Bit of a waste if you ask me.

We've got Bolton next weekend. If Wenger's looking for a consilation prize then I'd much rather he concentrate on the FA cup game instead of knackering all the first team before Saturday. Or maybe as punishment for the dire display at Everton he's swapping the C Cup and 1st team squads completely :)

im just talking in general. Whenever a player catches him he makes the most of it.

Good goal btw gilbert is looking like a good prospect.
 
That goal wigan scored was exactly the same as the one everton scored. Senderous and campbell just cant cope with long balls. And what did i tell you about reyes theatrics!

Its a pity arsenal noot in the final. It would of been good arsenal v maybe united if we win tomorrow.

Great stuff for Wigan though. Let em have their day at Cardiff, they deserve it imo. They matched you at Highbury :) And have been sensational this year.

Theres always the FA CUP for Arsenal ;)

I could see Blackburn pulling off a shock too
 
I wouldn't be suprised if Blackburn go through tomorrow. No Scholes, no Park, no Smith.
 
van persie free kick was pure precision :applause: i almost choked! just a true strike, credit pollit! ohh well i think big teams shud have their eyes more on fa cup than league cup unless ur are planning a quadruple
 
yeah yeah yeah....

its only the league cup at the end of the day. we beat them on the day with our first team so it weren't embarressing.

and there's no way they matched us, for a majotity we completely out played them. anyways, good luck to them, it means a lot more to them than it does to us (although the turnout could suggest otherwise).
 
I think thats far from the truth or it should be, any event that you enter into should mean alot especially if you can win it. Lets be honest Aresenal are the least likly side of the top 5 :P that can win the title , so a league cup or an FA cup should be pretty desired IMO.
 
Right, lets put things into perspective, we lost in Carling Cup semi, hardly the end of the world is it? All credit to Wigan for never giving up, they rode their luck at times but thats exactly what you need in a cup competiton. Our defending for their goal was naive, what has happened to Senderos this season? He looks a shadow of the player that played so well at the back end of last season. Their keeper won't play like again for long while, he was awesome.

There were positives though, Gilbert at right back looks a good prospect, Van Persie's goal was brilliant. We now have a left footer who can take a decent free kick. Going forward we looked dangerous and on another night would have been out of sight at half time.

Wenger has said he will be resting players at Bolton as he wants to concentrate on the Prem, maybe this will be a good thing as our first eleven seem to struggle at up there.

ANyone know why Henry didn't take the pen? I thought he said after the Man City pen debacle he would be taking all the pens from now on?
