lol I went out before the last 20 minutes of the game so I didn't see that...I could watch that all day

I'm in a library & trying so hard not to laugh...

I guess Arsenal have caught our "away-day blues..." of last season...

Real madrid will tear arsenal apart. Even though they got problems of their own,Real will prove to have too much class and fight. Arsenal will end up trophyless and hopefully 5th place finsh, which should shut up a few arrogant fans who still babble on about going unbeaten blah blah. Arsenal are turning into a joke, they starting to remind me of newcastle with all their false hopes :lol:

That wasn't criticism, it was your own personal feelings of why you are enjoying Arsenal struggling.
 
Yes enjoyment of seeing my teams rivals fail is quite amusing, i see nothing wrong with that. I didnt see anyone holding back when united were going through loads of problems earlier in the campaign. IM sure if chelsea ended up with nothing lots of people would be laughing too, so i wont excuse myself in enjoying the decline of arsenal :)

Back to football... There's no reason we can't beat Real. They are in a similar league state as we are and have trouble dealing with counter attacking sides, as Celta's goal last night showed.

The Real vs Arsenal fixtures will be good games for the neutral I reckon. Both teams have over invested in attack and not enough in defence. Both teams looking to reclaim some pride in the face of overwhelming competition at home.

I smell goals :)
 
I think it depends on what Arsenal team turns up in Bernabeu. I agree that goals will be aplenty though, if we can score a couple over there I will fancy our chances, even if we lose say 3-2.

i don't think it surprised many that we lost. possibly arsene didn't want to risk going out to bolton with a full side because it was likely that would happen. we can beat real, and i reckon we will. their defence is worse than ours and their attack is lacking these days. ronaldo could prove to be a bit difficult but campbell can out muscle him and toure can out pace him.

its going to be a good game where its highly unlikely we'll cancel each other out, unless arsene goes for the 4-5-1...

yeah no one is surprised that you lose now, none at all, that what happens when your not a good squad anymore, next year without Henry its going to be intresting.... hell its going to be intresting this year, your last chance of getting into europe isnt looking all that great....

Henry is staying if we finish 4th. Its still in our hands I am confident we will. Don't get too excited you will be disappointed.

and might not make 4th place....

But by all means carry on if it helps you deal with the fact that you're no longer the biggest or richest team in the land, heck not even the North West.

You can't laugh at the Scousers any more, Chelsea have your limelight, your image as a credible European team is seriously eroded as you can't even beat Lille and you've even let your smaller local rivals spank you 3-1.

So yeah I guess a bit of Gooner bashing is all you lot have left. Oh how the 'mighty' have fallen. Carry on... ;)

imagine not winning the league for the last 2 (and soon to be 3) seasons with no indication of winning it in the near future *shudders*.

at the end of the day we could do this forever, at the moment we're both pretty poor, our league position is crap and we're out of the cup. you have absolutely no champions league or uefa cup football until at least august/september.

it doesn't exactly help anyone's cause by jumping on each other when we're down.
