Arsenal Thread

I'm actually pretty excited to see the arsenal team, i think its a great opportunity for their young players, who are very good. I think they'll be fine, and will more than likely take bolton by surprise.

their goes the fa cup, next is the champions league than by march wigan and bolton will be ahead us in the league, well done arsenal, our season is ALMOST over, just wait till the real madrid game...

F***in S**t! that midfield was just not good enough, although i was impressed with V.Persie, Gilbert and that other CB (dont know how to spell it).

Why on earth was he playing Senderos as a left back, surely theres some home grown natural left footer in da reserve? And why play 4-5-1 when we last won 7 - 0 playing 4-4-2?

our seasons over, if we can't beat dross like Bolton and Everton, how are we to beat teams like AC Milan, Barca, Juventus etc?

We just have to wait for our young players to age in every single respect and hope they can play together.

Bye Henry and Cole enjoy Spain.

too right your midfields terrible too. But your players arn't afraid of the physical side of the game.
Thats true too.
Arsenal's mentality is too heavily focused on attacking. Even more than Brazil IMO cuz even they have the right players that can sit back and defend.

we let in a very ameture goal, pathetic in everyway.. our midfield diddnt play has bad as u think cuz we actualy dominated the 2nd half. diabo is gunna get better and better i can see him roughing up some players mate

*sigh*...i'm getting bored with saying we're in a transitional period. arsene better have something extremely special hidden up his sleave, it's our last season at our home and he decides to make it our transitional period. only a very unlikely and quite truely shocking champions league win can save us now. the only good thing about the way we play going into the champions league is that our weakest attribute is unlikely to be exploited in europe. i reckon we will have an oppotunity to play our football in spain and it may just come down to whether or nor thierry decides to turn up or not (in the sense that he hides away in some games not that he'll fuck off to barca).

On a side note, Diaby's foul on Campo, if that's not a straight red then what exactly is? He came in late, high, studs showing, straight legged and broke Campo's foot. So if that's a yellow, what does one have to do to get a straight red?

That tackle combined with the flop and face holding after nolan hit him in the chest was making me think maybe he will be the next Vieira... :p

My thoughts exactly..

:lmao: @ Van Persie..

Poor van Pierse. He could have been badly injured with that air shot.I've seen an incident just like that one,the player twisted his knee AND sprained his ankle just as his shooting foot landed wrongly on the ground.Notice RvP's right foot just as it touches the ground.Could have gone with a 'Snap' sound.Poor Gunners, well at least you have the Champions League! :lmao:

Keown returns to the gunners  To teach the younger lads to toughen up and teach them to hate van nistelrooy probably!

Chelsea just need to sign zola, tottenhma resign Teddy, liverpool resign mcmanaman and united get back irwin.

Whats so funny? Keown is a legend and a true Gooner. He knows more than most what it means to pull on the red and white shirt. If anyone can put a bit of steel into the team, its Martin.

Here's the Diaby tackle on Campo, could have been a red but not the worst tackle we've seen this season.

He was a fraction late, a fraction. It was just a mistimed tackle with no malice involved, why is everyone getting so excited about it? Someone has said it was a high tackle, not true just look at the video! At least he puts his foot in and shows some fight which is just what we need at the moment.

It was late, might have got a yellow from a stricter ref but it's called a 'sliding tackle' for those of you who might have forgotten. Straight red? You must be joking.
