Alonso in the 'future' players category. IMO, Alonso is very overrated, he's a very good player, but overrated.

But Reina and Lucas ARE for the future. You rate Babel, but you don't rate Lucas, which surprises me, as I think Lucas is more likely to be a top player (however, it's obvious you rate someone with 'pace and power' rather than someone with obvious vision and class'). And Reina is a top keeper at only 25, and keepers tend to play till the mid-30s. For the future for sure, no? :DUMMY:

im laughing at your post... hargreaves is great, its just hard to get in a side with scholes anderson and carrick..

fletcher is hit or miss. one day he reminds me of keano they next of oshea...

carrick is hit or miss sometimes too.. i wouldnt call them avg but there not great either, there above avg players who when are great. are really really good...

brown is servicable but nothing special, oshea is below avg but a good squad player who can play many positions... and i doubt ronaldo is scoring all of those goals with the assists from rooney, tevez, and scholes... your right united have 3 or 4 players who score goals, but plenty of others who help out... what team has 11 players who are key? this isnt the dutch team of 72 LOL... this isnt total football. I dont understand the point of your post, without carrick, rooney, tevez, schole, nani, anderson, rio, giggs, united isnt having the season there having. Go put ronaldo on Derby and lets see how many goals he scores?

The United v Arsenal game will be super-important to the Goons now. I wouldn't be suprised if they beat us like last season. :(

the FACT is, i said you had key players and one very special player, it is a FACT, i never said any team has 11 key players so why question that?


hargreaves in my oppinion is not a key player but makes the numbers up, carrick i do not rate

@Bitter Rivals, I think Hargreaves is only a decent player, but I really like Carrick. He should be playing more regularly for England, he's the only English midfielder who can control the game.

I remember when he posted pics of his GF (very nice indeed Mike) and then proceeded to slag off everyone on Evo Web saying they were sad loners with no friends and shit jobs and that evo-web was their life. Despite the fact that he constantly spams the Off Topic and Football forums 24/7

I lost all respect for him then, he won it back, and now its gone again.
