He deserves to play for Brazil but Gilberto and Emerson (of Roma) are the two people ahead of him in that position. A greater run in the side would help, for sure.

Then again, I wouldn't want another player travelling half the way across the world for a friendly.

You have a good point. At least we wont miss any other the brazillians during the olympics

Reyes might not play against WW tomorrow. Still recovering from a sickness. Probably the climate change...

Or the fact he dumped you out of the cup and doesnt want to show his face ;)

From our recent run of games against you guys id say Gilberto and Edu were indeed pretty good players, altho Veira is still the daddy. He played outta his skin on tuesday.

How many times did he just lift the ball over the oncoming players head. I lost count.

The unsung hero I thought was Cole, he was taking players on getting his tackles in and his distribution was good.

That's his trademark, I love it when he does that and he seems to do it atleast 2 or 3 times in every game. They should incorporate that for him in PES4.

And false. Nice article on Bergie in the Independent. I hope he stays on for another year. Apart from helping us out, he does a great job with the youth. That last line rings so true, I thought. Too bad his best international goal had to be scored against my country. ;)

Bergkamp smiles wanly. I ask him whether, when Wenger does call time on his Arsenal career, he might carry on playing football at a less exalted level? Hey, maybe for Spurs?

Hahaha, great line. Made me laugh, anyway.

3-1, still top, and a new club record. If only those stupid fucking scousers could have made their comeback worthwhile it would have also been 4 points clear. Still, if we keep winning no one can stop us taking the title.

You Gooners are cruising, fair play. Breaking records and everything! You might even win the Champions League one day! ;)

I envisioned United might do a Spurs after O'Shea's own goal. No such luck but it doesn't really matter because we're still top.

There was a moment in the game, after Henry scored his 99th, that he flicked the ball up with his right boot and went for the volley. At that very moment, the awesome goal at Highbury that Titi scored against Man Yoo came to mind. This was futher out though and went straight to Jones. Oh well, too bad. He still had a cracker of a game. K-Lo scored too, which is always nice.
I recently aquired that boy Ganea in my new ML team. The cunt's getting the boot now. ;)

Bring on the Saints.

Great to see Arsenal set a new club record of games unbeaten, especially at Molineux where it's been a whipping ground for the top teams in the league, ahem ;) It just goes to show what a great team spirit Arsenal have had this year, and you can clearly see it whenever they celebrate for a goal as everybody is grouped around. Bergkamp's goal today was superb, shooting across the ball and slicing the shot in, class! Cole's been playing brilliant lately making those mazy runs along the left side. Kolo has now moved into central defence, lauren right back, seems solid to me. Wenger clearly wants to play Edu at every opportunity, taking notice of his good form of late. If only those bloody scousers kept on going and did a man city :x Still pleased by the way arsenal are just churning out those wins and henry in great scoring form. Going to the saints game this tuesday, hope there wont be any monsoon weather this time ;)

Forgot to mention that Edu played another blinder. Played the sweet through ball to Cole which set-up Bergkamp's classy finish. Totally right about Cole, 14_Henry. The understanding of Pires, Henry and him on the left is unbelieveable.

Gilberto looked MEGA uncomfortable on the rihgt. I have no idea why he was played there ahead of Parlour. It seems Wenger is adamant that he has to play every game! Maybe Ray had a minor injury worry. I hope we line up the same way against the Saints, but with Parlour in instead of Gilberto. It's at home too, where Parlour always shows his might.

Yea, If we play with that team out we'll certainly win. Southampton at home last season was an incredible game, 6-1.. With Pires and Pennant both scoring hattricks.

It was a great win after the total disappointment of not winning the league.

Oh, remember Pires' hat-trick goal? Pure and utter magic. A beautiful, beautiful goal.

I think the lines could be gold (like the outline of the crest). Judging form this new nike design on the Holland kit it looks like this could very well be the new kit :(

Yeah take a look in the euro kit thread.. its exactly the same design. I dunno.. it could grow on me cos the Holland kit is nice

Yeah we all say how this possible new Arsenal shirt is crap but that's exactly how I felt when I saw our current home shirt for the first time but it grew on me.
