Arsenal Thread

Better still, we seemed to be using the width now too.

Did someone see 2 non-highbury moves? A cross from Eboue, and a header from Titi!

Some of the movement was fantastic, and Cesc's passing is just a joy to watch.

Should be a good game tomorrow against Porto! I can't wait!

yes! Eboue cross was a beauty the 1st and 2nd, I think Helb on the right suite Helb rather then Ljunburg.Titi had a part on all three goals just to remind us he`s the King

I`m still waiting for the beast to show himself

Baptista can't play on the side or wing to save his life. His game is based on two things, power and precision. He is better off in a aggresive central role. As for Ljungberg, I reckon he'd make a great second striker. His off the ball movement and explosive pace could be such a foil for Henry

It looks like the flood gates are opening and we`re scoring. We look like a very different Arsenal are attacks aren`t one sided.Even Gallas running and dribbling like a striker.VanP had some sweet chances alone I was hoping to see Baptista ,but shock to see again Eboue crossing the ball for Henry`s header (Damn he made it look so easy)

Ljungberg is the only one who may find harder to adapt his paces is not the same am I wrong? or is this lack of fitness

You lot are looking strong at the moment. Your test will be against Bolton, Everton and Blackburn. Will you be bullied?

No! because we have dominated every match we played(from passing to tackling)are test lies on scoring and we started to do that ;)

I think you're right. They will be the real test.

Hopefully now we've shifted Reyes and Pires we should have a bit more bite in midfield. Baptista won't be bullied, Gallas is a contender as well and even though he's not the biggest to say the least, Rosicky isn't afriad to harry and tackle an opponent like Le Bob often was (THAT tackle in last year's CL against our former captian aside of course!).

I think Arsenal will be a major force this season. Them & Man Utd will challenge Chelsea. Liverpool are like the FIFA football game series, they still don't have the consistency of the previous two teams.

lovely goals from us. great buildup for van persies first, and what a strike for his second. we deserved the win, although we looked a bit dodgy at the back.

:(

i didn't get to watch today's match... stupid FSC broadcasted the Chelsea game...

but I'm happy we won today, but lack of possession... now I really wanna watch this game :-k

you didnt miss alot. we played well uptil about 20 minutes into the second half. then we were under pressure a bit. but id suggest just seeing the goals.

setanta sports is worth every penny my friend better than GolTv and FSC I have all three

quality strike by Van P!

and true to the laws of the game he scored what seemed to be an impossible goal than missed a sitter later on...

good to see arsenal on the come up, if liverpool get there act together we could all seriously push the chavs!

Yup, Eboue definitely deserves props for his recent form. Some people are unfairly critical of him in my book. He's only young and still learning his game, but he has a natural attacking appetite as well as being a better defender than most would have you believe. His crossing ability in the last three or so games has been as good as anyone in the world.

I don't think it will be long before he gets on the score sheet. He just strikes me as that sort of player.

oh my days....i was just playing my mates really fucked up, copied version of pes6....but van persie is still crap in the game o.O

dribbling spd 76
Long pass acc. 80
Shooting acc. 75
Shooting power 81
shooting tec. 83
free kick acc 75

ARE YOU BLIND NOKAMI??

Phew, I thought I was the only who saw it hit his shin. I also thougth Joe Cole horribly sliced his volleyed goal in the World Cup, but was beaten into silence by other English fans at the pub...

you know what im loving this season??? ive said it in the past speically last season......

Arsenal players are willing to have a crack from distence!!!

something we lacked before but now we have guys willing to test keepers from all angles, im loving the way shots are flying in left right and center!

have u noticed they appear to be praticing a move where from a corner they pass it to the edge of the box for rosicky to hit, i think hes got one hell of a sweet shot.
