Arsenal Thread

I haven't read through any posts, so bear with me:

Henry was crap yesterday, and when he doesn't play, Arsenal don't, which is worrying if you are a gooner. Senderos is a joke and I think there needs to be a few changes in the squad. There is NO strength in there, just flare players. Has Henry signed a new contract yet? If not, it's Barcelona for him at the end of the season. Especially if Arsenal do not qualify for the Champions League - he is TOO good to be playing in the UEFA Cup.
 
Ok tell me what is so great about fabregas? the guy is a lightweight bitch, he only gets hyped up coz he is young and can pass the ball well. Other than that he doesnt do nothing that sets stadium alight. He isnt great at tackling, no real physical presence and isnt really goalscoring threat.

Rockyabir do you have anything else to say besides telling me i chat shit all the time? Its like your obsessesd with talking about alucard, never football talk or fair disagreement with what i have to say. Why is this? is it because you lack football knowledge and analysis?

What are with people referring to themselves in the third person!??!

Alucard, I say you talk shite cos you do. Whether it be in the Man U thread or others, your posts are quite ludricious - hence to prevent anyone getting offended by your remarks (i.e. "Darren Fletcher is class"), I feel its my obligation to the community to point out that you do talk shit and nothing should be taken seriously ;)

Hmm where did i say 'fletcher is class'? Im sure i said fabregas is no better than fletcher. Maybe its cuz your a 'liverpolian' from london that you feel you got to say something for the arsenal supporters. Judging from your posts i seen, you not really said anything worthwhile but do you see me trying belittle what you have to say?

As per being a Londoner and Liverpool supporter - I don't find that offending at all - if that is what Alucard's intention was. Its actually quite funny that someone has to use that (which was perhaps effective in the days of Primary School) to come back at me. What was even funnier was how you "threatened" me with a fight....how old are you ffs?! :lmao:

Im not upset, I just didnt understand why you always bashing my posts. My intention was to find out why you keep saying i chat shit. And your dumb ass response was 'you talk shit cuz you do' Btw i didnt threaten you. I was replying to someons suggestion to fighting in a room. Btw im 19. I do think it is hilarious too that a socalled liverpool fan from london sees fit to past commments like 'full of shit'. Maybe its a reflection of yourself.

its because hes a kid who talents are way ahead of his years, yes hes a pussy lightweight right now, and maybe wenger is relying too much on him, give him some years to get strength in his legs and hes gonna be a even better [player then he is now.

He shouldnt be playing so many games, thats where wenger has screwed up he should dnever have got rid of Viera or Edu.


Damn shame as Edu could have done a good job for us.

I agree i think wenger is over playing the lad. You need not to be playing so much so young. he is only 18. He should be given a rest every now and then. After draft him back into the team and his motivation and enthusiam would have returned. Instead you see him week in and out struggling with the responsibility of must win games in the heart of midfield. At 18 alot his on his shoulders, not too much time to enjoy himself and relax ease himself in with the more experinced players. If he keeps getting played like he is arsenals key player already, he will get drained out and his career may suffer.

why? are there so many Manyoo and liverstools on are threads...it written ARSENAL THREAD,Gooners support each other here....others need to key pad fight elswhere...let talk football...campell and senderos don`t communicate well they should never partner again,and yes are midfielders look like sheep wearing sheep clothing it depresses me...we need gangsters,not school boys...somone give me an insite...
 
i def think a new CB and DMF are needed. Gilberto and Fabregas need a rest, and Pires was Soooo ineffective on the weekend it wasn't even funny. I want the Pires back from double winning season 3-4 years ago. I've never seen a players form decline so much in 2 years! Him and ljungberg were imperious back then, and it was Pires who used to make the side click.

Senderos just looks out of sorts. Play a long ball over his head, and the mofo falls to pieces. He completely misjudged the flight of the ball, and don't get me started on what happens when Drogba gets on the field!

Campbell too seems to be out of sorts. His communication with Kolo is better.

Plus note is that Gilbert played well.

We haven't seemed to have had a stable defence this year. We need some consistency at the back a la Chelsea/Liverpool/Man Utd.

adebayor is flying home which could be interesting. enough with the northerners clogging up this place with there jibberish. at least talk about footie and not who's mum can beat up who's or whatever the fuck you were chatting about....

anyways, i reckon a win tomorrow is on the cards and will help the team spirit out. it's always nice to pull off a comeback and being in a final is always nice (even if its only the league cup).

and please don't compare our new player to a dickhead rapper, i like him at the moment and i want to keep it that way, how are rappers gangsters anyway? cos they dress like 12 year olds?

I remember people couldn't find anything wrong with us so they came up with that.

and at least we don't boo our team when our form dips a bit - Maybe thats because we are a more intelligent type of fan.

We talk about football in our forum, we don't find it necessary to talk of inane things, like who is uglier Ruud 'the Horse' Van Nistlerooy or Wayne 'Shrek' Rooney. So thats why people don't feel the need to post needless crap in here!

Please argue in your own forums and stay away from ours, unless you have something constructive to say.
 
Really looking forward to the game tonight, should be exciting. Especially coming from 1-0 down and the fact that we are taking the game seriously. Hopefully we will get a chance to see Diaby play tonight.

Arsenal fans dont boo their players cuz when they lose, its because they just arent good enough at times.
When we play badly, its more frustrating cuz our manager makes the dumbest decisions and we know we're better than that. So fans are bound to boo them.
 
seems to be a pretty strong team out tonight, im looking forward to the game...

cant believe its been 6 years since the likes of Henry and Lauren have started a league cup game...

I supposed with next years CL being far from guaranteed Wengers just being realistic....
