Arsenal Thread

I can't remember any United fans coming on here and saying United were "lucky". All I ever see is the other team played brilliantly and that's it. No mention of the word lucky anywhere.

I'm likely to miss the match on Sunday but I'll watch the highlights. I wonder if there's going to be a "dodgy" penalty decision. Because it'll be superb to see the posts from Arsenal or Utd fans if it happens.

Four times we played Arsenal. Four times they had chances to prove they were the better team. Four times they haven't been able to do that. We got lucky in four games?
 
Dags, last year when we nicked the 3 points from you with that John O Shea winner I said we were "Lucky" and that if Peter Crouch and Craig Bellamy had found their shooting boots that day we would have lost 2 or 3 nil. I give teams credit where it is due and I know we have been lucky at times. Last night other than fighting back I cant give you much credit. Christ even Stevie G says he played rubbish!

Regarding my list of facts:

Do you deny that Torres was hauled down by Gallas in the penalty area. It wasn't given because the Hleb incident wasn't awarded.

Do you deny that Fabregas was ripping Babel's shirt off as he raced away for the FOURTH

If Hleb's was a pen, then Babel's was a pen, thats the irony. Difference is Hleb went down like a randy lesbian

He did play rubbish, so did Torres. So because Gerrard doesn't have a good game, we're lucky? Oh I forgot, we're a one man team. No, TWO man team we're told now.

So when those two have a bad game but we still win, it's lucky? I see your method of thinking here DJ ...

The difference between me and you Dags is that I can hold my hands up and say I was wrong or congratulate another club when they win. You have "Liverpool Vision" and can't see further than the Reds. If we lost THREE - NIL at Anfield I would NEVER come out with the million excuses you did - you just looked stupid as many people have said to me on MSN.

Sad but true.

Torres 24, Mascherano 23, Skrtel 23, Agger 23, Reina 25, Lucas 21, Babel 21. Not to mention the youth team, who've won the reserve league, as well as the last 2 FA Youth Cups, with players like Plessis being more than a match for Fabregas and Flamini.

Liverpool fighting for 4th? What were Arsenal doing last 2 years? And they will probably finish 3rd this season.

On our way to winning nothing, when we've actually progressed into the semis? Oh, you think we'll only reach the finals? I am happy with 3 finals in 4 years. I personally think United will bottle it against Barcelona in the semis ;))

And sexy football? Certainly. Hopeful punts to Adebayor throughout the 2nd half was indeed sexy.

Reina, Alonso, Babel, Lucas, Torres all very, very average players indeed.

I obviously like your posts, but you are blinkered by your bias against Liverpool. If you actually watched the match, there was one team trying to attack, while the other team played on the counter. The other team being Arsenal. You obviously don't like Liverpool, but give credit where it's due.

Yes I can be bias mate, I admit it but look around you at your Liverpool friends. ALL of them are the same.

If you think Alonso, Lucas and Reina are building for the future then I feel sorry for you. These are GOOD players, not special.

Carrick is CLASS! Dags, you don't think ANY of the United players are good. I remember you saying "I don't rate Evra at all."

How we all LOL'd! Leave the PC alone for a night mate, get to a match and watch a team for real - you'll actually see who the good and bad players are. ;)

fact of the matter is.. utd have 3 or 4 key players, ronaldo being the spear head without him you would not be contesting the title

Good United players? Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves, Tevez, Rooney, obviously Ronaldo. The Welbeck kid looks pretty good and that Fabian Brandy? Is that his name?
